Gorgeous Lake Atitlán Getaway Beautiful, spacious home with unbeatable views of the lake and volcanoes. Miguel, the guardian, was wonderful, and the hosts were very responsive. Highly recommend arranging for a chef if available—nearby dining options are limited. Be aware the home is not accessible by car; it’s about a 10-minute uphill walk, so pack light! There are people to assist with carrying luggage up the hill. The trail to the home is not lit, so a headlamp or flashlight is necessary if you are walking at night. Not ideal for those with mobility issues, but perfect for anyone seeking peace, nature, and stunning scenery.

We loved our stay! The hosts are very communicative and helpful. Check in instructions were clear and communicated well beforehand, and if any issues came up they were sorted immediately (we ran out of gas for the stove at one point, and it was fixed and replaced within 15 minutes!). The gardener was super nice and checked in on us regularly. The views are incredible and the house is comfortable. The wifi was strong and consistent for remote work. Definitely bring things from the supermarket prior to arrival so you don't have to boat back and forth. It's an eco house, so yes there are bugs, but nothing scary or that really impacted our experience. It's a really great spot if you're looking to escape!

Very cute oasis! We loved relaxing in the garden with coffee and breakfast. The location was great- super walkable to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Wow! What a magical place to stay while visiting San Marcos. As many have mentioned, the views are phenomenal. The setup of the place balancing open air and cozy indoors does truly feel like a glamorous tree house. I'll never forget my showers overlooking the lake, and being awoken by the most gorgeous sunrises peeking in trough the windows. The community surrounding the house was lovely. The kitchen had everything I needed to make some good meals, and the bed was so comfortable I did not want to get up most mornings. This is THE place to book while here. Just be aware it is a bit of a steep incline walk so if you struggle with that you can take a tuk tuk up to the property. I walked everyday and found it to be excellent exercise to get my day going. Truly one of my favorite airbnb experiences.

Lugar hermoso con mucha paz, senderos, vistas hermosas a los volcanes y el bosque. Excelente atención, el desayuno puntual y rico. Muy amable y acogedor, nos encendieron la fogata, nos tomaron la foto grupal. Sin duda un excelente lugar para regresar.

The treehouse and the views are absolutely stunning. Rachel was super friendly and was available by text the whole time. She made sure everything went smoothly and was able to offer recommendations and insight into planning our day to day activities. A couple things to note. The place is quite remote, a 15 minute hike in the woods. For us that just meant packing a bag for the day and then coming home in the evenings and not leaving again. Jaibalito is tiny, so there really isn’t much reason to go back, but just something to note! That said, the space is so cozy and very pretty at night. Packs some snacks and drinks and have a nice night in. Another thing is that you have to walk outside and downstairs to go to the bathroom. Was a little spooky at night for us. The bedroom is on the top floor, so you have to take the spiral stairs down, then outside to go to the bathroom at night. We did see a couple of scorpions at night in the bathroom doorway, so take a flashlight with you.

El alojamiento es increíble, las fotos no le hacen justicia. Todo rodeado de naturaleza y muchas flores. El club donde se encuentra ubicado es maravilloso, tiene fácil acceso al lago, muchos senderos para caminar y ver los paisajes tan hermosos de atitlan y San Lucas Tolimán. Las amenidades son muy buenas, parrilla para asar carne, chimenea con madera para encender fogata, cocina equipada. las habitaciones muy cómodas, el concepto de la casa muy bello. En San Lucas Tolimán te desvías por un camino adoquinado y unos 10 minutos de terracería, Todo el complejo es con caminos de losa y piedra. Hay agua caliente y fría, también hay 2 tinas y 2 espacios para comer tanto adentro como en el jardín. Fácil acceso al lago por medio de escaleras y plataformas para admirar los paisajes. Daniel es muy atento en todo momento. Llevar todo lo necesario, ya que no hay tiendas tan cerca del lugar e incluso hay que ir al pueblo. Recomendaría este alojamiento 100%, estamos encantados y ansiosos de vover.

Es segunda vez que me hospedó acá, el lugar nunca decepciona. una casa bella mente decorada con mucho espacio para relajarse y pasarla bonito. la nueva piscina con jacuzzi está hermosa y relajante. la pasamos muy bien con la familia. gracias por la hospitalidad de su personal se siente uno como en casa.

