We had a great time at the Villa and would highly recommend it. The hosts gave lots of helpful advice and were available whenever I had a question. They were very generous hosts, proactively offering us early check-in and providing a home that was full of everything we needed, such as lots of towels and robes, blankets and pillows. The house is an easy walk to river access or downtown Guerneville, in a quiet wooded setting without traffic or neighbor noise. House amenities like the hot tub and grill were top quality. The river was too high for us to use them, but the house also came with a very impressive number of kayaks, canoes and paddles. It was great for a Misty spring retreat, but would be an amazing summer spot too!

We loved our stay at Sycamore House! The home and grounds were comfortable and charming, perfect for our group. We would love to stay here again!

Three lifelong friends and I spent four nights at this beautiful home and we had the best time! The house was exactly as pictured and more. The hot tub and fireplaces were so wonderful and we made use of the game room and balcony. Nancy was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We loved getting out and seeing Sonoma but really couldn’t wait to return to this home to unwind each day. Highly recommend!

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. Vikki made sure all accommodations and amenities were in place. We enjoyed and we will stay there again and highly recommend her. The space was excellent.

A great trip! We were having a "moms weekend" away from the kiddos and felt very comfortable to relax, soak in the hot tub, and cook food in a great well-stocked kitchen. The kitchenware was high-quality, great cabinet of spices, and didn't at all feel like an empty rental. We also appreciated how many kids books and toys were available even without our kids there. Books for grown ups, too! And it was a nice treat to have a car charger.

Large enough to accommodate our family get together ages 4 to 68 and Ozy the dog. Ocean view, heated spa, many board games & card games. Table tennis was a hit.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stace's retreat! The peaceful surroundings made for the perfect little getaway, and we loved being so close to the Russian River. The house had everything we could possibly need—well-stocked amenities, super comfortable beds, and even fun games to enjoy together. One of the highlights was definitely the fantastic hot tub, where we could relax under the towering trees. Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up for a perfect stay. Thank you for hosting us—we can’t wait to come back!

This was the perfect location for exploring the Sonoma area. Petaluma itself is a charming town, and Greg's place is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood that allows easy access to everyplace but feels private. The home has everything visitors could want--without unnecessary distractions--and was comfortable and super-clean. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, access to the washer/dryer after a muddy hike, and the beautiful landscaping. This was an A+ stay for sure, and Greg was helpful and responsive with any questions we had. Thank you!

The Carriage House was a hidden gem. After three nights at a hotel for a conference, this was the perfect place for peace, tranquility and beautiful surrounds. Speaking with Tom was a joy and he had many good recommendations. The Carriage House is a perfect set up for one person and I felt as though I had a magical “she-shed”. Highly recommend!!

Wow, just wow! To sit on your private porch overlooking the valley while the sunsets with a glass of wine,m is simply beautiful. A morning cup of coffee watching the birds enjoy the beautiful landscaping. Peaceful and serene. Easy access to Sonoma for excellent wine choices. The comprehensive travelers guide was helpful in planning our time. The well appointed kitchen made meal prep easy as we rarely eat out. The bed was so comfy! Would highly recommend to anyone! One of the best vacation rentals ever!

We absolutely loved Jan’s Airbnb! From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. Everything was beautiful and comfortable. One of the highlights was going in the hot tub, which was squeaky clean out on the deck. Jan was so thoughtful and left an umbrella out for us and even ordered more coffee when we ran out. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything is perfect. The guest guide provide completed information. We change our plan to the Hood mountain instead of the coast far away because the recommendation in the guide book looks worth it! Oh there is one exception: I could not find the barn cat 🤣. We stayed for one night and walk around the property before checking out. It is a quiet neighborhood. There is a pump sound in the bathroom while using it, as described in the guest guide book, and it is acceptable. Thank Javier and Christine’s warm welcoming!

This location is as described, perfect for two. Beautiful space in a quiet neighborhood within walkable distance of the downtown Napa area where you can explore restaurants, wine, and a local farmers market before you spend your time in the valley exploring the vineyards and wineries there. Quite an excellent location.

We had a great stay in Sarah's cabin. The space was comfortable and had everything we needed for a peaceful long weekend. The cabin and back porch are setup well and felt very private despite having neighboring cabins on adjacent properties. Views of the Redwoods and Russian river from the porch or through beautiful windows are amazing. The pictures really didn't do justice to the impressiveness of the Redwoods right off the back porch! Check-in and out were easy and we had no problems during our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Let me start by saying that the next time my wife and I head to wine country, we're hoping to stay in Jeanne's cabin again. For us, it was the perfect location. The description in the listing is completely accurate, but it's hard to really appreciate how nice the place is without seeing it for yourself. It was beyond our expectations. Comfortable, quiet, peaceful and just really beautiful. Jeanne is a terrific host. Responsive, helpful, sensitive to the needs of her guests and a pleasure to talk to. We walked to the cafe that is essentially next door every morning for coffee and something for breakfast before heading out for the day. If our plans were in downtown Sonoma, we took advantage of the fact that it is an easy walk from the cabin. The location was also great for excursions further out to Napa and the surrounding area. Best of all, was returning to such a great place at the end of the day where you could just relax. It was awesome. Thanks, Jeanne!

This was our second time staying at The Hideout, and it was just as magical as the first! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The space is exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell a lot of care went into making it feel like a home away from home. The location is perfect, with easy access to nature and nearby gems. And Aggie is an incredible host—so kind and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and inviting place to stay, we can’t recommend The Hideout enough. We’ll definitely be back again!

Loved our stay. The house was immaculate and the decor was charming, very comfortable and homey, and it was peaceful and private but within walking distance to town, exactly what we were looking for. Hosts were very communicative and offered us both early check in and late check out unprompted. We would be delighted to stay again.

This is an amazing place to stay! First of all, 1/3 acre in Monte Rio, fully FENCED, and next to a CREEK, is rare. Our senior dog LOVED it! Lorri thought of everything. From the dog towel, to the instructions on how to start and operate the fire pit and grill. It was all so inviting. The house-book is a must-read. We were greeted with chocolate chip and walnut cookies which were wonderful to snack on after a nearly 4 hour drive. Sweet Creek is EXTREMELY pet friendly but you still have to be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pets and the basic things like dry their feet off and drape any furniture with sheets if they lay down on them. The picture board of animals who've stayed there, and the wonderful binder full of thank you notes was just so touching. We felt like we were staying at a friends house, not airbnb. We can't say enough with the character count left. Sweet Creek is a must! We will RETURN!

Fantastic getaway. It is so beautiful and peaceful. Great quaint getaway. Ton of care went into the design and maintenance of the house. If staying with more than 2 people, I will note that the loft sits on slats so the noise between the loft and bedroom is not dampened. Would stay again!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. We did a small vacation in Sonoma and this place absolutely made our vacation. Diana was an amazing host and gave amazing recommendations on where to go. The cabin was picturesque and peaceful with a great view of the little stream. The kitchen had everything we needed and the outdoor shower was amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub every night and it was so nice being out in nature while being so close to everything. We will be back for sure!

Our family of three had a very relaxing stay at Otis’s place. It was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. Flexible check-in was especially appreciated for our little one who was eager to hit up the river. The kayaks and inflatables were so much fun! We used the kitchen and bbq for most meals with no issues. Making s’mores with the propane fire pit under the fairy lights was magical. We appreciated the proactive communication and very clear instructions for the cabin. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Thanks, Otis!
