Had a lovely escape at Fernmount. You felt very remote, and deep in the bush, but we’re a short drive to the conveniences of Bellingen. The kids had a fantastic time, hunting for frogs, possums and insects. Andy was a fantastic host, great communication through the whole process. It’s a lovely little slice of the world, and I hope to come back some time soon. Many thanks!

What a beautiful surprise the area was and the house was very comfortable and clean and welcoming to my family including my dogs. Easy walk to the beach and close to highway if you want or venture into Coffs Harbour.

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

We had a great stay at Cookies. The location is perfect for the beaches, local restaurants and shops. The house is extremely well set up and very comfortable. Our dog enjoyed being out in the garden and it is very secure. The local off leash dog beach is only a short walk away which was perfect. We would love to visit again.

Great stay with clean spacious rooms, top-notch amenities and peaceful area. Thank you so much for our host Finbarr to provide us with lots of ingredients in the kitchen including in the pantry rice and pasta, frozen fruits in the freezer for smoothies, coffee machine just to name a few. Very helpful ingredients especially during wet and raining during our short stay. Highly recommended.

Timina's place was perfect for the two of us and our dog - neat as a pin and as comfortable as home. Timina was very friendly and helpful, facilitating a stress-free stay. Despite having more rain than we bargained for, we enjoyed exploring the beautiful surrounds knowing we had a cozy base to return to.

The home was neat tidy and gave us room for relatives to drop in. Appreciated the cot and high chair being available. Price, I thought, was a little high but was the only one available with the space and bedrooms we required.

Lovely, comfortable home so close to the beach. Quiet & comfortable with absolutely everything provided. I would highly recommend staying here & very pet friendly.

Great spot between Brisbane and Hunter Valley for both our families to meet. The house was spacious and clean and had everything we could need during our stay, including a pool and large backyard and it was dog friendly. We'll definitely come and stay again in the future.

It was a very neat unit, the instructions were pretty clear and we had all we needed during the staying, felt like being home indeed, even we could not take our furry kids to travel but deeply touched by the in-house preparation for the guests who travel with their furry babies, hopefully we will come back to visit here again. The beach distance was walkable, we enjoyed the morning walk along the beach, easy to access the town center and many food/beverages choices. All in all, highly recommended Lyn and Peter’s place:-)

What a beautiful surprise. We actually thought we were at the wrong place. Driving in to the most beautifully kept surroundings , with beautiful wildlife guiding us in. we were pleasantly surprised we were at out little home away from home . this place is better than pictures. So clean. so private, so comfortable. Well stocked with all we needed. I will definitely be back to explore more of the surroundings . Carly was so helpful and it was just what we needed. A place to escape the world. One of our favourite B&B ever ❤️

Emma and Luke’s Airbnb was amazing, peaceful location. We had a little hiccup and they were very accomodating and helped as much as they could. Would highly recommend and if in the area again would stay and utilise the stunning property.

We couldn't have had a better experience with Samuel's place. The cottage is spaciously situated on a sprawling, well-groomed property, patrolled by chickens, and set the perfect distance away from the main house to enable a good sense of privacy alongside help being at the ready if required. The house itself is so beautifully fit out; maintaining the old cottage charm with a modern reimagining that was aesthetically delightful and with no compromise on functionality or creature comforts. Samuel was such a lovely host - a very swift and easy communicator, who generously accommodated a couple of requests we made, as well as offering an additional night at a discounted rate, which some of our crew were all to happy to take up! Couldn't recommend more highly.

I needed last minute accommodation for my daughters and I for the Oztag tournament that’s held in Coffs every year and stumbled upon Lynda listing by accident and thank god I did,from the booking to the payment process,everything was so simple.I had contact with Lynda almost immediately which made life so much easier. Upon arrival I was blown away with the easy instructions and how easy Lynda made everything ,whether it was notes she had put in a few places in regards to wi fi passwords etc,the place was beautiful and gave a Hawaii vibe with all these little beach touches here and there and hearing the ocean as she is literally 100 metres away from the beach was heaven compared to where I came from,Lynda and badger(her dog) were the friendliest nicest hosts I have ever had,she was always smiling and so pleasant to my kids and I whenever we bumped into one another,I highly recommend Lynda’s place for anyone heading to Coffs for a getaway and I will definitely be there again next year.

We stayed at Berit's beautiful Air bnb for one night and loved it. Had everything we needed, was quiet and tranquil. Berit was very helpful and made us feel right at home. We loved waking up to the sound of birds and appreciated Berit's thoughtful food & treats. We would definitely recommend staying. Highly recommended for a country stay, close to town.

Absolutely loved this cozy little cabin near Emerald Beach! It’s got everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay — air con, internet, a TV for when you just want to chill, and even a fully equipped kitchen to whip up a quick meal. It’s super close to Look At Me Now Headland, which is perfect for a morning walk or sunset view. The whole vibe of the place is peaceful and homely, and I genuinely love it. Would definitely come back again!

Communication was good with Annelies and the property just about suited us down to the ground. It is comfortable and well equipped. The two bedrooms were a bonus. We were more than happy to sit on the balcony watching the birds with the odd baa from the sheep down the hill. Liked the King Tide brewery in town for the beer and food. Would love to stay again in the future.
