I have stayed at and even helped professionally create many homes over the last thirty years and I can honestly say I have never had such holistically amazing experience as staying as Saltwood. It was no less than perfectly unforgettable. From the high bluff, panoramic views that literally stretch over 100 miles, to bald eagles flying and perching just feet away, to fresh flowers and homemade sourdough and butter set out for us before we arrived. You would think that would be enough to basically sum up a review and in-fact it normally would but I saved what I feel is the best for last. I could start in on the details with the available chef or the heated floors or the slate hot tub and custom stone bathtub surrounded by venetian plaster overlooking the Pudget Sound and many other wonderful details but there is something else far more special. We loved Donette’s place! The home was in a very convenient location for visiting Olympic National Park. It had everything we needed and more, including thoughtful touches like snacks and trekking poles to borrow. It was clean and exactly as shown in the pictures, and Donette provided clear instructions for everything.

Fantastic place for our three generations of family to spend Christmas week! The property manager set up a Christmas tree for us to bring decorations and decorate. Everyone had their own room and bathroom, so kids could go to bed early. Centrally located between Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor = short drives to the sights. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped. We would absolutely go back. Don't forget a ferry reservation to make it easy.

Wonderful home with plenty of room for the 5 of us. Always appreciate pet friendly accomodations. The host was very helpful and clear/timely with communication. The house was spotless with all needed amenities. The kitchen is large, well stocked, and there's plenty of dining and lounging room. We had a wonderful, comfortable time! Ask about booking direct through their site.

We loved this stay! It was exactly as described and was the perfect spot for us in all of our travels. The house was super cute and clean. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Ya que aparte de ser muy amplia , es muy bonita; Krista siempre se mostró muy atenta y hospitalaria con nosotros, también fue muy accesible con los horarios y la comunicación bastante efectiva (tanto al responder los mensajes como de manera presencial); siempre tuvo mucha iniciativa para apoyarnos en cualquier inconveniente que tuviéramos incluso fuera de lo que ofrecía el alojamiento... Los paisajes y las vistas eran maravillosas desde cualquier ventana de la casa. Recomiendo ampliamente la estancia en ese lugar, ya que te encontrarás con excelentes anfitriones y una granja/casa hermosa ❤️

What a nice little gem. I came to Salt Spring for a pottery workshop and stayed at Jeanne’s place because I was hoping to get some kayaking in each day before my class started. Well the location couldn’t be beat for ease of access to the water, and I had some spectacular sunrise paddles either the seals, river otters, and herons. What a lovely place, and so well thought out. The interior has exactly what you need (the hot plate is a clever touch!) and there is plenty of outdoor seating. I plan to return next year!

Stayed here while visiting family in the area. Has everything you need. Very comfortable and clean. Loved walking the neighborhood and seeing sights from my childhood. Host was available and communicative to any needs we might have but everything was perfect and we didn't have any concerns. Would stay again.

We discovered that our reservation in Olympic national park was non existent and we found this place at the last minute. We were so happy we messed up our reservation because this place was perfect! It was extremely private, quiet, and just beautiful! Suzanne was so accommodating yet provided us with our privacy. We appreciated the great communication and attention to our silly little needs. All in all, we were so glad we found Suzanne’s Airbnb and we truly want to return. The listing made me think we would have to share the kitchen, but everything was private. The bed was extremely comfortable too!

Great apartment! Older building but it's been beautifully updated with lovely decor, as you can see in the photos. The kitchen was really well stocked - best I've seen. Jared has the Roku set up for easy use, and that was really appreciated. Easy walking distance to this lovely town. I would highly recommend Jared's place and plan to return in the future.

Sarella is an exceptional host. Catered to my every need and then some. Fresh fruit, muffins and toiletries and a fully stocked kitchen. I could not have asked for a more beautiful view. The sheets are THE softest I have ever slept on. Resident cat Handsome Harry is a doll and joined me for my morning coffee. Hands-down the best Air BNB I have ever stayed at. Thank you Sarella I enjoyed our evening chats!!!

Pat and Barbi have a wonderful finished loft. What a treat. Pat met us in the driveway and showed up the ropes to make things easy. Perfect spot for my daughter and I to crash for a ski weekend. They have a great sunroom for breakfast and relaxing as well. Closest thing to a Bed and Breakfast I've been to through AirBnB.

