When I first pulled up, I was surprised to see it was an apartment honestly, but the inside was so nice and very spacious. The host is super responsive and it was overall super smooth to stay here!

We had a great stay with a lot of help from Mimi! She gave great recommendations and helpful tips on her website and the book in the apartment. She was very descriptive with explaining everything we needed to know and the place was very cool and welcoming! There were many surprise amenities for us to enjoy like sugar, creamer, and a hair dryer! As well as lots of extra blankets and pillows! We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to everyone! It was a great birthday trip!

This is a great place to stay if you're in Sandusky. Well-situated if you're going to Cedar Point, Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, or any of the major tourist destinations in Sandusky. The location has all of the things you need for a visit. And the Atari arcade game is a great touch! I dare you to try to beat my high score in Rolling Thunder :)

Our family stayed for three nights and we enjoyed our stay very much. The location to restaurants was convenient. The ability to bring our dog and walk around the parks on the shoreline was relaxing. Our kids enjoyed playing the Sandusky themed monopoly game and the arcade.

Great stay at Doug and his his hosts . Used while out of town for work and was a relaxing retreat at end of day. Beautiful lake view 50ft from front door. Peaceful, quiet neighborhood . Great mattresses were specifically worth noting. Would like to return during warmer months.

Place was very nice, SUPER spacious, clean, up to date and comfortable. My family loved it!

We booked The Locke Nest for our extended family for a birthday celebration weekend. We had 4 generations there and everyone had the best time! There is plenty of space to spread out and the home is just beautiful! We especially loved the "ship" bar area and the garage/rec room. Bert responded to every question right away and was very friendly. He was also extremely flexible with booking when we had a family emergency and had to rearrange plans. It was a very special weekend and we would definitely return!
