The moment we entered the Casa, we knew this place was extra special. We were greeted with a hand written note welcoming us in addition to one of the most beautiful cakes we have ever eaten. The property was private while at the same time hidden within Criollo's restaurant grounds, so eating at the restaurant was just a few steps outside our door. The Casa pictures do not do this property justice. And there's snacks, waters, towels thoughtfully and strategically placed where you need it. The steam shower was absolute bliss, and the courtyard plunge pool and hammock was a nice area to hideaway and decompress.

Tuvimos una estancia muy cómoda y placentera. Nos sentimos como en casa todo el tiempo. Los anfitriones nos atendieron de maravilla, siempre muy amables y cordiales. Se encuentra bien ubicado a unos 10-15 min del centro en automóvil.

Fue exactamente igual a las fotos, estaba impresionante. El lugar fue divertido cómodo amplio, tenía detalles como la calidad del jabón y todo equipado para la estancia, muy divertido y la anfitriona siempre estuvo pendiente resolviendo mis preguntas

Gigi’s place was absolutely spotless and matched the description. It is in a quiet suburb of Oaxaca which was nice to come back to after a busy day. We were comfortable and felt very safe. Gigi was an excellent hostess who was proactive and responsive. She went out of her way to be helpful to us and checked in from time to time to make sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We would recommend Gigi’s place to other travellers.

An amazing time in Oaxaca! Our rental felt like home and the team did a great job taking care of anything we needed. Eunice quickly responded to all of our questions and requests. The garden especially was such a beautiful place to spend time. Great for dodging the afternoon heat or quiet mornings before our adventures for the day.

el lugar es tranquilo y cómodo realmente a 20 min del centro de Oaxaca, solo son 100 metros de terracería antes de llegar pero un sedan pasa sin problema la casa es muy grande y alberca privada.

I can honestly say this is by far the BEST place we've ever stayed! A 5-star rating doesn't even come close to capturing the excellence of our experience, the house, and the hosts. From the moment we booked until the moment we checked out, everything was seamless and incredible. Rodolfo is an exceptional host—always communicative, kind, and genuinely friendly. Although we didn't get to meet him in person, his nephew, Alejandro, was there to assist us and made sure we felt right at home with his outstanding hospitality. The house exceeded all our expectations—it was absolutely spotless, cozy, and perfectly suited for a relaxing getaway. The location couldn't have been better; we were able to walk to every place we wanted to visit, plus discover plenty of charming spots just around the corner. There are no words that can fully express how amazing Rodolfo, Alejandro, the house, and the city of Oaxaca were. We've already encouraged our friends to visit and stay here. We will come back!

Marina’s place. Even though it was a big place just for us (my husband and I) the house itself makes you feel at home. From the decor to the furniture. Clean and spacious. The shower has a decent water pressure which it can be a problem in Mexico. The house does not have AC but each room has a fan and you can open the windows to let the air in. The view from the porch it’s amazing. There’s a small tv room on the second floor that’s where we spent our evenings watching tv. Marina went above and beyond to make sure we experienced Oaxaca to the max. From restaurants, to what plates to try to experience the Moles, places to shop hand made tapestry, what places to visit and where to eat along the way, we definitely were exhausted but grateful to experience the culture, the museums, the food, the history as much as we could thanks to Marina. She’s been the best host we’ve ever had, and the house was like I said home away from home. We’re so grateful and definitely stay there again!

Irma’s home was the perfect home base for me for my few days in Oaxaca. The courtyard is gorgeous and the location is incredible, with lots of cafes, restaurants, banks, and convenience stores nearby. It’s walking distance to everything in the city!

Beautiful home with great indoor/outdoor living. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, great location for walking to shops, restaurants, and Oaxaca attractions. A bit loud at times. It was not the fault of the Airbnb, but one evening a nearby alarm sounded from 2am til 9am and it was horribly loud. Because of the open roof, sound seemed to travel right in. Cleaning services were great. Beware that there is a neighborhood cat who likes to stop by and there were lizards on the ceilings most evenings. Wonderful, friendly accommodating hosts. Really loved this beautiful home and the courtyard atrium.

