This review is actually from my husband (we booked his stay through my Airbnb account): My second stay here with just a 2 day break in between, 7+ weeks in all at Amy’s and Edgar’s. Lovely people. Very welcoming. Everything I needed to be comfortable and functional - including remote work situation - and great hiking just outside the door, during a particularly stressful period in my life.

A lovely place to stay. I enjoyed the charming patio upon arrival in the mild late afternoon sunshine. The apartment itself is perfect. Everything well arranged and organized and clean. And charming, and cozy.

Bright, natural light. Clean. Peaceful. Private outside area. Host communicates well and is accessible. Easy walk to downtown. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

I've stayed here now a couple times, once with my wife (couples trip) and this visit just myself (visiting friends). Both time Sage was awesome! Great communication and very friendly. The Sauna was a good detox in the morning.

Oh my gosh, this was a last minute booking for us on our once a year trip south from Oregon and this spot is likely to be one of the high high points of our road trip. We were planned to get in after 10pm and really wanted to get a soak in before passing out after a long drive and Elizabeth was so kind to welcome us to use the hot tub under the stars - it was an incredible experience. And there were frogs nearby adding to the ambiance.. really no better outcome after a longgg drive. Then there’s the bed, they got. It. Right. It’s so comfortable with all the right pillows. It feels incredibly private and the energy is just peaceful. If you have any doubt on booking this spot don’t just do it you’ll thank yourself. There’s also a sauna and cold plunge that we didn’t take advantage of, but the setting is just incredible up there. They really put a lot of love and thought into the space. This will be a mainstay among our stopovers to the Bay.

The decor and layout were thoughtfully arranged for comfort, and the bed and pillows were incredibly cozy — some of the best sleep I’ve had in a while. Perfect for a “just bring your suitcase” kind of stay. Tony was responsive, helpful, and clearly invested in creating a welcoming, relaxing getaway. Whether you’re exploring Armstrong Redwoods, heading into town, or just relaxing in the trees, this place is a gem. Highly recommend for a peaceful, nature-adjacent escape.

Johana’s cabin is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. It matches the description perfectly—no surprises, just exactly what you'd hope for. She clearly has an eye for detail, and the place is thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need. Highly recommend!

Had a great stay in Sonoma, we had a fantastic time! Having a washer and dryer made the difference. Full kitchen and all of the wine amenities - big bonus as well! Easy 3 min drive to local shops, bars and restaurants. Not forgetting sweet Ethel - pup! Would highly recommend and look forward to our return.

The Treehouse has become a sanctuary and home away from home for me. Beautifully nestled into the most serene part of Marin, the exceptional design of the space highlight and bring the dazzling outside in. Debbie and John’s incredible energy adds to the specialness of this property and make me excited to return soon in the future!

We loved staying here! It was clean, our hosts were friendly and responsive! The house was easy to find and had everything we needed. Perfect retreat to end our day! Delicious oranges, beautiful patio, comfortable bed! Very nice functional kitchen with stove, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, and everything!

Had a great stay at Joseph and Fernanda's listing. Fernanda welcomed us with a bag of chocolates which was very nice. She answered all of our questions and gave us a lot of local recommendations and tips. The place itself was very clean and beautiful. Massage chair, jacuzzi, and pool were all a very nice bonus. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

Debra's cottage was magical! Peaceful, beautiful and extremely comfortable. I went for a writing retreat and it was perfect. And Debra is such a lovely, thoughtful and warm person. A wonderful stay all around.

Our second stay at Fred’s place. Well maintained and squeaky clean. Comfortable bedding. Beautiful large bathroom with heated floor and heated toilet seat. A few minutes drive from Orinda Village with grocery store, shops and restaurants. Extremely responsive host. Hope to return in future.

Where to begin... This little jewel was a breathtaking retreat that I hold dear to my heart! It’s definitely in my top 5 best short stay rentals. The host has tremendous respect for her guests' privacy. Getting there can be tricky, as there’s very little space for two vehicles on the steep hill, but the adrenaline rush is absolutely worth it! Beautiful deer greet you at the entrance, which was such a special sight. This is a place I will definitely return to in the coming years. Thank you, Vicky, for creating unforgettable memories for your guests!

Had an awesome time. It was perfect for what I needed. The hosts were always there if you had questions. I loved the area. The hikes near by, the shopping in Albany, the awesome organic grocery stores to choose from, Sprouts, Berkeley Bowl, Andronicos. The unit itself felt bigger than it was due to the layout. Great hot water pressure, awesome and big shower. It’s basement studio so was a bit cold, but with space heaters it was fine. Awesome kitchen to cook real meals in. Cute little things left for new guests. Private backyard of your own. Laundry too if you need it. Would most definitely stay here again.
