Nicolás has worked hard to make his place wonderful and it shows. He is competing with other Airbnbs at lake atitlan and his place is a really good for the price. I hope he continues to improve the place. Loved the flower garden, the windows and the hammock. He is also a very kind and accommodating man and personally took us through the check in. He also helped us out with stuff we left behind.

Nice place very comfortable and clean. located away from all the busy traffic, this place was relatively quiet and quite private. Well equiped, we loved the layout and modern kitchen. We highly recommend this beautiful place.

que dire...?? merveilleux séjour dans cette maison calme et spacieuse avec une vue top sur le lac et ses volcans. hôtes très reactives,,Miguel, l homme d entretien vient vous chercher sur l embarcadère pour vous accompagner lors de votre arrivée et réponds à toutes vos demandes..si vous parlez espagnol.. vous pouvez demander d avoir une personne qui cuisine pour vous. nous l avons fait pour le petit-déjeuner et le dîner. c'est très agréable..surtout que nous sommes restés une semaine..et que pour faire des courses il faut aller plutôt à panajachel. santa cruz est un village calme et agréable et bien situé pour visiter les autres endroits autour du lac. bref idéal pour nous..on conseille mille fois..

Wow. We felt right at home as soon as we pulled on the street in our 4 minute Tuk Tuk from the town center. Christian welcomed us warmly as family and showed us the house and even helped recommend things to do as well as food. The space is beautiful and homey. His wife made us some amazing home made bread as well. The place is big and the kitchen is well stocked with essentials. The rooftop is absolutely gorgeous and serene. We spent time reading and lounging on the hammocks during a rain storm and also during sunny afternoon. We also walked 5 minutes down to the beach to watch sunrise and chill. This was one of the best stays we’ve had so far in Guatemala. It’s truly special to be welcomed to a beautiful home like this. Thank you & we can’t wait to come back again !!

Great place in the heart of San Marcos. Clean and bright, will stay again.

Incredible place. The access to the main path around the lake and proximity to Santa Cruz is nice. There are more places to eat around here than I expected. I would love to stay here again. Do keep in mind: Santa Cruz is a very nature-y place and there is a possibility you’ll encounter spiders, mosquitoes and scorpions. We did, but had no problems with them during our stay.

Toli was a wonderful home base for two families traveling with kids. Two teen boys were in heaven walking out to play soccer daily and the pool was so wonderful. Guy was very responsive and friendly. Lots of great suggestions. He helped arrange a few meals to be cooked at the house and they were our favorite meals of the trip! The house was comfortable for all 9 of us and we hope to return soon!

This is a gorgeous air bnb. The host has thought of everything and was very responsive to questions. The caretakers are kind and helpful. Our kids loved the hot tub and all the outdoor spaces. Beautiful landscaping and the lake is breathtaking. I loved the open-air feel. We stayed three nights and wished we could stay longer, it was so comfortable and relaxing. Thank you so much, Ana! Everything went well and host was very responsive and helpful with any questions. The apartment is in the heart of the action so very walkable to everything.

I agree with all the previous reviews - can’t recommend Griselda and Antonio’s place high enough. San Pedro is loud ! And this is an oasis of calm yet walkable to the town and language school(s) we will defo be back.

Nos sentimos tan cómodos que decidimos extender nuestra estadía un día más para seguir disfrutando de las amenidades del lugar y la vista de Panajachel. Silvia siempre estuvo pendiente de que tuviéramos todo lo que necesitábamos, lo que hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera aún más agradable. Sin duda, esperamos regresar pronto para seguir disfrutando de este rincón tan especial.

