San Lucas Tolimán : locations de vacances avec accès à un lac

The place was simply stunning with breathtaking views. I absolutely loved how quiet the place was with private lake access. The host was very responsive and gave such great recommendations. Definitely recommend getting a rental car since it’s not right in town plus there’s a garage! I would love to come back.

Nicolás has worked hard to make his place wonderful and it shows. He is competing with other Airbnbs at lake atitlan and his place is a really good for the price. I hope he continues to improve the place. Loved the flower garden, the windows and the hammock. He is also a very kind and accommodating man and personally took us through the check in. He also helped us out with stuff we left behind.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

Truly a tranquil oasis. After 2 weeks in another Pueblo on the lake, we treated ourselves to a stay at Casa Valdes. The kids were in heaven in the pool. The kitchen was so well stocked for cooking. Beds incredibly comfortable. Waking up to bird songs out the beautiful windows with breathtaking vistas was heavenly. The walk to the dock to catch a boat ride was easy. Walking up the hill to Santa Cruz was steep but straightforward. Don’t miss a meal at CEPAC in Santa Cruz. The only considerations, which PJ & Stewart outlined very well, is that you must think ahead about meal planning as you are not an easy walk to buy street food easily. Plan to bring provisions (we opted to stock the fridge with fresh tortillas, avocados, lime & salt along with mangos and papayas and were in heaven); make arrangements for Dominga to cook (delicious!) or plan a walk up the hill to CEPAC or a reservation down the dock at iguana perdida. We loved our stay so much!

The Tree House at Robertos place was lovely. Fantastic views, great cabin, comfy bed and good amenities. Migel who looks after the cabana is really friendly and helpful. The Lake side garden is beautiful, a perfect place to relax in nature. I highly recommend staying here. ☀️🌳☀️

We loved our stay! The house was even more beautiful than the photos. Perfect spot to relax on the lake with amazing views, a hot tub, and gorgeous landscaping. We would book again in a heartbeat. A big highlight was having filtered water throughout the house, along with reverse osmosis water for drinking. It made it much easier to stay hydrated! Christopher was also a very helpful host, introducing us to a private boat contact and shuttle services back to Guatemala City.

We loved our stay! The hosts are very communicative and helpful. Check in instructions were clear and communicated well beforehand, and if any issues came up they were sorted immediately (we ran out of gas for the stove at one point, and it was fixed and replaced within 15 minutes!). The gardener was super nice and checked in on us regularly. The views are incredible and the house is comfortable. The wifi was strong and consistent for remote work. Definitely bring things from the supermarket prior to arrival so you don't have to boat back and forth. It's an eco house, so yes there are bugs, but nothing scary or that really impacted our experience. It's a really great spot if you're looking to escape!

Casita Piegatto is a beautiful place to stay. Immaculate views and interior as well. Alvaro and his team are amazing. They help bring your luggage and they can help arrange your rides and activities. Something to keep in mind is that there are stairs that you must climb from the docks to get to the airbnb. The only feed back for improvement would be to have A/C in more than 1 room.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was incredible. It was a short Tuk tuk up the hill. The town was not too crowded, but there were a couple restaurants to eat in the evening, which was nice! Would definitely stay again.

Stunning views and a quick walk to town! We didn't see better views of Lake Atitlan from any other place. It was a joy to relax in the house and take it all in! When we needed to get into town for groceries and to restaurants, we took a pleasant walk through local roads, always passing by a tuk tuk if we wanted a ride instead.

Desde el momento en que llegamos, el lugar nos hizo sentir como en casa. Nos sentimos tan cómodos que decidimos extender nuestra estadía un día más para seguir disfrutando de las amenidades del lugar y la vista de Panajachel. Silvia siempre estuvo pendiente de que tuviéramos todo lo que necesitábamos, lo que hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera aún más agradable. Sin duda, esperamos regresar pronto para seguir disfrutando de este rincón tan especial.

Clean, full kitchen (could be restocked with some salt, pepper and oil), nice garden area. The location was off the main strip, about a 7-10 minute walk, which we appreciated for quiet nights. We slept very well all three nights.

This has to be one of the best places to stay on the lake and one of my favorite Airbnb’s. The views and grounds are so stunning and well worth the price. Miguel and the staff were very responsive and helpful with everything. While Santa Cruz doesn’t have the shopping or street life of the other towns, there were some really great restaurants within walking distance and the ferries were easily accessible. Highly recommend!

I stayed here on glorious week and could have stayed another. The place was exactly as described and the rooftop deck/kitchen was an amazing place to work and chill. It was a 50 yard walk to the lake and only a 5-10 walk to the main tourist area. It’s also about as peaceful as San Pedro gets. Town has a party vibe so you will still hear music at night and the occasional dog barking but nothing that even cheap earplugs can’t handle.

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would! We had a lovely week at Mathew and Nancy’s place. Matthew was very easy to get a hold of but we didn’t need much - everything was organized so well and the casita was stocked with all the essentials. We loved our lazy days swimming and enjoying the view and how close we were to all the towns when we wanted to explore. The views are out of this world and the privacy the casita provides was wonderful. We’d love to come back again and would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Lago Atitlan!

This Airbnb is even more cozy and picturesque than the pictures in the listing. Bruce was so responsive from the start, and also connected us with his friend who shuttled our group from the lake for Antigua. There’s also a cool lighthouse in the Yacht club that you can walk down to and take private boats from. The only drawback was the location. San Lucas Toliman is less popular for tourists. To get to San Juan or Pedro you have to first take a boat to Panajachel, unless you pay extra for private boats. You’ll also want to start your days early and head back home by 3pm at the latest; the winds pick up and can make the water really choppy.

This is a truly spectacular oasis on the lake. The views are incredible and the property is so serene, surrounded by wonderful gardens and amazing bird watching. The casita is well appointed with most everything you might need. Also important to note that it’s in a remote part of Santa Cruz so you must trek to the village for any food / resources. But don’t let that deter you! It’s a spectacular retreat nestled in the hillside.

Our stay in San Marcos at Niel and Lilly's was amazing. The house was beautiful and the plant life surrounding it. I loved waking up and smelling flowers and basil in the air! Swimming right at the dock was perfect- crystal clear blue waters. We were able to book private boat transfer via Noel's suggestions to and from the house which was super helpful. Being able to walk right into the nature reserve was also great. As others have reviewed the walk up to town is not for the faint of heart haha. Lots of steep steps! After hiking a volcano it was a challenge, but we got used to it! Just be prepared :) Surrounding visitors will walk through the private dock area often and some may post up and be hanging out - just also be aware of this. All in all an amazing escape to Lake Atitlan and a perfect spot to stay for what we were looking for: a mix of adventure and relaxation.

Great property and great little house. The restaurant and facilities were perfect. Kayaking was the icing on the cake in the morning. Highly recommend.

The place is fantastic with a wonderful serene view that you get to enjoy every morning. Marcos is a great host and was very responsive to every thing we needed. The only issue we had was the hot water in the shower did not last very long at all. But other than that, it was a fantastic stay.

what a place! what a vacation! it's quiet, beautiful garden. the town is vibrant and exactly what we were looking for. There is not much to do in jaibalito, but it's perfect at the end of day of exploring other towns. Great food next door, friendly folks everywhere. We did feel conflicted about the gentrification of that side of the lake and our part in it. I was not impressed by the castles built by the ultra wealthy everywhere along the shoreline. I hope that jaibalito can keep it's peaceful charm.

Perfect place to stay in atitlan. Calm, beautiful views, lots of nature around, we loved it. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook food everyday if you want. We’ll definitely come back! Thanks Miriam for all the help 🙌🏼
