Nicholas and Mara’s listing was out of this world. I was heartbroken to leave. The trail to stay in the little cabin felt like a fairy tail, they even scattered little flowers for us. On top of the magical views, their lovely animals were so sweet. It was everything I had hoped for and more. It would be a DREAM to stay again.

Eldein is the perfect host, welcoming, friendly, easy to talk to, available to ask any questions or get any extra supplies. It felt like we were staying with a friend. His hospitality and generosity was truly heart-warming. One of us got sick during our stay and he went out of his way to help make us feel comfortable. This was our first time staying in Carlsbad and it’s a great location to explore the area all the way to San Diego. So many great places to visit and dine at in the area. His place was a great home away from home for our visit. Eldein’s place is located on a beautiful street, it feels safe and peaceful while being close to all the area’s attractions.

David and Luis thought of everything. The property makes you feel like you’re somewhere international. It’s beautiful and so very well thought out. The bed smelled of fresh clean linen and the amenities were so relaxing, we had a great time just staying at the property. David and Luis are so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back

This was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in! The cottage was clean and full of all the amenities you would want in a peaceful and private getaway. The decoration was well thought out for the small place, which made it super cozy and efficient. The host went above and beyond to explain everything, to give recommendations and to attend to small requests. I very much recommend this Airbnb for a couple looking for a quiet getaway that’s still close to San Diego and all the hiking and wine tasting you could ever want to do.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Micah’s beautiful waterfront retreat. The peacefulness of the place was exactly what I needed for a relaxing getaway. The home is spacious, bright, and filled with thoughtful touches that made my stay even more enjoyable. The views from the living area are breathtaking, and I spent hours just admiring the serene lake. Micah was an exceptional host—responsive, attentive, and always ready to help. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil escape!

This is an amazing spot! I highly recommend staying here. There’s so much to do nearby and at the property itself. During our stay we all kept commenting on how beautiful the property is, it’s like a private little oasis. We really enjoyed the little lake on the property. When visiting we spent most of our time at the Airbnb because of all it had to offer. If you’re looking for a place to stay in this general area look no further, this is the spot! Cody is a great host and I guarantee you’ll enjoy your time here.

Highly recommend Ryan’s place! The home was perfect for 2 families, with thoughtful touches for kids (and adults!) such as bathroom amenities, books and games, pool and water toys, even a lovely welcome snack! I also cannot emphasize how squeaky clean the home is, and the pictures do not do it justice at all! The neighborhood is quiet and we saw plenty of birds and wildlife, it was also an easy drive to Legoland, San Diego and the Safari Park. Staying here reminded me of a time when Airbnb was full of properties that were managed by local hosts/owners, spotlessly clean and full of personal touches vs. the mixed experiences you get when a property is managed by a large agency. Cannot wait to stay here again during my next visit to SD!

Gary was a very responsive and helpful host. The home was exactly as expected and the pool certainly didn't disappoint. Our family loved that all bedrooms had their own bathrooms which was great for privacy. Very kid friendly location with books/toys in a playroom, pool toys and even beach chairs and toys for an outing to the beach! I would highly recommend this location for your next vacation.

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The kids loved feeding all the animals, and the animals were so calming and wonderful to wake up to in the morning. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. The kids can’t wait to come back and feed the animals again. We will definitely be back to stay on this amazing property!