What a lovely property! Perfect, restful space for 2 tired travelers. Close enough to walk into the city and boats, but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed the amenities as well!

My stay here was so refreshing! From the time I got to the Airbnb to the time I left, it was truly a peaceful experience. This Airbnb is in the perfect location to town hop and see all the surrounding towns, but to come back to a peaceful and calm stay. Nicholas and Jenny were amazing whenever I needed something (sauna, firewood, etc) and the location is also great because you right in the middle of a farm!! I love and hope to be able to come back for a longer stay!

Truly a tranquil oasis. After 2 weeks in another Pueblo on the lake, we treated ourselves to a stay at Casa Valdes. The kids were in heaven in the pool. The kitchen was so well stocked for cooking. Beds incredibly comfortable. Waking up to bird songs out the beautiful windows with breathtaking vistas was heavenly. The walk to the dock to catch a boat ride was easy. Walking up the hill to Santa Cruz was steep but straightforward. Don’t miss a meal at CEPAC in Santa Cruz. The only considerations, which PJ & Stewart outlined very well, is that you must think ahead about meal planning as you are not an easy walk to buy street food easily. Plan to bring provisions (we opted to stock the fridge with fresh tortillas, avocados, lime & salt along with mangos and papayas and were in heaven); make arrangements for Dominga to cook (delicious!) or plan a walk up the hill to CEPAC or a reservation down the dock at iguana perdida. We loved our stay so much!

Great property and great little house. The restaurant and facilities were perfect. Kayaking was the icing on the cake in the morning. Highly recommend.

Casita Piegatto is a beautiful place to stay. Immaculate views and interior as well. Alvaro and his team are amazing. They help bring your luggage and they can help arrange your rides and activities. Something to keep in mind is that there are stairs that you must climb from the docks to get to the airbnb. The only feed back for improvement would be to have A/C in more than 1 room.

Todo estuvo excelente. Muy bonito y tranquilo, tiene muchas amenidades. No dejen pasar el jacuzzi. Una experiencia muy linda frente a ese paisaje al atardecer. Queda muy cerca caminando al centro del pueblo. El restaurante de al lado es excelente. Carolina, la anfitriona siempre muy pendiente. Recomendadísimo este Airbnb.

En esta oportunidad visité a Carlos porque yo tenía un compromiso que atender, me pareció tan excelente el lugar que ahora regresaré nuevamente solo por ir a pasar el fin de semana a la cabaña. 100 puntos, totalmente recomendado y la ubicación del lugar es excelente, privado y rodeado de mucha naturaleza.

I truly enjoyed my stay and it was relatively smooth getting to Casa Sita. Terry was responsive to my messages and offered his area knowledge, which was much appreciated. I will be returning and staying at Casa Sita once the opportunity presents itself.

Cabaña acogedora, un ambiente natural y con hermosas vistas

The place was very nice, everything clean well put together, the kitchen came with alot of household items, coffee, cooking oil, plates , everything you would need.The view of the lake was beautiful, the outside little patio was a nice hangout spot for a coffee and to relax. Diego was very friendly, helpful and understanding. Responded quickly and had answers right away, provided us with transportation from the dock to the house and as our own little private tour guide around the lake. Very satisfied with the stay, do recommend to book with Diego and Oasis, definitely would come stay again! Thanks again Diego and Oasis for everything. Ask for Chema if your looking for some quick transportation around the area, very friendly, knows his way around.

We had the loveliest time staying at Duncan's place. It felt like our home away from home, complete with a beautiful garden and the sweetest pets. Both Duncan and Luciano were super responsive and accommodating. We had everything needed to relax and enjoy the area. The locals in Jaibalito are friendly and we had some great Guatemalan cuisine based on Duncan's recommendations. Overall 15 out of 10 and I highly recommend Duncan's place for anyone looking to experience living like a local.

A very spacious self catering place with an authentic homely feeling. Great location just 5 mins walk from lake with a partial view. Quiet and a lovely garden. Lucas the gardener will look after everything. Armand is responsive by message. We extended our stay to 5 nights.

Wonderful stay! Our dog was really happy to explore and jump in the water with us from the private dock. The house was really nice, the view was amazing, and the spot very quiet
