São Martinho : chambres d'hôtel

Le logement proposé par Elisa, une maison de caractère, est idéalement situé à une dizaine de minutes à pied de la vieille ville et à une bonne vingtaine de minutes à pied du port. Tout est facilement accessible (curiosités touristiques, points de restauration). La chambre du premier étage était très agréable (lits confortables, fenêtre sur les cours). La communication avec Elisa était fluide. Elle nous a donné des recommandations et a répondu rapidement à toutes nos questions. Merci beaucoup Elisa !!

The MoRe Guesthouse is a lovely place in Machico. All rooms are beautifully designed and each has it's own characteristic theme. Ruben, the owner, is a really nice and helpful guy with awesome tips of what to do and where to go. Hopefully we will find the time to visit this place again!

Très belle maison, chambres spacieuses et confortables. Personnel très sympa.

Anna's hotel was a very nice place to stay. Breakfast with a 5-star view included, and incredible service. We enjoyed the food and slept well, even though it was a very cold week. The view from the hotelroom to the mountains and see is beautiful. All in all, for the price you pay you get everything you need, plus the knowledge and kindness of Anna. Thank you! We will be back ;)

really nice peaceful place in the mountains. the decor in the room is a little dated but everything worked and was clean. Anna is a fantastic host with a lot of great recommendations of what to do. also the restaurant across the road serves delicious food at a reasonable price. It's nice to have it so close to spend an evening when in such a rural location.

The view is stunning, the hotel is very nice, the staff is friendly, the bed is super comfortable, the bathroom is great and the A/C worked perfectly. Can only recommend!

Die Unterkunft war genau wie auf den Bildern. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt und sauber. Das Highlight der Unterkunft ist der Pool mit dem schönen Ausblick direkt auf das Meer. Jorge und Rosa haben immer sehr schnell auf unsere Nachrichten geantwortet und uns Tipps für die Umgebung/Ausflüge gegeben. Wir konnten früher als angegeben einchecken und es verlief alles reibungslos. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen☺️

Our stay with Yves and Julie was excellent. The rooms, house and garden were beautifully presented and maintained. It was a real treat to stay in such a place. Our hosts were fantastic. Welcoming and considerate, they made us feel right at home and were very attentive to our needs. The breakfast Yves served us each morning was a real treat, we just wished we had the appetite to finish it all! I can’t recommend our hosts and their house highly enough.

Es war ein sehr angenehmer und erholsamer Aufenthalt. Dieter u Sabine sind sehr entspannte und großzügige Gastgeber, stehen mit Tips zur Seite und lieben, was sie tun. Das merkt man jede Sekunde. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Aussicht vom Balkon ein Traum!

We had three fantastic weeks at this beautiful hideaway. The flat was not modern, but it was so clean and cozy, and the view is superb. The rooms are of good size, and the beds is quite comfortable with soft pillows. The pool is big enough to get some laps done, and had a gorgeous view over Funchal. The staff made us feel welcome, and they were so helpful. We felt safe and we’ll taken care of. We like to walk, so we walked back up from the city everyday, but a taxi is only 5 euros🤓 We are coming back for sure🎉

We chose accommodation in Villa Maria Quinta, which is located in a quiet village, because we don't like the hustle and bustle of the city. Once you get used to the very steep and narrow island roads, it's easy to get with car to any part of Madeira from here. There are numerous hiking trails nearby, as well as a sandy beach. Also nearby are many restaurants with delicious dishes. Funchal is only 36 km away. The villa is very nicely decorated and has everything you need. It is excellent accommodation for larger groups because it has 6 separate cottages-apartments for a total of 12 people.

Super hôtel avec une vue imprenable, très arrangeant et sympathique. Petit bonus du parking privé à l'intérieur de la propriété. Je recommande cet hôtel !!

Outsite is a perfect choice for a week off in Ponta do Sol, Madeira. The room (for 2 people) was a bit small but with all the necessaries and the view from the balcony is amazing. You can eat well in the restaurants nearby, wash your clothes, go hiking and go to the beach to get a tan. Elisa, the community member and other guests were very friendly. I recommend it 👌🏼

Die Lage und das Haus sind einfach traumhaft. Sehr gediegen und schön, Sehr großes Wohn-Esszimmer, das jederzeit benutzt werden kann, die größte Küche, die ich bisher gesehen habe, und man darf auch hinein, ebenfalls auch die Terrasse mit wunderbarem Blick über den Pool auf den Atlantik und auf Funchal. Yves und Julie machen das wirklich sehr gut. Wenn die privaten Zimmer etwas größer wären, wäre es sicher kein Fehler, aber sogar das eigene Bad war großzügig. Schön, wenn man morgens mit Blick durch wandhohe Glasflächen auf den glitzernden Atlantik blicken kann.

Pakoj nie duży ale zupełnie wystarczał szczególnie że hostel znajduje się blisko centrum Funchal. Miła atmosfera, pomocna i miła obsługa.

Tolle Lage, alles wie beschrieben. Und der Blick aus dem Zimmer. Einfach grandios. Das Frühstück war auch der Kracher. Ich komme definitiv wieder. Sehr zu empfehlen!

I had a great stay. The property was exactly as described and matched the photos perfectly. The bed was spacious, and the pillows were incredibly comfortable, which made for a restful sleep. The entire space was very clean, and the peaceful location added to the charm. A special mention to Javier, who was extremely responsive and easy to reach if I needed anything - his attentiveness made the experience even better. The only consideration is that you’ll need a vehicle to make the most of your stay, especially if you plan to visit Funchal frequently. That aside, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely consider returning if I visit the area again!

Staying here was super nice, everything was as described. Catarina was helping me to know details about Madeira even before I came to the accomodation (and after of course), she replies very fast. In my room I found a gift: a packet of cookies and something to make coffee. I did not use it because I had no time to drink coffee, I was exploring the stunning Madeira 18 hours per day (but I ate the cookies though 😂).