Una casa muy bonita y cómoda, muy segura ubicada en una zona tranquila con todos los servicios que ofrece, muy cerca de tiendas de auto servicio, y a 15 minutos del centro de la ciudad en auto.

We absolutely LOVED Fer's place! It is such a beautiful space, with every detail thought out, and tons of local art adorning the house. The indoor/outdoor common areas were really lovely. The roof deck is awesome especially once the heat of the day has passed. The giant kitchen table was totally inspiring in inviting. The beds were incredibly comfortable! Having A/C units in each room was a total dream. The area is awesome, lots of tacos and mezcal around, and a quick walk to Centro, 10-12 minutes or so. Next time we come to Oaxaca, we will be staying here again! Thank you Fer!

Stunning property. We spent two weeks at Barbara’s place and really enjoyed it. The pictures really don’t do it justice. We loved hanging out in the beautiful screened in pergola with our coffee or wine. I even did some remote work out there. It does take 25-30 minutes to drive into Oaxaca city. Jhonny the caretaker is a doll and available for anything you need.

Fue una estancia muy agradable en todos los sentidos, la casa tiene todo lo necesario y cumple con lo que ofrece. Es una zona muy tranquila y segura, las instrucciones siempre fueron claras y el anfitrión muy amable en todo momento, definitivamente volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí.

Travelled with my husband and 7mo baby. We booked this place super last minute as a second AirBnb unit while in Oaxaca because our first space did not work out for our baby. The house is spacious, clean, looked exactly like the photos. It actually had 3 bedrooms, one smaller room with an ensuite bathroom on the third floor. The rooftop patio was beautiful and shaded- we spent most of our afternoons there instead of walking around because of our baby. The unit also had drinking water spout which a lot of Mexican airbnbs don’t have. Location was fantastic, in Centro but also felt private. The best thing about this Airbnb was the host, olivia. She’s absolutely stellar; responded within the hour, incredibly helpful with recommendations and service. We got our drinking water jug replaced within a day, she organized us a taxi to the airport- just incredible. A/C in bedrooms were a saving grace. Only complaint is pesky neighbouring dogs that barked at night. Also included crib and baby tub!

Ximena's place felt like staying at a friend's beloved home.There's a relaxed, comfy vibe, as shown in the photos, but actually being there, is hard to find words for. It's just very special. Both my friend and I cherished our time there. Some words of advice, pack in your favorite foods, coffee, granola, there's only a small bodega down the road, and frankly once you've landed, you won't wanna leave. The first night Jhonny gave us the name of a wonderful local woman who on relatively short notice prepared us a lovely, healthy meal. Or, venture out to the small restaurant in the village. We ate delicious quesadillas made with fresh tortillas. On hikes, we were told to carry a stick to deter dogs. We never used them but good advice for anyone walking on country roads in Mexico. The dogs we saw were sun sleeping in the middle of the roads. Like I said, it's a good relaxing spot. We loved using the washing machine and hanging our clothes out to dry. We got emotional leaving.

La casa está muy bonita, el vecindario es muy tranquilo y caminando al centro hicimos aprox 30 min, un camino muy agradable. Hay servicios cerca y la limpieza excelente. Diana es muy amable y atenta a lo que necesites, sin duda la recomiendo y regresaría en otra ocasión

Nos agradó el lugar, muy seguro y amplio para estacionar el auto 🚘 sin problema de dejarlo estacionado afuera. Cerca de la ciudad de Oaxaca, y del Tule. Muchas gracias Gema

Alojamiento cómodo y agradable, el Sr muy antento y flexible, Buena ubicación y bonito lugar.

La casa es tal cual se muestra en las fotos, es muy cómoda , tiene todas las facilidades para niños pequeños, se ubica en zona muy tranquila, no hay ruido para descansar después de días ajetreados, está cerca de supermercados y cremerías, cuenta con cochera y patio de servicio. La comunicación con Lucy fue inmediata.Sin duda regresaremos.

Fue una estancia muy agradable la Sra Alejandra estuvo muy pendiente de nosotros desde antes de nuestra llegada, todo fue excelente sin dudarlo volvería a hospedarme aquí.
