What a lovely stay! We really enjoyed making a fire and cooking by the river. Such an awesome location and only a mile from the Nantahala Outdoor Center. I’d highly recommend Donnie’s stay to anyone looking for a private get away in the mountains. We will definitely stay again.

Mrs. Dottie was wonderful. Her and Mr. Don were beyond friendly and made us feel right at home. The apartment looks just as the pictures show. A new unit. Super clean. (We are very particular people and this place was one of the cleanest ever). We Will definitely be back the next time we stay in Townsend. A wonderful place to spend my 50th birthday. Airbnb review We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this creekside cottage. The host was easy to communicate with, responding promptly to all our queries and ensuring a smooth check-in process. The cottage itself was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed, highlighting the owners’ attention to detail. From toiletries to kitchen utensils, nothing was overlooked. Would definitely stay here again!

Becky’s place is beautiful and impeccably clean! She was extremely responsive as well. My husband and our fur children had a wonderful time. The view alone is worth a million bucks! Will definitely be back here in the future 😊

It was the perfect place for a family gathering after Christmas at one of our favorite places. Only wished we could have stayed longer. We’d stay there again.

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

My family of 5 really enjoyed our time in the mountains! Randy accurately shared directions (the lack of GPS) and photos. I was surprised at how stocked the kitchen was with pots/pans, utensils, dishware, etc. There was so much more there than was listed. We did use the grill (thanks to whomever left some propane!) but struggled with keeping it lit. My husband is the grill master and he didn’t seem to mind so that doesn’t reflect negatively on my review. We were fully prepared to be without directions, as others mentioned in their reviews, but we had no problem finding the private road or home. The private road is long, dirt/gravel and some spots have ruts. My big ol’ SUV struggled here and there but nothing that made us feel unsafe. We did attempt to have a fire (thanks to whomever left some wood!!) but learned there was a burn ban at the time. Definitely check that before you burn! Overall, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed exploring such a beautiful area. Randy is an awesome host

From the moment we put in our reservation Bobby and Dina made us feel so very welcomed. We truly enjoyed our stay at their beautiful home on the river. The peace and tranquility of the home made it a much needed getaway. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area. Bobby and Dina were super responsive to any requests we had and made some super recommendations of things in the surrounding are. We rode up on motorcycles and the drive in and driveway were very accessible for us to navigate and park. we will definitely be making this our usual place to stay when we're in the area.

We all had a great time, house was exactly as we anticipated. Would highly recommend it to all, and would consider going again. Lock box was however hard to open.

This was our 3rd stay at Chuck’s place, different unit this time. As with our previous stays, everything was clean, comfortable and worked properly. We love the coziness the condos offer while still having plenty of room for our family! The balcony is so peaceful and the sounds of the river make you forget you’re right off the main road. We look forward to our next visit and will stay here again without a doubt.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Gatlinburg vacation. The condo was in a great location and walkable to downtown, and the trolleys were easy to use when we didn’t want to walk. The creek beside the condo was so peaceful and we even saw bears just right down the street. Parking was easy and the pool was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay. Centrally located to lots of great restaurants, attractions and grocery stores. Loved sitting out back listening to the birds and the creek below. Very private and peaceful. Super clean with lots of extra nice touches. Check out Anakeesta, beautiful park and incredible Mountain views.

It is exactly what is advertised. We loved the location as it was only 1.8 miles from the farthest part of the Gatlinburg strip. Definitely worth the price just in savings in parking. It was very quiet and peaceful.

It was our second time to stay here. Quiet, not all the hustle and bustle. Easy to get to attractions when you want to.

We loved it! The place was very clean, beds quite comfortable, and the location was awesome in regards to Gatlinburg downtown - walking distance. The creek running behind it was a nice, peaceful, serene bonus.

Wonderful condo about 3/4 mile up the hill from Parkway. Easy access to Gatlinburg, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Pigeon Forge. Very clean and just as advertised.
