Excelente casa

Nos quedamos en la casa proxima a la piscina, el alojamiento cumplio con todas nuestras expectativas, es muy espacioso, la cocina tenía todo lo necesario para poder organizar nuestras comidas y las vistas son espectaculares. Las habitaciones tienen buen tamaño e iluminación. Además tuvimos la suerte de poder participar de un evento/encuentro que John había organizado y que incluía una cena muy completa en un ambiente súper familiar, recomiendo preguntar a John sobre sus eventos e intentar coordinar la estadía con uno de ellos para vivir esa experiencia también. Gracias por todo John, con seguridad volveremos!

¡Nos encantó Casa Alegre! La vista de San Juan del Sur es espectacular y la casa súper cómoda. Rudy fue muy atento desde el inicio, y Alex siempre dispuesto a ayudar, incluso con las compras para que solo nos enfocáramos en disfrutar. Pero lo que realmente hizo la diferencia fue contar con Doña Carmen y Doña Esther: nos consintieron con toda la deliciosa gastronomía nicaragüense qué les solicitamos, mantuvieron todo impecable y estuvieron siempre pendientes de nuestros gustos. Recomendamos contratarlas sin pensarlo, su calidez y atención hacen que la experiencia sea inolvidable. ¡Mil gracias Rudy, Alex, Carmen y Esther por hacer de nuestra estadía algo tan especial!

The place is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is better equiped than comparable rentals. Housekeepers are amazing.

Great unit to stay. If you need to check out before 8:00 AM make sure you arrange it with the staff. I did not know this and it was a bit of a hassle to check out and had to leave 45 minutes later then I wanted to leave.

Erg fijn verblijf met een prachtig uitzicht. Het gezamenlijke zwembad is erg fijn en het restaurant is van goede kwaliteit. Bij de receptie wordt goed Engels gesproken en het inchecken ging ook erg snel en soepel. Vanaf de locatie ben je met 10 minuten in het centrum van San Juan del Sur en in 30 minuten bij de stranden Maderas en Hermosa. De supermarkt is 5 minuten rijden. Kritiek op het verblijf is dat de afzuigkap niet werkte in de keuken en dat het douchewater niet warm wordt (dat is het geval bij bijna alle huisjes op het park Villas del Palermo), desondanks was ons verblijf fantastisch.

The house is amazing, you have access to the beach right in front of you, only recommendation for anybody is to bring your own food from a local supermarket as there is an hour drive off road(4x4 recommended) after reaching san juan, the place is very private, you have the beach for yourself, the house is very clean, enough rooms, and spacious. Local housekeeper was very useful as he can go buy you items at extra cost while you enjoy your time, final score 10/10.

We had a very nice stay at Casa Pocahontas and felt right at home. The house is decorated with a lot of love and is located about 10-15 minutes walk from Playa Maderas. We spent a lot of time in the open living area with the huge terrace. A great place to relax, read a book or watch the wildlife in the jungle. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were well equipped. There was even a yoga mat and blackrolls. If we had any questions, Sebastian was always available and due to the keybox the check in/out was very flexible and uncomplicated. We can only recommend the Casa and would definitely come back again.

We had a fantastic time at Denise's wonderful property on the coast of Nicaragua. A once in a life time view a short drive from a very cool beach spot. Denise was super responsive and her instructions were clear. She continued to provide recommendations and help even after we had checked out in terms of transportation. Highly recommend!

We stayed at CasAnika for three weeks and had an amazing time! The house is spacious, clean, and cozy, with a beautiful terrace and a well-equipped kitchen. The Wi-Fi was great for remote work, and we loved the pool area and the friendly dogs and cats. Tony was a fantastic host, always helpful and full of great tips. The location is quiet, private and ideal, within walking distance to Maderas and Marsella beaches. We rented a scooter for trips to town but rarely needed to go as the area was so peaceful. Highly recommend!

Casa California in San Juan del Sur is an absolute gem. The property is stunning, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff (Petrona and her husband) is friendly and accommodating, making sure every need is met. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed.

Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Best quality/price in the area, nicely placed between playa remanso and about 13 minutes from san juan del sur. Pro: Well situated, mountain chalet feeling as you are surrounded by beautiful tropical mountains, clean and with multiple bedrooms, really magical views of the surrounding nature, Alvaro the property manager is a really nice guy and is there 24/7 for your needs and also if you need a ride to the beach. Cons: Need a 4x4 car to access which adds around 60USD per day to your rental as a regular rental car will not get you there, very strong smell of insecticide all throughout the house as it is in the middle of a forest and I imagine get's filled with all types of bugs, security camera surveilling the terrace 24/7 on the upper floor so it does not fill very intimate when you are with family, no hot water no blender and no TV. Gave 5 star because of the amazing experience we had overall with my family. 100% recommended

What a wonderful place. The view is so beautiful. Everything about this place was perfect. Pool area is very nice. The walk to restaurants and stores is easy and short. We wanted to stay longer but the house had someone else coming in. I would highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed. Also, it is probably the best location to be. Go and enjoy!!!!

Everything about the place was perfect from my perspective – the location, the amenities, and especially Franco the caretaker. He was just fantastic and so accommodating. I really appreciated him letting me into the house early - I didn’t even ask and wasn’t expecting it and was just planning to spend the day on the beach. He was just a joy to work with. The beach, as others have noted, is barely 2 minute’s walk from the house and is pretty and uncrowded yet so convenient to San Juan del Sur. The restaurants are very good and the service is great and very friendly (a little pricey by Nica standards but still reasonable). I have been around Nicaragua plenty and disagree with the recent review suggesting that the property is not a good value. The impeccable pool alone justifies the price, the location is excellent, and the house is spacious, clean, comfortable and with well functioning AC. And, again, there’s Franco! The house may not be luxurious, but it did not disappoint.

Fue una maravillosa experiencia, la casa está mucho más linda en persona de lo que las fotos muestran, limpia y completa en su totalidad. Su cercanía y privacidad en la playa es lo más genial. Volvería muchas veces más!

Great place to visit if you like nature walks on the beach.. if your looking for a place to relax get always and not worry about any noise or traffic this is the place to be.. ocean is about 400 ft away.. Lester the care taker and his wife are so wonderful and lovely people.. make sure you ask Lester to take you for a ride around the coastal..

This place was perfect. Great location, private and sufficient amenities. Onsite staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Walking distance from town. I would highly recommend!

truly a work of art. The serenity of the jungle combined with the open kitchen design made for the perfect backdrop for our stay. It was comfortable, full of natural amenities, and perfectly located for all of the activities we engaged in. Victoria was exceptional from booking through departure. we will certainly be staying again and remain friendly in the interim. don't look anywhere else... if you are looking for a beautiful home in Playa Maderas, this is it.
