Our stay at La Balise Marina L’Estuaire, Black River, Mauritius, was absolutely wonderful. Sandrine was an exceptional host, providing fantastic communication from booking through to our stay, ensuring everything was seamless. Paola took excellent care of our family, keeping the accommodation spotlessly clean and always being available to answer any questions. Both Sandrine and Paola were outstanding, making us feel welcome and well cared for. The apartment was spacious, modern, and equipped with every utensil needed for a self-catering holiday, ensuring a comfortable and satisfying stay. I highly recommend hiring a car, as we did, to explore the island. The apartment conveniently includes a car parking space, and the large Super U supermarket nearby offers a wide range of food and essentials. Our experience was incredibly enjoyable, and we are grateful to Sandrine and Paola for making it so memorable. Highly recommended!

ich liebte die Unterkunft und Dhareena war sehr hilfsbereit beim Check in. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig, sauber und ich habe mich sehr sicher gefühlt. Dieses Airbandb ist absolut zu empfehlen und ich bin dankbar über meine Tage in La Gaulette !

Magnifique séjour La vue est splendide .la plage est à quelques mètres L'appartement est génial et tres spatieux Il y a des restaurants et des commerces à proximité Olivier notre hôte est vraiment très sympathique et serviable Accueil vraiment très chaleureux Un petit fond de ménage (pain,pâtes,fruits,beurre,lait,eau,...)nous attendait) Bref le paradis ! Je recommande chaudement ce logement

I had an incredible stay at Fred’s Airbnb in La Gaulette! Fred was proactive, friendly, and highly responsive, making the entire experience seamless from start to finish. Anytime there was a minor issue, Fred took care of it immediately, which made us feel completely at ease. The space itself was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and located in a great neighborhood—quiet enough for relaxation but with everything you need just a short walk away. It was the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. I couldn’t have asked for a better host or a better place to stay. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting La Gaulette.

Ce séjour chez Meera et Shana a été au delà de mes attentes...L'accueil, la gentillesse des hôtes, le logement très propre et spacieux..tout était parfait! Si vous cherchez l'ambiance Maurice authentique, loin du tourisme classique, c'est la bonne adresse! Je voyageais seule et sans véhicule, ce qui n'est pas un problème, arrêt de bus à proximité. Plage de la prairie et morne brabant faits à pieds. Shana est adorable et vous donne de bons conseils pour vos déplacements, Meera fait tout pour que votre séjour se passe au mieux, recommandation pour un guide, (Jean) qui vous fera découvrir les lieux incontournables dans l'intérieur des terres et sans oublier ses conseils culinaires! Si je reviens à Maurice, c'est sûr je séjournerai avec plaisir au Morne village. Un grand merci à Meera et Shana et son mari...j'ai adoré mon. Séjour chez vous! We had the perfect stay at this apartment, well equipped and much bigger than seemed from the pictures. Nice bakery at the bottom of the building, restaurants nearby were limited so we often went into Flic En Flac or Black River. It is possible to walk into Flic En Flac along the coast, approx. 40 mins if you don't mind getting your feet wet crossing the river! Best Airbnb we have stayed in!

Our family of 5, including a 4 yr child had a terrible stay! The checkin and checkout timing was flexible! We arrived late at 7 pm and the host couldn’t welcome us in person. Instead they had the welcome meal left for us and greeted us the next morning! The location is outstanding you have a private access to the beach, a pool. My daughter loved the beach as it was easy to swim and under the rocks there were plenty of small sea creatures to view! Rooms were well described and clean! We used the kitchen and they everything we need to cook including sauce, oil and spices. The snorkeling equipment left in the room was a surprise. Stephanie’s place left us a great experience in our first time Mauritius visit!

Mon séjour s’est très bien passé, les hôtes sont très accueillants, leur chiens aussi ! L’appartement est spacieux et la terrasse un vrai bonus. Un peu bruyant avec la route en bas mais la vue et les couchers de soleil valent le coup.

Wir waren das zweite mal Gast in Christine‘s Airbnb. Das Airbnb war täglich sauber, die Betten frisch gemacht. Sie geben sich viel mühe dem Gast eine angenehme Zeit zu ermöglichen. Die Lage des Airbnbs ist super gelegen um zu Fuss in Restaurants zu gehen oder Kleinigkeiten einzukaufen. Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen und würden es wieder buchen.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans le logement proposé par Mélissa. Elle s'est montrée tres aidante, flexible et reactive... et patiente car nous avons eu de nombreux couacs que sa bienveillance a aidé à surmonter ! Le logement est une maison de rêve : superbe (plus que sur les photos), bien équipée, avec un accès a la place direct et une vue... Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Lovely villa with a nice pool, lush garden & direct access to the very long beach. Our kids loved feeding the giant tortoises, which live just behind the villa. Owners live nearby and are very nice - they brought us fresh home-growth mangoes. The place is peaceful, quiet, safe, private and virtually mosquito-free (we could peacefully chill in the terrace in late evenings). We especially enjoyed long evening walks along the beach stretching miles to both directions - it is very safe, hence we have also walked in the night counting stars. The "KOA" restaurant is withing the walking distance (along the ocean), while there are other restaurants & shops within the few minutes drive. The Black River National Park is in close proximity with its multiple hiking trails, lush forest & fascinating water falls. We really enjoyed our stay in this place and would definitely like to come back in the near future.

It was a tropical paradise, felt like home from home. You wake up hearing the ocean, incredible spot for sunset and has everything you need and more. Definitely will be staying here again, would highly recommend.

Nous étions à la "Maison du Bonheur" avec quelques amis pour un projet artistique, et le cadre était tout simplement idéal. Zaheer a été très prévenant et toujours disponible. Un grand merci à lui pour son accueil chaleureux. ☺️🙏🏾

Ich habe die Zeit bei Philippe sehr genossen, seine Familie war gut erreichbar und hat mich sehr unterstützt. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar, in Vacoas sind alle nötigen Geschäfte ind in Phoenix eine schöne Mal. Ich würde die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

As shown in the picture, the swimming pool in front of the beach is wonderful. The waves on the beach in front of the accommodation are calm, making it great for children to play. It was especially great to take wonderful pictures on nice weather days. Although the cleaning service was insufficient because it was the Mauritius holiday, it was inevitable because it was a holiday. Instead, I enjoyed a very comfortable six-day vacation because the host always gave me kind and prompt notification. I am planning to visit Mauritius again in March next year, and I would like to stay here again. All of my family loved this accommodation so much.

Christopher and team was everything you can ask for and beyond. We arrived late but then the guard was informed that we were coming and had the key. The guard also took his time to show us the apartment and surroundings. The next day both Marianne and Christopher came by to check that everything was ok and to provide recommendations on things to do etc. All in all, everything matched our expectations and some things even above expectations such as there was a cooked meal and breakfast items provided in the fridge on our arrival and that fresh bread was deliver to our door every morning. Can highly recommend staying with Christopher as host.

It's a nice secluded place with kind neighbours, very clean as shown in pictures and well maintained. Debra was very communicative and helpful throughout.

The best apartment that I've visited in Mauritius. Everything was perfect, the apartment, the pool and the sea. Just amazing.

Amazing place, beautiful sunsets. Modern and fully equipped with everything you would ever need. Clean and tidy with private beach access and beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be back to stay again.
