São Miguel Island : locations de maisons de vacances

Our stay was perfect for enjoying the peace & serenity of the ocean while still being close enough to explore the island. The house in Maia provided an ideal location—the drive to almost everything within 30 minutes. The island of Sao Miguel is breathtaking! Every area is so different from another, the Nordeste waterfalls, to the hot springs in Furnas, & the craters of Sete Cidades and of course the ocean views from so many outlooks & the best from this airbnb! The Airbnb was exactly as shown in the pictures, well-equipped with everything we needed. Though it was too cold in March to swim in the ocean or the pool, falling asleep to the sound of the waves and enjoying the view of Maia’s lights was magical. One tip: Maia is a quiet town, & during our visit in March, dining out on weekends wasn’t an option—all the restaurants were closed. As advised, shop for groceries on your way. We did and had dinner in 5 out of 6 nights. Sara was the perfect host! We highly recommend Eirinhas!

Carolina et Pedro sont des hôtes d'exception. Des gens hyper sympathiques, disponibles, flexibles; leur accueil a fait parti de notre expérience positive chez eux. Le logement était juste parfait: spacieux, propre, confortable, bien équipé, superbe, exactement comme sur les photos. Leur guide pour explorer l'île était super bien fait et utile. Je pense dire sans me tromper qu'il s'agit du meilleur des nombreux logements que j'ai loué sur airbnb. Tout était parfait, bananes exquises et plantation d'ananas sur place en prime ! Je reviendrai certainement ici si je reviens un jour à Sao Miguel :) Merci Carolina et Pedro !

Stunning home with incredible location and view, highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at Jose's. We were two families, four young kids and it was the perfect setup for us. We liked the location, as it wasn't downtown so it was quiet and had a good backyard for the kids, a pool, and a beautiful view! It was also easy to get to other parts of the island from. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook in. After being at the house for 5 days, a crew came and changed the linens and cleaned the house! We mostly communicated with Tomas, who checked us in and Joana. Both were lovely and very helpful! They were also extremely accommodating with check in/check-out! We were able to check in early which was critical for the kids after a redeye and they let us check out later than the normal check-out time. We highly recommend this house for future guest!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft. Sie liegt in ruhiger Umgebung mit schönem Ausblick aufs Meer. Ganz besonders toll ist der Infinitypool und die Lagerfeuerstelle. Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet und beinhaltet alles, was man zu einem Urlaub braucht. Bei Problemen waren die Ansprechpersonen innerhalb von wenigen Minuten erreichbar und antworteten sehr freundlich. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen!

Das Haus und der Garten sind liebevoll gepflegt und wunderschön. Helena+ Felix waren perfekte Gastgeber und haben uns in unseren 3 Wochen Aufenthalt mit selbstgemachte Kuchen, frischen Obst usw. verwöhnt. Gerne würde ich mehr als 5 Punkte vergeben.

My family and I stayed for a week, they left and then friends joined me for a week - so 2 weeks in all. The pool was cool (it was january) but some did try. The hot tub was fabulous and was enjoyed by everyone. The house is spacious and perfectly clean and tidy with good supplies. The owners and the cleaning service were very helpful and responsive to any messages which was appreciated. The island is wonderful and we loved everywhere we visited.

Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht. Die Unterkunft war sauber. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und es stand ein Korb mit Marmelade, Milch, Butter, Keksen usw als Empfangsgeschenk zur Verfügung. Ein Highlight ist der große Garten mit Liegen und Sitzgelegenheiten. Dank Klimaanlage kann man die Luftfeuchte reduzieren. Man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass das Dorf etwas abgelegen ist und somit längere Anfahrten zu den Attraktionen nötig sind. Wir würden bei Gelegenheit wieder in diese Unterkunft.

This place was great! It sits directly across from the ocean and the waking/bike path. We walked, even at night, and felt safe. We rented a car. Parking was tight but we were able to park next to the apartment. We would definitely stay again!

Super séjour dans cet appartement parfaitement équipé et très propre. Petites attentions à l’arrivée, toujours très agréable. Idéalement situé pour découvrir São Miguel. L’appartement est dans un quartier calme, où le stationnement est aisé. Nous avons adoré séjourner ici. Merci

La maison est tel que sur les photos. La cours arrière est un gros plus et magnifique vue.

Paula's place is fantastic! The town is very peaceful and scenic and not busy like some parts of the city. A great escape if you're looking for a relaxing time on Sao Miguel!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Our group of 5 liked the ability to spread out a bit on this 3 bedroom house, and the 2 bathrooms minimized the congestion getting ready in the morning. We liked the private parking inside the property, but since we had a rental that was a little larger and without the greatest turning ratio, we opted to just park on the street rather than negotiate with the driveway. We always found a spot in front of the church next door. Totally equipped kitchen and proximity to supermarkets gave us a break from eating out all the time and a chance to enjoy the property's great backyard. Carla was very helpful, easy going, and the house was spotless. The area is not in the heart of any action, but still only a few minutes drive away from anything, and it was fine by us (in fact, we preferred it). There is a convenient little market literally under the second floor great for essentials. Amazing place, and we were grateful for Carla for the opportunity to stay in it.

La casa era perfetta, pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato i prodotti locali che Tatiana ci ha fatto trovare al nostro arrivo. Massima disponibilità per qualsiasi problema, consigliato!

Ines' place was as described. Very large space with plenty of rooms and beds and all the amenities. Short walk to a local market and to a church with great views of the coast. Neighborhood and location felt safe and parking was available on the street (best to have a good parallel-parker in your group!). Overall, it was a very good experience, good communication with Ines, and nice Azorean accommodations.

We were 6 friends traveling together and this was a great house. Lots of places to hang out together, but also we could spread out into smaller groups if we wanted. The beach is lovely and there is a nice trail to a waterfall. Highly recommend both of the restaurants in the little town. Also recommend a visit to both tea plantations that are nearby.

A modern, beautiful place to stay with everything we could need for a short break. We particularly enjoyed watching the stars from the hot tub and on the terrace. A great location to explore the west of the island with everywhere we wanted to go to within about 30 mins drive. Our hosts were really communicative throughout and offered some great tips for our stay. I would highly recommend them and would stay again.

A wonderful experience… felt like home

Sehr saubere große Wohnung, nah zum Strand, angenehme Kommunikation und Betreuung durch die Gastgeberin, gut zu wissen: die Decken sind aus synthetischen Material: Gefahr dass man schwitzt…aber alles andere war super!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in der Unterkunft mit einzigartigem Meerblick und wundervollen Garten, von dem man gleich auf einem gut ausgebauten Weg am Meerufer langlaufen kann. Nur das Wetter war die Woche Ende März sehr regnerisch und relativ kalt, mit dem mussten wir aber rechnen.

Diana’s place was lovely and exactly like the pictures. Diana is absolutely lovely, extremely generous and had a great list of helpful tips and information of things to see. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this property and host.
