Really enjoyed our stay - Marie was welcoming and a great communicator. She responded quickly and helpfully every time and the accommodation was gorgeous, well kept, clean and comfortable. Five stars, we will def come again 😍

This Eastsound home on Cascade Bay, adjacent to Rosario Resort, is a perfect San Juan Island getaway. Despite the resort's proximity, it's extremely quiet and private. The view of the bay and marina from the deck is wonderful, offering a picturesque backdrop. The home is comfortable, spacious yet cozy, and well-appointed with thoughtful details. The bathrooms are stocked with soaps and lotions, and the kitchen is fully equipped with herbs, spices, and cooking oils. High-quality linens, including towels, sheets, and comforters, add a touch of luxury. The location is ideal for walks and hikes, with Moran State Park nearby. We enjoyed hiking around the beautiful Cascade Lake. A minor downside was the 4 pm check-in and the lack of response to our request for an earlier check-in. However, the 10 am checkout was convenient for our ferry schedule. Travel Tip: Plan your trip to Orcas Island in advance. Secure ferry reservations through the Washington State Dept of Transportation website

Gramma Rikki has a beautiful home nestled privately in the trees. She has simply thought of everything to make the house accommodating from providing games to having the kitchen stocked with spices and other cooking amenities. The home was even more vast in person than in photos and was cozy and inviting. We hope to come back again when the weather is warmer to enjoy all the property has to offer. Perfect vacation home for bigger families!

A beautiful setting and a comfortable home! The hosts were really helpful and Joe made a special effort to let the kids in our group meet the goats (thanks Joe!). Great recommendations for activities and hikes, too.

My rating applies only to Susan's communications - we unfortunately were not able to stay at Susan's place due to hazardous winter weather conditions. Susan was extremely responsive and was diligent in keeping us updated on weather and road conditions and made it easy to cancel when we realized our car wouldn't make it up the driveway. I'm sure she would have been a wonderful host as well.

Sherri's house was a treat for my group of friends looking for some quality r&r on Island time. Surrounded by lush forrest and incredible views, we felt far, far away from the hustle and bustle of our city lifestyle. The living room was a perfect gathering space to come together comfortably even for our large group. The sofas and chairs were relaxing and the kitchen provided a perfect spot for the group to make meals together and it never felt crowded. Outside the house we were able to access Moran State park quickly and easily, and when we needed to grab groceries, and rent bikes, East Sound was less than a 10min. drive away. Would highly recommend to all, and will definitely be planning our return soon.

We stayed for 4 days and truly found it to be a magical experience. Few things in life match, but here they align pristinely. The photos accurately depict the experience and then some. We had an amazing time at this home and are looking forward to rebooking in the next 6 months. We traveled with our 10 month old and the home came with a pack and play which we didn’t realize until later making this home extraordinarily accommodating. It’s everything you could possibly need. We sat for hours reading, drinking coffee and enjoying the amazing view this bnb had to offer. Coupled with a bbq that they offer and a surplus of appliances we rarely ever had to leave making this an all inclusive experience. We cannot wait to come back!

We were very grateful for Yuri’s detailed notes regarding finding the condo, getting in, being extra careful about all the tree sap, etc. We especially loved his descriptions of the local restaurants, sights and activities!!! We followed his recommendations and had excellent meals and adventures. The place is filled with his wife’s incredible art. We both feel renewed from our week on Orcas Island!

Lovely property, the kids loved exploring the pond and cattails. Tons of nearby nature to explore. Lopez is always lovely, and our stay here was no different. My 5 year old adds, “Our stay here was awesome & amazing! I loved the forest behind the property.”