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa's place. The apartment was spacious and thoughtfully appointed with everything from snacks to spare toothpaste. The view of Mount Baker is perfectly framed from the picture window and the grounds and neighborhood are beautifully landscaped. The apartment itself is quiet and private and all appointments are high quality and in great condition. Lisa is very friendly and helpful with information about the surrounding area and activities.

Only issue I had was trying to figure out lock box: hold the button down on left while tilting silver part out. Although listing says there is no cable there is WiFi. I just assumed no cable meant no wifi so that was a plus. Lovely location and view and the bed was very comfortable. I traveled for knitting retreat and was only there for the evenings but would have been comfortable hanging out there during day as well.

Emma was so kind and friendly! Her place was beautiful and the surroundings just gorgeous. I loved my stay at her B&B! The hot tub was especially nice after a day out walking in nature. Checking in and out was a piece of cake easy! She answered all my questions and concerns in a very timely manner. Thank you, tremendously, Emma for making my stay so memorable, cozy and relaxing. I'll be back again for sure!

We had such an enjoyable stay at the 5 elements spa! The host was great, with a nice check-in where we were shown around the property and spa. He also gave us great local recommendations. A highlight was being able to use the sauna and the steam room located there ! We would highly recommend

We loved our stay with Walter and Joseph. I went with my friend Sheri to celebrate my birthday a few weeks late. It was great to wander and talk about plants (my gardener's heart!), dogs, and salamander eggs with our kind hosts. The house and grounds are beautiful, the dogs are sweet and goofy, and I almost made friends with shy dog Roberta. Plus- the breakfast each morning was fabulous! I'm already missing Joseph's biscuits and homemade jam, and it's just been since yesterday. Thank you, thank you, two! ~Valerie Walter and Joseph’s home was a wonderful place to stay. It was quite comfortable and clean, and their breakfast service was definitely an unexpected and delicious surprise. I especially appreciated their inclusion of my guide dog into their doggy family, allowing her to play and visit with their own dogs. The large fenced property was truly ideal for everyone to play safely and securely. I hope to return for another visit at some point. ~Sheri

Diane and Jim's place is such a lovely, clean, homey cabin in the woods with cozy decor and everything you could need! We cooked all of our meals in the airbnb and had all of the cookware and utensils we needed. The bed is really comfortable and so are the couches, which are perfect for curling up and reading. We loved the big window by the breakfast table which makes you feel like you're directly in nature. The place is easy to find and just a 5 minute drive from Ruckle park, which has a ton of great hiking trails and beaches to explore! Diane and Jim are really lovely and attentive hosts who helped us figure out logistics over the phone when we had trouble with the ferry over. This is a great place to stay :))

Doug’s place was absolutely wonderful! His place was spotless, he even provided milk, cereals, coffee, cream, and tea for our breakfast in the morning. The shower was amazing, the bed was very comfortable, and the fenced yard/garden was epic. One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at yet, and that’s saying something. Very private and quiet. Highly recommend!

The cabin was cozy and quiet and the hosts were so nice! Calvin is such a sweetheart and we all (including my dog) enjoyed his company. The view from the property was amazing and there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. With the location being so central, everything was nearby - close to restaurants, trails and more. Everything was exactly as pictured & we would love to come back.

I had such a lovely stay at the Cabbage! I came to Salt Spring needing a place where I could feel right at home, and was met with such warmth and kindness, I knew I had chosen the right spot. Michelle and Shaun were such gracious hosts, being super flexible, and checking in with my needs to make sure I was comfortable! I love where I live, so it takes a lot for me to say this, but it was a lovely getaway (I especially enjoyed the birds and blossoms and views while sitting on the porch). Highly recommend staying here for a weekend or longer! It was super close to town, which was so convenient for popping in and out, and I loved the location. I am extremely sound sensitive (I live in a cabin in the woods), so noticed the road traffic, but Michelle kindly offered me ear plugs to support. Otherwise, this was such a beautiful spot to land, take a nice bath to unwind, sip tea and eat the breakfast they provide on the porch, and take in all that Salt Spring has to offer. I will be back!
