San Giovanni La Punta : locations de vacances avec cheminée

We have been using Airbnb for many years now, so when we meet very good hosts we recognise them straight away. Agatino is naturally able to make you feel welcome, the villa is very elegant and the garden is very well maintained with a very nice view of the vignard. Nothing was missing inside the house and we actually didn’t know that breakfast was included, so a nice bonus. In other words we only stayed two nights but we wish we had stayed longer.I hope we will have a chance to come back again.

Benny is an incredible host. We had a wonderful two days there. His place is in a great location and we loved everything about it! We also went to CutìLuDissi which is his and his business partner’s restaurant. It is located right where everything is happening and the entire meal was delicious. We can’t wait to go back!🇮🇹

The view from Laura's place is great. You can see the ocean but we had rain so didn't get to use it much. Bed and apartment were cozy and comfortable. lots of art on display and lots of history in the home. Great place in Taormina.

The apartment was a great option for us to stay long-term in Sicilia outside the bigger cities but still close. We enjoyed our stay so much as it is calm with a beautiful view from the balcony, a fireplace inside and so many cozy corners. The flat has everything you need, is well equipped (really enjoyed the beamer for movies and the sound system for music) and Angelo was always so helpful. Acireale has very nice cafés and restaurants and after some days you get familiar with the surroundings and staff starts greeting you as it becomes a regular place. The station is a bit far but nontheless we enjoyed the walk there and so many other cities and places (including Etna, Catania…) are reachable within minutes or hours from there.

Wir (vier Erwachsene und zwei Kinder) hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Salvos Apartment. Die Lage am Hafen ist einfach großartig, es gibt gute Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Haus und viele Möglichkeiten zum einkaufen und essen gehen. Danke, dass wir deine Gäste sein durften.

The house was great, and the gardens and grounds with pool were absolutely outstanding, with the most wonderful views of the coastline, and easy access to Mount Etna too, I would definitely come again (when the weather is warmer!). Our Host, Vanessa, was absolutely wonderful and was incredibly proud of her home country and the local area, and was super responsive for anything we needed.

Vincenzo ist ein guter Gastgeber. Check in und out war sehr flexibel, er war immer erreichbar und hat uns Restauranttipps gegeben. Das Ferienhaus steht neben dem Wohnhaus von Vincenzo auf einem großen Grundstück. Im Garten gibt es ein paar Spielgeräte für Kleinkinder, das war super! Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir waren zwei Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind, dafür ist die Wohnung perfekt. Man sollte bedenken, dass fußläufig kein Geschäft oder Restaurant ist und man auf jeden Fall ein Auto benötigt. Zum Steinstrand San Marco sind es nur wenige Minuten.

Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll ausgestattet und sauber. Alles was man braucht war da. Vielen Dank!

L’appartement de Chiara est spacieux et très agréable, superbe vue sur l’Etna pour prendre le petit déjeuner. La cuisine est bien équipée. Angela qui est la voisine qui nous a accueilli était très gentille. Bonne continuation :)

We had a great time on your apartment- would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a high quality retreat. The apartment is located in walking distance to down town aci Trezza and has an amazing view of the ocean. It was great to have private parking as we wouldn’t have felt too comfortable having the rental car on the side of the road. Niky was fast to respond if we had any questions regarding the apartment or the area. One thing we would recommend is having firewood for the indoor fireplace at hand for future visitors- as spending time looking for right kind of firewood could have been avoided. Sabrina’s casa is absolutely delightful. A gem of a find, we loved the space and the amenities. It’s comfortable, well maintained and kitted out with whatever one could need. We spent hours on the balcony, enjoying the unblocked sea view and only wished we’d had a few more days to spend there. If we go Taormina again, we will definitely try to book Sabrina’s. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Nous avons séjourné pendant une semaine à 6 personnes dans la partie a l étage de la maison. L appartement ne correspond pas tout à fait aux photos puisqu une chambre a été ajoutée dans le salon … mais la pièce de vie reste très spacieuse. Il n y avait pas de volets ( et pas de rideaux opaques dans le salon) ce qui est dommage quand on dort dans le salon et que le soleil se lève a 6h … et surtout pour couper du soleil quand il y fait très chaud . La cuisine n était pas suffisamment équipée plutôt rustique Heureusement que Sonia s est montrée réactive à nos demandes. La Clim était indispensable mais n est pas assez performante pour rafraîchir les chambres. Je dirais que l appartement vaut le coup pour la terrasse et la vue sur Taormina et la tranquillité s il y a du monde au rdc ( cet appartement doit être plus adapté pour un long séjour) .les extérieurs sont vraiment magiques et très appréciables en période de canicule ils sont d ailleurs très bien entretenus .

We hebben heel erg genoten van ons verblijf bij Alessandra. Ze stond zelfs ons om 23.30 op te wachten, we hadden een late vlucht, om haar appartement te laten zien. Alles was binnen loopafstand en de auto kon bij het huis geparkeerd worden. Super! Ook de eerste benodigdheden had Alessandra in huis gehaald. Kortom zeker een dikke aanrader om dit verblijf te boeken.

Spacious apartment with excellent views of the water and surrounding hillside. The residential complex is picturesque and peaceful. Extremely convenient location, reachable by car from one side and walkable to the Corso Umberto and most of Taormina’s tourist attractions from the other. The hostess was very communicative and provided all the information we needed to comfortably enjoy our stay. Amenities and rooms matched pictures and descriptions. Checkin and checkout were flexible. Can’t recommend enough!

