I cannot say enough about the beauty of this location. The view is unbelievable. The house is so well sited to take advantage of the view. The porch is gorgeous and soaking tub is lovely. The house is glass on two sides to take full advantage of the view but also completely private. Modern decor with a serene and peaceful vibe. Isaac responded immediately to our questions when we arrived. Great weekend getaway. We will definitely stay here again!

Simplemente un lugar mágico en mi bello Costa Rica...

Todo estaba super bien, muy bonito, la casa preciosa, muy limpia y ordenada, realmente cómodo. Por lo demás una experiencia formidable.

Guillermo was a great host. He met us at the gate and was very welcoming. His place is a fun quirky little place and his pride of ownership shows. The kitchen was well stocked and the La Hermosa town square, with a consistently good little restaurant La Cuchara de Lao, was a short walk away.

Metamorfinca is an absolutely stunning property that blends luxury and peaceful simplicity. We had multiple folks in our party. Our family of four stayed in Casa Cascada and our accompanying single guest stayed in a Jungle Pod. Casa Cascada is perfect for families or two couples. You will feel at home with all of the amenities you need in the kitchen (including fresh eggs from their farm), two bathrooms, and two well appointed bedrooms. There is a shared deck in the living area and an individual balcony off of each bedroom. Everyone can be together and yet have individual space to breathe. And the attention to detail in design is amazing, for those who appreciate such things. The Jungle Pod is awesome for 1-2 people. Again, beautifully designed and super functional and well equipped. And then there is all to enjoy on the property— a pool, hot tub, yoga shala, gardens, animals, river and more. We are so grateful for our time there and can’t wait to go back to continue the magic.

Claudios place is a great option explore the Ballena bay. You will be close to national parks and activities as well as nice restaurants. What’s really outstanding is the standard as well their service. We rarely saw hosts that were so responsive and attentive. If you plan your trip this place is really a wonderful hub for you.

El lugar es increíble! Las fotos no le hacen justicia, la casita es preciosa muy moderna y limpia, el jacuzzi es espectacular con unas vistas impresionantes, si buscas una experiencia realmente magica y privada esta es la mejor opción, vimos un perezoso con su bebe afuera de la casa y creo que esa experiencia no tiene precio, el host fue muy atento, volveria mil veces a este alojamiento y lo recomiendo muchísimo!

El lugar está en una ubicación maravillosa. Tiene vista espectacular hacia las montañas por todas partes! Al entrar olía rico y a limpio. Todo estaba en su lugar y acomodado. Las camas súper limpias y cómodas, demasiado ricas! También la cabaña cuenta con chimenea y varios calentadores, eso fue demasiado util porque sí hace bastante frío. Y en general nos encantó poder descansar en el lugar, dormir, ver las estrellas y disfrutar el paisaje y lugar.

Costa Rica is more than just beaches & surfing. Ruben’s mountain cabin has beautiful views, a private “eco-spa” in the stream, and a swimming hole nearby, fruit trees, and birds of all kinds including Toucans. It’s a short walk to the market and bus stops, a 15 min trip to San Isidro by car or taxi, and a half-hour to Dominical. Days are hot and it gets cool at night, and it is always quiet, just the sounds of nature - reminds me of being at a cottage in Canada in summer.

This place was perfect! There is a steep walk to the cabin that may be difficult for some people, especially with luggage. But once you arrive at the top, the view is more than worth it! The shower had very hot water which was nice while in the cooler mountain climate. Juan Carlos even provided us with his own homegrown coffee for the morning. We would definitely come back!

I liked the location here as it’s just far enough from town to have enough quiet around you to enjoy some wildlife. I saw hummingbirds, toucans, monkeys from the patio. In the morning and evening I could hear the ocean waves. It’s about a 10 minute walk to town. Lizzet was very communicative, responding quickly. There’s no screens on the windows or AC. Overall, I had a good stay here.

Muy linda la estadía en Pura Villa, mi esposo y yo disfrutamos la paz de la cabaña con el sonido del río de fondo, Roger fue muy amable.

Great cabin, situated near the river, the bird feeder is the high light. They are very welcoming and helped to arrange a great bird guide and horse riding, this is our second visit here and will definitely return!

Einfaches, rustikales Haus. Sieht so aus wie auf den Fotos. Von der Strasse aus läuft man ca. 5 Minuten zum Haus. Gutes Wlan. Fantastische Aussicht und ruhig. Charles ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar. Es lohnt sich mehrere Tage zu bleiben, weil die Region - vor allem für Naturliebhaber - viel zu bieten hat (diverse Wanderungen und Wasserfälle). Kontaktiert diesbezüglich Charlie.

Remarkably chill and comfortable! Lots of different spaces to watch beautiful views and vibes. I can't imagine a better place than this to hang. It is about 20 min up a steep gravel road so you probably want a car, We made it without 4*4 but no guarantee. We will be back!

Wonderful stay in the mountains of Costa Rica! Cozy and welcoming cabin with spectacular views all around. Wonderfully responsive host with great local recommendations. 100% recommend!

we had a great time exploring the Parque Ballena, the cabin is lovely and quiet facing a nice garden, and nearby restaurants are great!

Excellent bird viewing off the upper deck. We saw many different types of delightful birds throughout the day.

Nela&José place is amazing: the view and nature around, the cabin have everything you need, you could actually feel they have thought about every small detail, Jose was available for every question and answered immediately. we fall in love at this place and are grateful about the opportunity to stay in.

This is the second time I have stayed here- and I am sure it will not be the last. This place is a gem. It’s private, beautiful and everything you’d want when you think of Costa Rica and escaping to the Rainforest 😂 Heather is always available if you have questions and will offer you recommendations for just about anything you can think of.
