The house and property far exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect setting for a quiet escape with a 20 min drive to spectacular beaches and lovely towns. The hosts were great. Pureza was very kind and extremely respectful of our privacy. We felt there was an optimal balance between hospitality and discretion. The house has all necessary amenities including BBQ which we took full advantage of. Besides the pool, there were many spots to relax in the outdoor area. We highly recommend it!

Uma ótima casa para se estar em família! A casa é muito boa e muito bem equipada, com todos as tools necessárias para se passar uma boa semana de férias! Ambiente calmo e com praias fantásticas a meia hora! Só digo para terem atenção ao calor durante o dia e noite, precisando de arejar muito o quarto para se ter uma boa noite descansada!

We had a great stay, the house is fantastic and host was excellent with communication. The location is stunning and pool was perfect. It was about 20 mins to the beaches and town, brilliant mix of options with Malhao waves perfect for the kids to body board and surf and jump around in, with the river beach a lovely spot to paddle board. One thing we didn’t clock out we the main bedroom is accessed solely but separate patio door, I think the translation was not so explicit and we missed that, but it was fine the children had a sofa bed. Highly recommend for a relaxing holiday.

A casa estava impecável, limpa, a maquina de lavar loiça foi muito util. A casa era bonita e próxima da praia. A comunicação com o proprietário foi sempre rápida.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette charmante maison située en pleine campagne. Le cadre est paisible et parfait pour se ressourcer. La maison est spacieuse, propre et bien équipée, offrant tout le confort nécessaire. Helena a été une hôte exceptionnelle, très accueillante et réactive à nos besoins tout au long du séjour. Si vous cherchez un endroit pour vous détendre au calme, je recommande vivement cette maison. Merci encore, Helena, pour cette belle expérience !

My partner Thomas and I have just returned home after having spent a memorable holiday at Loïc and Walter's home in the beautiful hills of Alentejo. It was a wonderful week spending time there, relaxing and enjoying the homes different spaces. We loved its authenticity, rustic feel and eclectic furnishings. The kitchen was very well stocked, so it was great to cook and enjoy a few meals inside and outside. A short path down the hill from the home leads to a beautiful pool, which has a very private feel to it. It was our first trip to Portugal so it was fun to explore some of the little towns and a few of the stunning beaches – all were very close. We did have a few unexpected situations arise – both hosts were very responsive and did their best to quickly resolve them. Thomas and I would love to come back again and will highly recommend this home to friends. Thank you!

La communication avec Rodrigo a été fluide et réactive. L’ appartement est meublé avec beaucoup de goût et de simplicité. Le balcon est un plus qui nous a permis de prendre le petit déjeuner et de bénéficier de la vue extra ordinaire chaque matin. Les sentiers de randonnées et la plage au pied de la maison ont fait notre bonheur !

The apartment is well appointed and situated close to all amenities with 5 supermarkets within walking distance as well as a pharmacy, a covered market and post office. Diogo was a very responsive host and was always available if we needed anything. The welcome gift of a bottle of wine, some bread and cheese was much appreciated. We were there in January and the apartment was quite cold. Using the fan heaters provided was sufficient for us but we were only 2 people. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 week stay, shopping and eating locally, in nearby Indian and Asian restaurants. But our favourite was Os Galletos steakhouse, where we ate several times - very good value for money. There are 2 nice cafés in the nearby park. The apartment is close to some beautiful beaches, especially the Lagoa de St Andre with walks around the lagoon. There is a very nice little beach café there with reasonably priced food. We recommend it and would definitely stay there again. Thank you Diogo!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez joyce et Marcel, des hôtes empathiques, bienveillants, extrêmement accueillants Le logement est situé dans une maison rénovée par le propriétaire, il se trouve au premier étage et au rez-de-chaussée habitent les hôtes, nous ne les avons jamais entendus, ils sont extrêmement discrets et respectueux, nous avons échangés plusieurs fois et ils sont d’une gentillesse incroyable, nous reviendrons très certainement Merci à vous deux de nous avoir rendu notre séjour inoubliable

Excelente alojamiento, con todas las comodidades para 3 personas. Muy bien ubicado para conocer la zona del Alentejo portugués. Sin duda, volvería.

Estuvimos muy agusto, la zona tranquila y hay que coger coche para todo, hay un camino de 1.800km para la . Hay un super en la urbanización, carillo, la casa muy cómoda pero hay que renovar cosas, los mosquitos son inebitables pero aún así un 9 sobre 10. Ivo super atento, repetiremos experiencia para ver más sitios

Wonderful stay! Place was impeccably clean and well situated to walk to the local beaches and restaurants. All essentials provided in case you did not pack them for the trip. Also, 3 separate A/C units allowed us to adjust the bedrooms and living room temperatures to suit everyone’s taste. Really peaceful…we only wish our stay was longer.

Annabel met us with the key and instructions and her natural charm and enthusiasm. She is proud of her home and she shares that love. Very cosy, convenient, perfectly located with sunset ocean view right out the window. No balcony but who needs one with a huge outdoors on the doorstep and chairs that can be set up a few metres away on the clifftop. Wonderful town with a welcoming and happy community. Oh - and best of all. Easy parking - right outside.

Gostamos muito da localização, com fácil estacionamento e numa zona calma. A estadia correu muito bem, o apartamento era espaçoso e muito agradável, nada a apontar.

La estancia ha sido perfecta. Susana no ha podido ser mejor anfitriona. La casa es pequeña pero ofrecía todas las comodidades que buscábamos. Sin duda repetiríamos.

Das Appartement ist prima. Schön sauber und der kleine Garten ist wunderbar, mit direktem Ausgang aus der Küche, toll zum Frühstücken und Essen. Sehr gute Lage, Strände, Supermarkt, Cafés, Restaurants gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Markthalle und anliegend sehr nette Café/Bar in 2 Minuten Entfernung. Verbessern ließe sich eigentlich nur die Ausstattung: Es ist etwas zu wenig Geschirr da, um die Spülmaschine wirklich effektiv nutzen zu können. Und wenn man nicht alles vor Ort kaufen möchte, sollte man sich ein paar Dinge mitbringen, eigentlich alles, was man so benötigt und man nicht unbedingt in zu großen Portionen vor Ort kaufen möchte: Gewürze, Öl, Spültabs (ich glaube: zwei waren vorhanden), Waschmittel (dito), evtl. Klopapier, Kaffee (vier "Delta-Kapseln" waren vorhanden, lecker, - nicht Nespressokompatibel). Evtl. einen Mehrfachstecker (es sind nur wenige Steckdosen vorhanden, man muss öfter umstecken - nicht ganz so tragisch). Bettlaken war etwas klein. Insgesamt aber empfehlenswert!