Sono stata a casa di Francesca per una settimana. La casa è in una posizione perfetta, vicinissimo a lidl, supermercati e centri commerciali. Distante solo 10 minuti in macchina dal centro di Catania (per il tipo di viaggio che avevo in mente io è stata una casa perfetta) in più è leggermente rialzata su una collinetta, e nelle calde giornate di agosto abbiamo avuto il piacere di respirare un po' di aria fresca! a 15 minuti dalla casa si trovano anche delle bellissime zone di mare (come "le grotte di Ulisse"). Francesca è molto disponibile e aperta al dialogo! nel complesso un'esperienza positiva!!

This villa is not a modern hotel but a grand estate reminiscent of the aristocracy of Italy; private, but living within the culture of the surrounding area. The grounds are lush and gated with a very large swimming pool. A car is necessary to get to other cities and/or bus stops/train stations. The GPS on our personal phones was excellent and useful in traveling around Sicily. Our hosts, Francesco and Maria, were warm and genteel. They live on the premises next to the villa so access to their assistance and advice was always available via phone, AirBNB and What's App. The beds are antique and amazingly comfortable - a recommendation would be to have additional pillows available for those who may not be back sleepers. We had 7 women from our bookclub back home and it sleeps 13 so there is plenty of space for a larger group. We would stay at the villa again if we do go back to Sicily. We had a great time!!!!

We rented Paul's villa for a family holiday and had a wonderful time. The place is perfect for a large group, and the kitchen is well-equipped for serious cooking. We were a group of 9 adults and had ample space to sleep and hang out together. It was only about 30-40 minutes from the airport, and about 5-7 minutes from the center of Viagrande, which has some excellent shops for the gastro-tourist. The outdoor grounds are also very nice, but we were there in December and did not take full advantage. In short, I highly recommend Paul's villa.

Outside the city, this location is gorgeous with magnificent views, but it would be hard to travel without our rental car. The hosts were uniquely attentive, communicative, considerate, and generous. I wish I could say the location was quiet and peaceful, but the neighbor's honking geese and relentlessly barking dogs forced us inside in the mornings. That is one of few things we would wish different, in addition to the steep front walkway and stairwell, and complex garbage rules. However, we enjoyed the luxurious pool and panoramic terraces daily. The large overhang by the pizza oven allowed us to even appreciate the rainy days. The spacious kitchen and Sicilian-styled open layout allowed for family dinners and comfortable hang-outs. Brief maintenance visits by Giuseppe and Giulia occurred at 7:00 daily, but they kindly did not enter the house. Any questions were immediately answered, and requests carefully met. Overall, we felt welcomed, cared-for, appreciated, and unfettered.

Tranquil, beautiful mountainside villa about 10 minutes from Bronte with imposing view of Etna and surrounded by vineyards, magpies, and flocks of sheep. The exterior of the building is volcanic rock, giving an “old-world” Italian feel. The host, Nunzio, went far above and beyond the call of duty in welcoming us after a difficult travel in the middle of the night, helping us when our rental car ran a flat tire on the way there, making introductions in town and guiding us through city hall, recommending restaurants where I ate some of the best food in my life, and overall caring for us and treating us as family. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for his care and support while we were here.

Amazing stay in a perfect villa with the BEST hosts! Isabella was so communicative, very helpful with recommendations ( including local arancini festival) and flexible with check in/out. Villa was great and she also arranged for a pizza chef to come in one night and cook some amazing pizzas. We did have 2 cars and used them every day as not much is walking distance, but Villa is very well located for trips to beach, Taormina, suracuse & Etna … and in such a lovely Villa we had little reason to leave! Thanks again and hope to stay again soon 😀

Un lieu d'une beauté exceptionnelle, entouré de vergers luxuriants. Graziella et son époux sont des hôtes remarquables : réactifs, chaleureux et d'une grande gentillesse. Grâce à leurs précieux conseils, nous avons découvert des restaurants de qualité et des sites fascinants à explorer dans la région. Nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis chez nous. De plus, étant arrivés tard dans la nuit, ils ont eu la délicatesse de nous laisser un petit déjeuner pour le lendemain matin. Un séjour inoubliable.

We really enjoyed our stay in Taormina at Louisa’s place. Louisa is wonderful, very warm, friendly and helpful. She made us feel welcome and appreciated. We felt fortunate to find such a great place to stay. The place is gorgeous, it has that lovely, classic Sicilian villa feel to it. It was a joy to stay in during a few of the rainy days of our stay. The villa is very well located, just a 7 minute walk from the main walking street (Corso Umberto). It also has a private parking garage which is a difficult amenity to find in Taormina. It was a huge plus for us as we were touring Sicily by car. There’s a large, eat-in kitchen with literally everything you need on hand, the bedrooms upstairs are comfortable, with en suit baths. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms and actually everything was very clean. The provided fruit, coffee and a bottle of wine from Louisa were a nice touch. We will stay here again and look forward to our next visit. Highly recommended. Thank you Louis

Had a wonderful time at Francesco's place! He and Giovanna were very welcoming and generous hosts, sharing local recommendations and even some home made wine! The pool was the perfect spot to cool off after a hot day and the house was well placed for excursions to Etna. Thank you both for a delightful stay !
