The accommodation was spot on, private, peaceful and had everything we needed. The outlook was priceless we spent a lot of time on the deck admiring the views.

Very well set up place, modern furniture, tastefully done all round, peaceful and private, just what we were after over Xmas! The host communicated really well throughout booking, checking in etc, and even left some amazing treats for us on arrival! Yum 😋 I will be recommending to friends for sure, could not fault at all! This Airbnb is located just 25 minutes from Hobart. It’s an ideal location with waterfront views from the bedrooms and kitchen , the deck is perfect for breakfast and the beds are super comfortable with fresh linen. Water pressure is great and it has two bathrooms for convenience. The house is two story which allows you to access the yard and walk down to the private beach , which is stunning at sunrise and sunset . The house has bikes and kayaks for activities and is very comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere and child friendly. It has everything you need to cook and the local shops are close by , so you don’t need to travel far . Will definitely be back with the family again to stay . Migissi

We were traveling as a family group of ten and this house accommodated us so well. The location is so beautiful and we loved exploring the local region and then coming home to wander the beach each evening. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive and helpful

Fabulous views and 70’s style charm! Gorgeous location near the water, rolling mountains and everything you need inside the house, a home away from home. The hosts were amazing and very accommodating! Wish I booked an extra night.. I would go back again..

We loved our few days at Lucy’s! We were lucky to score some hot weather which had us swimming at beautiful Carlton beach (between the flags) each day! It was so nice coming home to Lucy’s and relaxing in the comfort of the air con and ceiling fans, after beautiful hot showers. Our kids just loved the space, the house feels very spacious and cosy at the same time! Many spots to retreat to, read, movie, play and a very decent yard space too! The kitchen was amazing to prepare meals in! Bonus was the breville coffee machine. We would so love to come back and stay longer next time! Such a great base to many hotspots!

Claire’s cottage on the beach was a beautiful hidden gem. Only a 30 min drive to the centre of Hobart, meant it was the perfect place to relax as a base point, and then go on wonderful day trips from there. Watching the sun rise over the water each morning was spectacular and the evening skies on dusk were just as stunning. The coffee machine produced incredible coffee, and the bottle of Tassie champagne was a lovely surprise! The bed was comfy and the shower was amazing! Thanks Claire for sharing your beautiful beach home with us. Hoping we can make it back again one day!

Second time here so clearly enjoy staying in this lovely home and area in Tassie. The view is fantastic and the house is well thought out with all you need and immaculately clean. Do love a large smart TV ! Lovely courtyard and gardens including the landscaping down to the water. Went for some day trips and also walks in the area along the shoreline/beach, However, the serenity and views was best enjoyed for a relaxing stay. James is very responsive in his communications. Everything was clean and tidy. All you could possibly need was in the kitchen. The view from the balcony was amazing. We already knew the area so were happy to return. One suggestion could be a number on the gate. Especially for people arriving in the dark. One thing we were shocked about was booking for 2 weeks and not being able to find any spare sheets or pillowcases to change the bed. Apart from that, thank you for letting us stay in your place Jim and Sue

host able to accommodate early check in even though it was requested last minute. after 10+ hours flight and layover in between, an early check in of 1-2 hours also matters! place is nice, good kitchen and space that can easily house 3 small families. house insulation may be the only thing that can improve but sufficient heaters provided so it isn't too much of an issue. Pep pizza, a nice playground and a woolsworth is less about 10mins drive away while Hobart is a easy 20-30minsndrive so i'd say it's quite a convenient place!

Deborah was an incredible super host. Communication was great right from the initial booking. Going the extra mile her home was welcoming with fresh bread, nibbles and chocolates - what more do you need! The beachfront location was breathtaking and spacious to accommodate for all the guests. We spent 5 nights here on our honeymoon and it was beautiful. The views were unbeatable, the bathroom very luxurious, and the amenities generous. The hot tub is preheated so was delightful to jump in and watch the sunset colours over the water. The apartment was cozy and the perfect size for 2 people, and very easy to keep warm. Highly recommend.

A fantastic location right on the beach. The interiors are tastefully decorated with a well-designed layout, plenty of areas to chill out, and ample storage space for a longer term stay. We also enjoyed the selection of books and magazines. There’s a fabulous jacuzzi bathtub in the master bathroom, and it was so relaxing to go for walks on the beach and fall asleep to the rhythmic sound of waves. It’s well worth stopping at a larger supermarket before you get there to stock up with any food or other supplies you might need, so you can maximise your peaceful and relaxing stay.

This home could not be in a more beautiful place. Exactly what I needed. Bj was excellent to communicate with and the home was as described. I definitely hope to be back. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Beyond amazing. Beautiful location and siting of the building. Wonderful framed views. Beautiful sunlight. Lots of seating. Comfortable beds. We saw an echidna, pademelon and quoll on the property. We took lovely walks and watched the changing weather from the windows. Our stay was an unforgettable experience.
