Ideal fora three generation family get together. There was plenty of space for ten people plus a dog. The house was well equipped. Being able to walk to the town centre was a big plus as it meant it was easy for everyone to get around. We loved the amazing views of the bay even if that meant a steep walk up to the house. We appreciated having longer check in and check outs as that gave us more flexibility. Clear instructions from Jenny about parking etc.

Absolutely stunning house of beautiful size and location- so much history and love within the walls. All communication was handled very quickly and easily. Can’t recommend Mandalay highly enough!

We had great 2 nights here! The house was great, welcoming, clean and well equipped. A lot of great restaurants were just few minutes walk distances and the beach as well, like 10minutes far. Daryna was very friendly, kind and helpful, responded quickly to my messages. Next time we come to Bournemouth, we will stay here again! Thank you very much🤗

We were a multigenerational family group , including young grandchildren, wanting a nice relaxing holiday by the seaside, with things to do for everyone. The Gate House was exactly what we needed, with lots of room and excellent facilities! We had shared time and privacy with large communal living and dining space and a lovely enclosed safe garden and outdoor dining facilities. We knew the area but the recommended dining options were excellent. Great beers from The Bus, excellent wood fire pizzas from the beach pop up, great burgers by Fat Shaun and a Greek takeaway from the Piano bar.,with Sunset drinks in The Albion. An easy short walk to the beach, which though a bit pebbly was an ideal location on the sunny days for family fun, with Sandcastles. The sea was good for paddling, jumping and swimming and easy access to the cafe for drinks and ice creams. Sam and Simon were excellent hosts and we have no problem in recommending this fantastic holiday venue and hosts!

Our third visit to this very comfortable and immaculately kept house. The location is very peaceful and quiet with splendid views over the Solent: a constantly changing seascape. Yarmouth, and its ferry terminal, is only 5 minutes away, Tesco in Freshwater less than 10, and since the island is a major holiday destination eateries of all description abound. Many of them are dog-friendly too. The property itself is on four levels, with stairs to each, and there are also steps in the garden which cannot easily be avoided in order to access the house, so anyone with significant mobility issues could find it challenging.

Fabulous accomodation. really thoughtfully furnished, cosy and immaculately clean. Loved the sustainable eco friendly product usage. Handy parking space and amenities available on the parade downstairs. Loved watching the waves from the bed! Overall a relaxing short break and would definitely stay again.

Lovely little place in an ideal location. Beautiful decoration & appliances. Gorgeous little terrace/decking. Excellent communication with host. Nice & clean. Very comfortable bed. Sofa would benefit from a throw or cover as it looks a bit tired, but is also v comfy.

We have just returned from a relaxing 3 days over New Year 2024 to 2025. Ideal size for 3 couples with a bathroom for each couple. Living area was great with a nice modern open plan kitchen living and dining area. Cooking facilities were very good with modern appliances which made catering for our group very easy. Main fridge freezer was complemented by a separate wine cooler All the bedrooms were of a good size as were the beds with the exception of the double in the 3rd bedroom which felt small ( we have a super king at home so it may have just been an adjustment to that ) We stayed close to the house and ate at the Lake Yard which is 5 mins walk away. Whilst it is a members club we were able to book a meal which was subject to a 20% non members price increase. We ate at The Yachtsman on NYE. Luke the host was very responsive and helpful answering any queries quicker than advised and we all appreciated the welcome basket. Good trip had by all

Lovely holiday home, lots of attention and care at this accommodation. The beds were super comfy and the sheets were lovely and soft. The lodge has everything you need and more. Also great location as Mudeford is just around the corner and great club house on site to keep kids entertained. We all had a great stay including the dog. Thank you.

Outstanding. Sums up our stay in Julie and Paul’s property. Throughout the booking process Julie has kept in contact. A brilliant host and her description of her property was spot on. It was certainly a joy to stay here. The previous reviews were all positive and rightly so. My wife Tracy and me wholeheartedly agree. We will most certainly request to stay here again in 2025. We had a fab stay at Marks static home, It is located in a nice spot on the campsite with parking right outside, Lovely large decking area, good quality furniture, the home is nicely decorated with good quality soft furnishings and bedding, the kitchen is well equipped and spacious, Mark was very good at communicating and happy to answer any of our questions , the campsite Was nice and quiet and well kept grounds, well enclosed dog exercising field, great child and adult evening entertainment would definitely recommend Mark static home 😁.

We had a lovely stay in Dan’s caravan. We used the swimming and clubhouse and both were great.

Such a lovely, comfortable and well equipped caravan. Has everything you need. The additional extras such as biscuits, tea, coffee were greatly received. Beds very comfy and power showers nice and hot! Excellent stay all round!!!

Our extended family had a super time together at Richard's gorgeous house. It's a really characterful place and such a versatile space for a big group. Richard really has thought of everything; from the plentiful beach towels to the fully stocked kitchen. A first class rental.

The house was fantastic for a group visit, perfect for a hen party. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. The hot tub was incredible and a massive plus to our stay. We could all go in it at once. The kitchen diner space was amazing for socialising. Being so close to the beach and local restaurants was amazing. The host was always responsive and super helpful. Clean, comfortable and spacious - the house more than catered for all the needs of the three generations of our family during our stay. Any questions/queries we had were quickly answered by the host. Would definitely recommend .... its location makes it a brilliant base to get out and about and explore the New Forest and the coast.

We had a great stay at Belinda’s place. The house is welcoming and just a short walk to the beach. The location is unbeatable for the quieter Bournemouth beaches. Belinda and Matthew checked us in and shared some great tips to make our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the open-plan downstairs and garden area provided a great space for our 4 year old and baby. Belinda was very warm and quick to respond to our queries both before and during our stay. Thank you!

This was the best place we’ve stayed at using AirBnB. As it was Sarah’s home we immediately felt comfortable. The decor was very cool and to our kind of taste. We arrived after dark and the garden was all lit up with lights and looked so inviting. The beds were clean and very comfy. Hopefully it will be available when we next visit.

We had a FANTASTIC time! A beautifully decorated place with modern features- it was the perfect stay for our weekend get-away! We loved the serene and modern aesthetics of the home, the comfortable beds, spacious rooms and beautiful bathrooms! It looks exactly like it is in the pictures but is much bigger and very spacious! Also- this home is very close to the beach which is a huge plus! We had a great time staying here and hope to come visit in the future!
