Monika was a brilliant host, the house was as described and very clean and well appointed. Excellent location for public transport and many excellent eateries to choose from. We stayed for two weeks and felt very at home.

Really great use of space. The 2 double bedrooms suited us perfect. Very usable kitchen and great sized bathroom for the footprint. Love the use of the vaulted celling to allow light in to give a feeling of space. Well thought out. Would recommend and would definitely stay again. Eling is a gorgeous little place also. Perfect for a jump off point into the New Forest with plenty of local amenities. Wish you all the very best going forward with your little business. Thank you very much.

I rather loved my stay here in Southsea, opposite Ravelin Park, and close to so many attractions. Portsmouth Museum is just across the road, the seaside about 10 mins walk, the Historic Dockyard and gunwharf not much further. The apartment itself had all facilities and appliances anyone might want. It was clean, warm and fairly quiet, considering the busy traffic. The wifi, telly worked fine. I prefer the lockbox for the key too. All in all, quite perfect. I would happily stay there again.

Such a lovely stay and beautiful accommodation. Mandy and Michael were very responsive and answered all the questions I had. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the area :)

We had a great stay at this property. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable and has a wonderful view from the living area. It is great to walk straight out on to the beach and we had some wonderful walks with our dog. The area itself lacks a nice centre but we had some good pub lunches in the surrounding area.

Very nice apartment and well placed for going to Brockenhurst via walking and Lyndhurst by car. And was great to watch the local football team which was nice to experience

Cosy little place. Had a great stay, comfy beds! Loved the painting on the building; made it very easy to find 😅. Mark was very responsive and helpful. Immediately replies to messages. Only issue was the lack of cutlery in the property. Unless of course it was there and we just couldn't find it. Would stay again.

I cannot recommend this find enough! Beyond 5 stars if we could! From answering questions before we booked, to supporting us through the ferry booking, and then our arrival, Sonia was always there with an extremely fast response! When we arrived at the flat, there was a generous welcome hamper of goodies (and extra treats in the mouse house for our little girl which she was so excited about)! The flat was pristine and had a great selection of kitchen cookware and utensils. There were also lots of books (we now have to buy some moomintroll books for our house!) and some games to play as well. Great location in easy access of all the places we went to visit (zoo, dinosaur isle, donkey sanctuary, beach). We were a family of 4 with a 3 year old and a 10 month old and the space was truly perfect. We’ll be back! Thank you Sonia!

We stayed just one night. Our stay was just a stop when leaving the boat so we didn’t spend much Time but we did enjoy it. It was absolutely cleaned. We were impressed by the size of the leaving room. We didn’t expect it would be that big. The communication with the host was excellent.

Had an incredible stay. The house is stunning with amazing views of the sea from the lovely living area and upstairs bedroom. Beth left us eggs, butter, bread and orange juice which was a lovely touch.

If you are thinking about starting an Airbnb, Mary’s place is a great example of how to do things right. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and to be honest I wouldn’t change a thing. Mary was pro-active, friendly and helpful and gave me clear instructions as to how to access the place, where to park etc. I have already booked for later this year and will find myself in the same area next year; I will be back!

James was good at communicating, and left clear instructions for everything. He also met us on arrival. The bungalow was as per the description and photos (please note that bed 3-twin room has drawer clothes storage but no hanging space). It's clean, light and airy. The bungalow was in a quiet location and yet close to amenities and a short walk to the beach. We had 3 cars between us and were easily able to fit them on the driveway. We would happily return!" I can't think of anything else that any potential guest would need to know above the information on Airbnb and reviews already left.

Julia, was a very helpful and responsive host and I felt at ease with my booking. The house was lovely and a great location for a family long weekend get away. Had a long weekend with the family and it was a great base. The apartment was clean, comfy and had a well equipped kitchen with a large fridge which was great as we had multiple family groups that all bought lots of food. The main house is fabulous to look at and we could appreciate it's beauty. The pool was beautiful too, warm and relaxing...although personally we would have rather paid more at booking and the access be bookable but included in the price but understand this wouldn't suit everybody. There was lots of outdoor seating, garden games, ping pong and a large chess game and small climbing frame which were welcomed touches. We were left to our own devices despite the building being connected to home owners which we appreciated. Our only criticism was there are signs put out to show private garden areas but with dogs and children this can be a bit harder to control so some clearer boundaries might be more helpful for future guests. Thank you for having us!

A wonderful 4 days away over Christmas, with family and dogs. The beach was within walking distance and it was a pleasure to go walking there with the family. We were there over. Christmas and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking our Christmas lunch. Esther was very welcoming and replied very promptly to the one question that we did have for her regarding the property. We would rent the property again, it was lovely and well equipped, but the best thing about t was the access to the beach. Thanks Esther

Way beyond expectations - we felt like we could've had a holiday based here rather than just stopping a couple of nights. Patsy was communicative and helpful, the place is so thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented, and the location couldn't be better. The best stay we've had on the island, no doubt.

Lovely flat with terrace and views. Comfortable and clean. Easy parking and great base for visiting the island. Short walk into old Shanklin downhill.

Carolyn, myself and mally the labrador had a great week , very peaceful, sitting on the patio watching the ships sail past. Bryce was very helpful, and lives on site , if a problem was to arise. The accommodation was spacious spotless and well equipped.

Danke für die ausgezeichnete Unterkunft. Die nahe Lage zum Hafen mit allen möglichen öffentlichen Verkehrsanbindungen, ließen eine schnelle und unkomplizierte Fahrt in alle Richtungen zu. Durch die besondere Lage, war auch die Anfahrt mit dem Auto kein Problem und man konnte schnell und ohne Verzögerungen von A nach B kommen. Auch wenn ein kleiner Einkauf notwendig ist, findet man in in mittelbarer Nähe einen kleinen Einkaufsladen, der auch Brötchen anbietet. Durch die super Interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten schon allein in Portsmouth, hat uns die eine Woche längst nicht ausgereicht. Die Unterkunft selbst ließ keine Wünsche offen und der Aufenthalt war super schön und sehr angenehm. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder.

We had a great weekend stay at Roman's Retreat. The flat is in a private road with a partial sea view. It is well located on the south coast of Hayling Island. We had great weather so were able to walk along the sea front with ease. On our first night we ate out in one of the local pubs, there were two very close by with other dining options. In the morning we nipped out to the convenience store (around the corner) and grabbed a coffee from one of the many coffee shops. The place has two spacious bedrooms and a large living room with two sofas. Everything you need for a couple or family of four. The bathroom and kitchen appear to be newly refurbished and therefore spotlessly clean. It's a first floor flat which benefits from a small balcony which I sat out on taking in the late September afternoon sun. We parked right outside in the private road which felt safe and secure. It's a great place for a visit to Hayling Island. Louise was a great host, very responsive. Thanks!

Number 22 is a beautifully presented holiday home which Fiona has clearly put a lot of thought and effort into with lovely little touches everywhere. Emsworth itself is a relaxed coastal town with the amenities a mere stroll away and is a great centre for heading out into the surrounding areas. It pays to be organised when planning your parking but there is plenty available even on a busy school holiday weekend. All in all very highly recommended.

Apartment is amazing - spotlessly clean, great location. Photos don't really do it justice. Highly recommended - we all had a fabulous time
