This was the second time we have stayed as a family at Graham's house when visiting Suffolk, and it was just as comfortable and welcoming as the first time. Graham was a great host who was able to accommodate our requested dates and offered a flexible check-in. The house is really well equipped and clean and in a lovely location with a lot of character. The beds are very comfy too, and we really valued the treats on arrival to toast the New Year - thank you so much - would highly recommend staying here!

We’ve just arrived home after a 2 night stay at James’s place. Very comfortable and well equipped. James kindly let us check in early as it was cleaned and ready for us. Nice and quiet area and lovely warm indoor pool. There is a pub opposite where everyone was very friendly and darts and pool is free. We had fish and chips delivered from Oulton Road fish and chip shop and they were amazing. I would recommend and definitely stay again.

We only have good things to say!!! Helen and family were so lovely and welcoming. We felt right at home, and what a gorgeous home! So many thoughtful touches and had everytbing we needed and more!! The sauna and natural pool were great fun, and it was so relaxing to have a fire on in the evening. This was the PERFECT setting for our group holiday (and perfect place for our celebration!). Also we would recommend booking Eva their daughter for a yoga session, it was incredible and very restorative. Have left the holiday feeling very grateful and restored! Thank you!!!

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is lovely, well furnished and modern. The pub at the end of the road is very handy. We took a walk around the marina which was very nice. Hosts are fantastic and have very quick replies and answering any questions. We would definitely come again.

Was perfect for what we needed park was nice and peaceful this time of year, caravan was lovely and clean, kitchen well stocked up with utensils pans etc there’s a onsite restaurant which is good reasonably priced food and drinks. Passes for park are £12 per person a week which you purchase extra as it’s a private listing , we used caravan while our house was being renovated so perfect local base for us, we have 2 dogs so this caravan is nicely placed out of main area so it’s peaceful no noise from people or cars going past to get home after entertainment etc, Definitely recommend to anyone we had no issues while we stayed so didn’t need to contact owner Thank you for letting us stay at your home

Booked the lodge as a surprise for my best friend’s 40th birthday. Four of us in total, that don’t get to see one another often; and everything about this experience made it so special. Selina was so accommodating and flexible to our individual needs; kindly letting 2 of us access the lodge ahead of check-in time, to set up birthday banners & afternoon tea (ordered from No. 142 Cafe in Oulton Broad). The entire stay exceeded all expectations! The photos don’t really do it justice. The lodge is stylish, comfortable, and spotless. The double bedroom boasts its own access onto the spacious veranda, and such a lovely marina location. A fab bar/restaurant onsite too, which we enjoyed the next day.

This place has everything you would want and need for your stay, even provided phone chargers. Spotlessly clean, beautiful towels and bedding, communication was on point. Very helpful and accommodating. The welcome “goodies” were a lovely gesture. Fully stocked with Tea & coffee even provided milk so we could have a cuppa on arrival after a long drive. Recommend 5 stars ✨ ✨✨✨✨

What a lovely stay at Aidan's place! The property was exactly as described and did not disappoint. Very spacious, well equipped and decorated tastefully. A comfortable place that exceeded all expectations. Would definitely recommend and return if we are I'm the area again. Thanks Aidan!

The place was nice, clean, and new. Easy communication and very flexible. If you're 8–10 people, the sleeping arrangements are fine, but the living room and kitchen with dining space are a bit on the small side—though this is not hidden in the pictures.

Peaceful and quiet lovely views. Central to visit the Suffolk coast. The hot tub was a big hit and the log burner, made it so cosy. There were 10 of us, no children so the bedrooms fitted our needs brilliantly. Lovely big kitchen, so lots of space to use. All bedrooms good sizes. Definitely book again.

Hope Cottage was perfect. A roomy yet cosy cottage in a great location. Lots of lovely touches like games and books. We would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely weekend stay at Sarah’s place, it was very cosy and well equipped. It is in a fantastic location very close to the high street with beautiful independent shops and great cafes. It is a short walk to the beach hut, which was a lovely haven on a windy December day. Sarah was great from the start with excellent clear instructions and advice. Thank you for a wonderful stay

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property which was in pristine condition. Very close to the university which was exactly what we needed for this visit. The free parking space round the back was super convenient. The house was well stocked with all the essentials and some luxuries too - a nice surprise. We'd like to thank our hosts for having the property ready for us in such a welcoming way. This was definitely one of the best places we've stayed at in Colchester in this price range, with lovely hosts too. We're looking forward to our next visit.

The house is beautiful and even better than the photos. We were a party of 10 and we found we had everything we could possibly need and enough room to live comfortably. We stayed mainly around the house, cooking meals and playing games by the open fire but ventured out for country walks and to visit the alpacas, which were a highlight. Overall a fantastic weekend, we can't wait to come back.

We had a lovely stay in this quirky, characterful house. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. There was easy on-street parking. The really good thing was that the owner went above and beyond to sort out an issue we had. Many thanks for that David. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Our operatives enjoyed their stay at Andy's place, we extended our stay beyond the original term. Great host, great communication, would recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Julie's property. She communicated exceptionally well and even met us in person, making the experience warm and welcoming. The house is huge, modern, and perfect for our group of 14, ranging from adults to an infant. The kitchen was a dream, especially the oven – as someone who loves to cook, I was in heaven! One small suggestion: a guestbook with more details on appliances, like the hob, would be helpful for future guests. Julie mentioned some exciting updates for the summer, and we can’t wait to see them! The pond and ducks were a peaceful highlight, and the quality of the mattresses, bedding, and pillows was top-notch. We would definitely return, and so would the whole group. Highly recommend!

cobweb cottage was cozy and well equipped. The bedding was great and very comfortable. The space was perfect for everyone to gather in, but also the annexes allowed everyone to have enough privacy. The local pub is highly recommended we had a great meal there as a group and they couldn't have been more accommodating! Everyone in the group commented on how cute the property was. A couple of the properties quirks are covered in the welcome book and are clearly labelled, we had a slight issue with the boiler on check in but Joe showed us how to work around it so wasn't an issue. The Internet wasn't working on check out but we didn't need it so wasn't a huge issue. All in all a great stay!

We were 2 couples with 2 dogs & found the location excellent, the house wonderful & homely. The enclosed garden was so useful with the dogs. We were so impressed with the comfort of the house & it has to be the best equipped property any of us have stayed at. It is a real pleasure to be able to stay somewhere so lovely when having the dogs with us. Herve has thought of everything & as stated in the welcome book, all appliances were set up for ease of use & were a pleasure to use. Weather was kind enough that we sat in the rear garden watching & listening to the birds. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend & we will stay there again if available. Easy walk or short drive into Aldeburgh with its lovely shops, bars, cafes & restaurants. Thank you - we loved everything about this house!

Great location. At least one double bed would be good and a second toilet when 4 people are staying and a cloths line would be good. The house was fantastic everything we needed we were very happy with it and would stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at Sara’s beach house. A beautiful place to relax and destress after a busy week. The view is stunning, I could wake up to that every day. Weather was on our side on our first morning and we enjoyed breakfast and a lovely nespresso coffee on the terrace and soaked in the view. The beach house is clean & cosy with all the amenities you need to make yourself at home. Sara provided a detailed booklet with all the information we needed along with recommendations for the local area. We managed to pass by Horsey Gap on our way home to see the seals, we were shocked to see so many! A must see for anyone staying in the area. Thanks for such a lovely stay, I’m sure we will be back in the summer.

Great place to stay, Linda wzs able to update the changes we needed straight away, and responded immediately. The lads were impressed with accommodation, it was very homely.
