The location is very private and peaceful. The cabin had everything we needed and very clean. The hot tub was fired up ready to go. Shyla (the neighbor’s dog) was a great companion. She was so sweet and guarded our little cabin. The location was easy to find and only about 5 minutes from town. Will definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at the Woodshed! A short drive from downtown Wimberley but away from the traffic. Really enjoyed the hot tub and even watched one of the many movies they provided. The mornings were spent with our coffee on the porch. All for a great price. Debbie was very detailed with both instructions and things to do and see! We will definitely come back!

We had a great stay! The kids loved the bunk beds and the pool. We loved evenings on the deck. Such a cool space. Perfect!

This was our third time to stay here. As always it’s secluded and quiet. Great amenities and decor. A very relaxing and peaceful getaway for our anniversary!

Myra and Colin were so chill and very accommodating for my girlfriends birthday. They put up banners, balloons and even wrote a message as well for her before entering the cabin....she loved everything. We had a tour of the property and fed the zebras, ostrich and donkeys throughout our stay....it was really cool and my girlfriend loves animals...especially, the exotics they had from the eland, wildebeest, oryx and the gazelles. This was a FANTASTIC birthday for my girlfriend and she really had a good time overall. 😊 Thank you very much, Myra and Colin for your hospitality.

I booked this cabin for my fiancés birthday. I was looking for a place where we could relax, enjoy nature, and feel far from the city and busy schedules. This place did not disappoint! We were able to spend quality time together while hanging out in the river or simply enjoying the ambience of the cabin and property. Bonus points for being pet friendly! I loved being able to include my Pebbles in our trip and adventures!

Everything was exactly as described and pictured and acted as a great hub for exploring the greater Austin area. The house feels very secluded as it is very far from the owner's main house and not within sight range. House was exceptionally clean and had everything that was needed, including a really nice shower with good water pressure and very hot water. We also appreciated the hand held shower attachment, as most Airbnb's do not have that in the shower. Highlights are the farm animals and the owner's dog (Shadow) who came to visit. Shadow is one of the friendliest and most intelligent dogs I have ever seen. We learned to be careful feeding the goats because there are two donkeys in the same pen and they are aggressive and kick the goats. We departed the house during a weekday morning rush hour and made it to the airport in 40 min which is a plus for the location. Traffic around Austin is extreme and I can't imagine trying to drive to the airport from north of Austin.

It is safe to say that our family has made Callie's cabin our favorite retreat. Just 20-minutes from our home in San Antonio, when we stay here we feel like we are completely alone with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We love that the cabin is always amazingly clean and well-maintained, yet we love that it feels older and is very rustic! Callie is always super communicative and extremely prompt in replying to any question or request. I probably ought to stop writing these reviews because we hope the calendar will never be too full ;-) as you can bet we'll keep coming back!

Julie’s place was great! It was a perfect place to get away with our pups, and it was close to Camp Lucy for a wedding we were attending. Would love to stay again!

Our stay at Heather's place was absolutely perfect! We stayed for three days and two nights. The area is very peaceful and beautiful. Heather was extremely accommodating which I truly appreciated. In addition to our wonderful stay she took the time to leave us a handwritten note to greet us and provided us with a delicious bottle of local wine. if you're looking for a wonderful place to stay, you most definitely want to stay here.

I just had the most wonderful experience! Everything was absolutely amazing, from the moment I arrived until the time I left. The space was not only clean but also tidy and incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. Honestly, it exceeded all my expectations in every way! The attention to detail and care taken in maintaining such a pristine environment truly made my stay feel special. I can't wait to come back again soon; it's become one of my favorite spots! We absolutely love staying at John and Marsha’s cabin! It is the perfect location to come and relax, visit local wineries and take in the beautiful Hill County. This was our second visit and cannot wait for our next one! Thank you both for your wonderful hospitality!

We had a great time at Carrie’s place. We had the whole area to ourselves and the view was very nice and peaceful.

This place is such a gem! The love and attention that went into building this cabin does not go unrecognized. The property is secluded and has the most spectacular hill country views! Getting to the house involves some “off-roading”, that with the right car is VERY fun! There’s a river crossing and some spiraling roads. We saw wild hogs, turkeys, deer, foxes, donkeys and critters on our weekend trip. Suzanne was an excellent host and was very responsive. I truly can’t wait to come back!

The cabin was beautiful, looked just like the pictures, perfect for families! Also, the cabin came fully stocked with everything you need, to cook and clean. Had some challenges with TV, streaming apps would go in and out having server connectivity issues but overall did not negatively impact our stay. The windows are huge and really allow for a great viewing experience, the fire pit and grill also are a great thing to have. Look forward to coming back, especially once the construction is fully complete, and amenities are available. Host Jacob, was very kind and responsive, the one thing I would recommend is that the shower water pressure and temperature be improved, I saw similar feedback in a review and was hoping it would be addressed prior to our stay but water pressure for hot water, was very low. Location was Amazing!! So close to H-E-B and other food places etc. My family and I would stay again in a heartbeat, really enjoyed our stay!!!

This little cabin was AMAZING! So cozy, temperature control was perfect, and the bath house was SO CLEAN!!! My husband and I appreciated how private the cabin felt despite there being others just a few yards away. We were also well stocked on snacks and water! 100% would stay again. The area was gorgeous, check in was easy, and we even got to watch a few deer adventure around the property. CANNOT RECCOMMEND ENOUGH.

This was the best weekend vaca for my husband and I. Quiet but close enough to Austin to go to a baseball game and go out. Only a 25 min drive. Super helpful host. Only recommendation would be don’t take a small car and reverse into the “driveway”. That was the easiest way for my husbands ford truck to get in and out.
