Scarborough State Beach : locations de vacances avec salon de jardin

This was the perfect place for three friends who write and workshop together online to gather in person. The main room of the house is filled with light and what I didn't realize from the listing is the beautiful view from the living/dining room down to the river. The kitchen is well supplied and every room was very clean and uncluttered. The three bedrooms on the first floor are all very nice, with good beds and pillows (one is slightly larger with a king-sized bed), so we were able to decide on our rooms painlessly and none of us had to settle for an inferior room. The large dining table was perfect for spreading out our work as well as for dining, and one of us enjoyed having the furnished basement as her private work space. When we had a problem with hearing a beeping noise, which we initially thought might be a smoke detector battery that needed replacing, Bob was very responsive and helpful in figuring out the cause of the beeping from a motion detector. We plan to come again.

This house was spotless. Everything felt clean, the beds, the bathrooms. 5 bedrooms all nice size and clean. No carpets which is fantastic when you allow dogs. So happy to bring my two Bostons. Plenty of supplies and kitchen utensils. Nice backyard and neighborhood. AC worked great. The only thing I would recommend is a door on the outside shower. From CT and we don’t have outdoor showers so it would have been nice to have everyone shower outside. Other than that it was perfect for my family. Loved having the bikes ! Jackie left us wine and snacks totally appreciate it. We had a great week.

Ashley saved our trip to mystic Connecticut after our previous Airbnb got cancelled an hour before we were suppose to leave . Ashley is a wonderful host and has a beautiful home. She was able to accommodate us within four hours of notice. Her home is gigantic and spotless and we felt right at home. The house came with everything you would need for a weekend or a long vacation . I would definitely recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for one in the area. The home was secluded and all we had was peace and quiet; Which was much needed ! Also, Ashley is a very responsive person, any question I had was answered within a few minutes, and I felt like she really cared that we were enjoying ourselves. Pls come on down and visit her home , you won’t regret it !!

Great stay!

Great location with all great restaurants and shops within steps of the house. Easy 10 min walk to Bowen's wharf, and also a delightful 25 min walk to the Mansions and Cliff Walk. House was very well equipped. Only slight issue was the only bathroom upstairs has a slanted ceiling above the sink, so a bit hard to navigate during our stay... Newport was beyond our expectations and this house made our visit even more perfect!

Peter was super helpful and responsive when we had questions. lovely space with great proximity to the beach!

The house was clean, roomy, and everything worked well. The nearby playground and beach on Narrow River were clean and fun for kids. The backyard with numerous shade trees provided a quiet environment. Th neighbors were friendly. The location was close to many places we wanted to visit including beaches, restaurants, and parks.

Mathew’s place was perfectly located to walk to local shopping & restaurants. The place was clean and updated! It was the perfect place to stay to enjoy the St Patrick’s day parade and all the festivities. We would stay again! Thank you for a wonderful experience !

Very beautiful place the host was very responsive very polite This place felt right at home. The balcony was beautiful. The kitchen was beautiful. Everything about the place was beautiful. I would so love to stay here again. The aura and energy was very positive very vintage.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was exactly as described. It was clean and cozy at the perfect location. Check in was very simple. I would 100% stay here again and I highly recommend staying in this area!

We loved the space and Sean was great!! Our only negative is the size and comfort of the beds. I knew they would be full size but they were pretty noisy and not so comfortable. Loved that we were able to walk to Amica Arena as our grandson was playing basketball there in NCAA March Madness. We actually had grass in the back yard which was so helpful because my schnauzer is pretty finicky about going on grass! Loved having the huge sectional sofa - my husband and I could both lay down and watch tv. Shower was great - that’s always a big thing with us. Thanks Sean for making our stay a great one - helped that our grandson won their first game too!!

We just completed a wonderful five nights stay at Kevin‘s apartment. Everything was perfect. Located in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed walking to dinner at a local Irish pub. There are clean apartments, and then there is Kevin‘s apartment. The place was literally spotless. Kevin was great at communication. Clear instructions and he even accommodated our request to extend the stay one night I highly recommend this apartment as a comfortable and enjoyable home away from home.

I can see why Marianne is a super host! Her place is exactly how she describes but cozier. She had everything we needed to feel right at home and even stocked the kitchen with some thoughtful items like milk, oj and cereal. The apartment was much more spacious than we expected and even had an extra half bath which was very convenient. There were plenty of comfortable places to sit and lots of space to unpack. We love the location because it was as easy to get to Newport as it was to Portsmouth. There's a well renowned French bakery about a quarter of a mile away and the local’s favorite coffee shop is less than half a mile away. The apartment felt very private but Marianne was always available if we had a question. Best of both worlds!

Paul was awesome to work with super responsive. The location was AMAZING walking distance to everything you could possibly need. We will for sure be back again!

Nice place to stay. Easy to find and was quiet and had all the essentials.

We (Couple with 2 adult sons) had a great time meeting up here for the holidays and exploring the area. Apartment was very comfortable and convenient. Super convenient drives to Newport, coastal areas, mansions and restaurants.

Location is superb if you'r visiting Newport for the first time. It's central to most restaurants and shops while still being accessible to public transit if needed. The staff is extremely responsive and always made sure we had what we needed. PS we loved the fireplace! Added to the coziness of the space.

We stayed 3 nights at Trip’s place in March. It was a great location in Newport—walkable to everything, quiet but one block off Broadway. The place itself was as described. It’s a cute little place with a retro beach decor vibe. It was a comfortable enjoyable place to be. Kitchen had everything we needed. Deck was great the one day it was warm enough to sit out and enjoy it. Trip was a great host—very helpful and not just responsive but proactive. Gave us a heads up about the St Patrick’s parade that would stop us from moving our car for a few hours, but after his description we decided to attend and it was very fun!

Such a cute place to stay! Walkable to downtown as well as Brown University. Plenty of local restaurants nearby. The property was clean and beautiful. As others mentioned, we could hear the renters upstairs, but this should be expected for any similar home. It had so much character. We loved it! Highly recommend and would definitely rent again if back in the area. Almost forgot to mention the amazing shower! Fellow women with different types of showers, this is the everything shower DREAM! But don’t want to wash your hair? There are 3 shower heads so you can avoid the waterfall shower head. Legit using this shower as inspiration for our bathroom remodel we were already planning!

Kelly’s Airbnb was wonderful. Close to Newport and what my girlfriend and I were looking for, for a last minute getaway!

Love the place, it’s clean as a hotel. But just as a reminder for someone who wants to stay here in the future, there are some noise of water and cars when you’re staying in the bed room. The host provided ear plugs for it.

Perfect location to Thames St. and very walkable to all the water front locations. Great parking, easy check in, beautiful views, lovely beds and bedding. Worth the price. Only disappointment was uncomfortable seating, but we dealt with it! Two thumbs up!
