Cyril's place is amazing. We stayed for several days in July. Cyril is very helpful with local hints and advice. He goes above and beyond the role of host we went for dinner to a local smokehouse one evening so that I could try lots of local food. The location is a bit out of town but that's really not a problem it's 11-12RM in a grab to the centre and we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a car. The pool is great to come back to on a hot afternoon and the shower was great. It is an unusual place, if you have an open heart and want to engage beyond a bland hotel room in a faceless block then Cyril's place is a gem.

We traveled with friends, and the six of us (four adults and two kids) stayed at Welyne and Gilles' home during our visit to Sarawak. We all had a wonderful time. The house is situated in a peaceful and scenic location, perfect for relaxing and recharging. It’s also conveniently close to the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, about a 30-minute drive from downtown. The house itself is well-maintained, comfortable with pool, and very well equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. Welyne and Gilles were excellent hosts—very friendly and accommodating. We especially appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the local culture, enjoy delicious meals, and take part in a durian tasting that Welyne kindly arranged. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to visit again in the future!

We absolutely loved the place! We had a fantastic time enjoying the BBQ area and the pool was exceptional. The kitchen, bedrooms, and cozy living room made our stay even more comfortable. I also wanted to mention that your responsiveness as a host was greatly appreciated—thank you for being so accommodating! If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to enhance the outdoor lighting. It would make it easier for guests to see and enjoy the area during BBQs. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning in the future!

The setup and layout of the house made for a warm welcome and stay as a family of 6. Our kids had plenty of room to play around outside and in the pool. Even very roomy inside as well. Plenty of room and even had a washer and dryer for clothes washing. Will definitely stay here again for future trips to Kuching. It was only a 5 min walk to the SamaJaya Park and also within walking distance to some family friendly parks for walking in the mornings and kids to play on swings and a playground. Will recommend for our friends to stay if they ever find themselves wanting a place to just relax and spend time as a family.

The homestay was incredibly comfortable and looked exactly like the photos provided. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and as described. A great value for the money—highly recommended!

there is not much to say about this house, it’s perfect in all aspect. feels like home and very clean. for improvements maybe the host can provide “real” towel not the disposable one for guest stay 3 nights/longer and add more cutlery and glass since it has very view of them. nice stay 👍🏼👍🏼 hope to stay again next trip to kuching

location is quiet and relax. facilities is well maintain. just 10 min drive to airport.

The house was super clean, big enough for a family of 7.

This place was nice to check-in to. It's slightly further away from the city centre or any commerical areas but it's in a very good neighborhood with securities as well. The host managed to get the place ready on-time when I made a last minute booking. However, the only issue with the place is the lack of WiFi as the telecom that I was using, Digi, does not have a strong network connection in that area.

Great location! The property is conveniently situated near key attractions, making it easy to get around. Overall, a pleasant stay and would recommend it for the location.

Tien home very nice and modern for stay. She very fast responsive. Nearby area easy to find supermarket and food. Just only lack of rice cooker. Overall everything is fine for me.

Tan's place is a magnificent property, private/ quite neighborhood with all tools available inside for use. Everything works very well. There are lots of eateries, mall, groceries shopping within 5 mins drive. 1 room on the GF provide easy access to elders while 3 rooms on 2nd floor allow younger occupants to sleep peacefully.

As bridesmaids we just need a place to sleep for a night. This house is near to the wedding venue (De Southlake) hence we choose this place. Upon entering the house, we’re very happy to see all the decorations that are very pleasing to the eyes. Plus points the house is very clean and smells so nice. Such a nice and comfortable house to stay a night, or even for several days. Very recommended 🫶🏻

This was our first time staying at an Airbnb and this place has set the bar for us. We felt at home and as someone who doesn't sleep well in new places, I slept really well. Super clean house, all the necessary amenities and an extremely friendly host. We had an amazing experience.
