From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

“Nuestra estancia fue excelente. El apartamento es tal como se muestra en las fotos, muy limpio, bien equipado y en una ubicación inmejorable, cerca de todo lo necesario para disfrutar de la ciudad. La comunicación con el anfitrión fue rápida y fluida en todo momento. En general, muy cómodo, aunque la cama del salón podría ser un poco más confortable. Aun así, nuestra experiencia fue muy positiva y sin duda lo recomendaríamos. ¡Gracias por todo!”

This is a great place to stay in Bologna, it was easy to walk in to the centre and to the train station. There is also a supermarket at the end of the road which is handy. The apartment is exactly as described and photos are a good reflection of the place. It has a well equipped kitchen and a good bathroom. There is some noise from the street but I guess there is little that can be done about that

There is no better place to stay than La Selvatica. It’s my 4th visit and I can’t stop coming back. It’s genuine, inviting, and just such a special place. If you want an authentic Italian experience this is the place.

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. We had a wonderful stay at this charming countryside cottage! The cottage itself is beautifully decorated, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the cozy living spaces to the fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace and sipping coffee while taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. The location was ideal for exploring the countryside, with plenty of scenic trails and quaint villages nearby. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We can't wait to return. Highly recommend!