Great little place to stay, the hosts were super responsive and helpful. something broke during our stay and they fixed it immediately. small but well equipped, the location is quiet and a 15 min walk to the centre, or 4 min tuktuk! can recommend

We had an absolutely amazing staying! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The host was incredible—one of the most helpful and kind people I’ve ever met. They provided clear instructions and always being available if we had any questions. Their hospitality truly made our experience even better. The location was perfect—convenient to everything we needed, yet peaceful and quiet at night. The bed was super comfortable, and all the amenities worked perfectly. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. If you’re considering booking this place, don’t hesitate—it’s truly a fantastic experience! We would love to stay here again in the future.

My stay at the Sacred Tree was an absolute dream. The grounds, casita, and views were gorgeous and relaxing. The people working at Sacred Tree made the trip special as they were welcoming, warm, and helped us with everything we could have possibly imagined. I must return to this very special place. The hospitality, tranquility, and delicious meals make this place a rare gem!

I believe that the restaurant on location is more than enough of a reason to stay at this location. There is a great selection of food and drinks with a friendly staff. Across the street, you'll find a nice pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and kayaks at your disposal. The little cabins offer that decompression you don't normally get from a basic hotel room. The shower drain was a little slow, but there was good hot water pressure and even a purified water tap. There was no TV in our cabin, but we weren't interested in that. The Wi-Fi speed was 12mbps, I believe. The property is covered in an assortment of flowers and plants that attract hummingbirds and butterflies etc. Only real complaint i have is the barking of dogs from neighboring properties. It can go on for hours, but closing windows and blinds helps to dampen the sound.

Der perfekte Ort, um die Seele ein wenig baumeln zu lassen. Die Lodge ist wunderschön, die Sauna super angenehm und der Pool im Anschluss eine Wohltat. Nicolas, der sich um das Airbnb kümmerte und darum, dass wir uns sicher fühlten sowie die Sauna vorbereitete, war unglaublich freundlich und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Wir haben meinen Geburtstag hier verbracht und man bereitete mir einen unglaublich schönen Empfang mit einem mit Ballons und Blumen geschmücktem Bett. Das war außerordentlich schön! Da Sonntag war, organisierte uns Dan Pizzen, die in die Lodge geliefert wurden. Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Service! Abends saßen wir noch lange auf der Terrasse und machten Feuer im Kamin an. Es war wunderschön! Wir können diesen traumhaften Ort nur weiterempfehlen!

Diego is a wonderful host who provided all we needed during our 5 day stay. the place was a perfect location to sit and just relax and enjoy nature and the lake. Highly recommended!

Amazing views, very nice and well-maintained place (as shown in photos). The walk to the Airbnb is more demanding than portrayed- it’s a steep, 15-20 minute uphill hike with narrow paths and large stairs. Hosts are friendly, helpful and quick to respond. The place is in an open area with no barriers other than the lock on the glass door. I felt a bit insecure at first thinking anyone could approach the place, but we didn’t have any security issues during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Ricardo & Davids. The hosts were very kind and helpful with everything we needed. The kayaks were awesome to use and the terrace overlooking the lake was amazing in the morning for yoga, chilling, and reading. The cabins are comfortable and cute. San Marcos is about a 30 minute walk which has all the shopping & restaurants you will want. Location is amazing in terms of accessibility (right by the dock + walking distance to San Marcos). Downsides: road is directly behind the cabins so you hear and feel every vehicle passing by (it slows down in the evening and in the night almost nothing). They are working on building up a stone wall behind the cabins though, to minimize the sound. Bathrooms are also located down the hill from the cabins. Kitchen is very very basic and shared with all cabins so keep that in mind. Tzununa has very little to offer, we can recommend pizza night at Love Probiotics on Friday nights. Otherwise go to San Marcos. :)

It is hard to find a place in this town where you can rent the entire house and have greenery around you. Casa limon was just such a place. The host took the time to explain all the rules and was extremely flexible and accomodating. Very good bohemian vibes. Be sure that you have transportation to and from the village. Jonathan is very familiar with the area and always responded to any questions we had. If you've ever gone camping, or you like how older homes often have unique details about them, then you will enjoy this place. It has a very similar vibe.
