I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning lakeside cabin in Colombia, and it was an unforgettable experience. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, offering picturesque views of the lake and mountains, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Inside, the cabin is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail is exceptional – from the rustic decor that complements the natural surroundings to the modern comforts like a fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and comfortable beds. The outdoor area is equally impressive. You can enjoy morning coffee on the deck overlooking the water, spend the day exploring the trails nearby, or relax in the hot tub as the sun sets over the mountains. There’s even a fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure that every aspect was perfect.

Mi familia y yo pasamos un excelente fin de año en el alojamiento. Muy seguro para los adultos mayores desplazarse, ideal para las mascotas, la vista excelente, muy tranquila la zona. La atención de el anfitrión maravillosa.

I had such an amazing stay that now the hosts and owners are like family. Every time I come to Columbia I will come to Guatape and stay at this villa. Place was spacious and clean. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful. We rode jet skis and sailed the lake, the weather was perfect and the host/family was always there when we needed anything they would go shopping for us and get things from the stores for us. And they even cooked food for us. Absolute 10/10.

Staying here was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were completely immersed in the beauty of the location & the eco-friendly design of the space. The outdoor showers were a highlight—there’s something magical about feeling so at one with nature while surrounded by stunning mountain views. We looked forward to the brisk walk up the mountain to the main kitchen every morning, not only was it invigorating but a great way to get our blood flowing for the day ahead. Anthony was the epitome of hospitality, always attentive & going above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. His cooking skills were out of this world—every meal was a treat, crafted with such care & flavor. It’s clear that Anthony and Darlene have poured their hearts into everything they have done here, & it truly made the experience unforgettable. This place is more than just a stay—it’s a little slice of heaven. If you’re lucky enough to visit, prepare to feel at home while being worlds apart!

We rented the finca for my birthday party, 12 people invited. Some guests said it was the most fun they had in years! We really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. There is a lot of space outside to sit down, chill, eat, etc. We did not spend much time inside except for sleeping, but the kitchen-living space is large and modern. The main room is amazingly large, the other rooms have quite enough space too! The finca is only a few hundred feet away from the road where all the buses between Medellin and Barbosa run, instructions from the host were really clear, he gave us the contact of a delivery service so we did not run out of anything ;) The view on the mountains is breathtaking. Totally recommended.
