The Beach Bungalow on Marina Di Modica was just right. The beach a few hundred yards away was spotlessly clean and the sea was crystal clear. The aircon in the accommodation was much needed . Giovanni stayed very late due to delay flight time and was always in contact on what’s app checking up on me and answering any questions very quickly. He also fixed the shower rail which due to no fault of theirs fell down and he sorted it within a few hours. Highly recommend staying at Keys as you feel very looked after and Giovanni is a very charming host and very keen to make sure my stay was as happy and relaxed as I wanted it to be. I was also allowed to have a later check out time that suited me for a very small extra cost. The small town has an amazing Gelateria, I tried a different ice cream flavour each day, lovely hidden deli behind it with delicious breads, pastries etc too and a small mini market for all essentials. The lifeguard and staff at Corola Beach bar had best sun beds. 🏖️❤

Der Aufenthalt in Il Pino war der Hammer. Echt super schön! Sehr empfehlenswert! Giorgio und auch sein Bruder Daniel sind die besten Gastgeber der Welt. Ich bin Rollstuhlfahrer und damit ich im Haus zurechtkomme, haben sie auf die Schnelle 2 Rampen für mich gebaut. Giorgio war außerdem immer erreichbar und sobald wir irgendetwas brauchten, war er zur Stelle. Auch im Vorfeld war die Kommunikation, zuerst über die AirBnB-App, dann über Email und Telefon, echt schnell, ehrlich, kompetent, und freundlich. Die beiden Brüder sprechen perfektes Deutsch. Das Haus liegt in einem blühenden Garten, wo noch eine andere Familie Ferien gemacht hat, die wir aber kaum gesehen oder gehört haben. Das Meer erreicht man nach 50m durch ein Gartentor. Dort ist man dann mehr oder weniger alleine und das Wasser ist sauber und das Schwimmen super. Es ist kein großer Sandstrand, aber man findet zwischen den Steinen immer wieder Plätze um im Sand zu liegen. Das Haus und die Ausstattung sind nicht neu, aber sauber und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Eine Flasche Wein und frische Blumen waren zur Begrüßung bereitgestellt. In der Dämmerung kamen Mücken, aber auch nicht mehr als sonst wo und die Fenster hatten Insektengitter. Es gibt eine zusätzliche Außendusche (sogar mit Warmwasser), wo man dann zwischen Bougainvilleas und Oleandern duschen kann. Weil es so heiß war, der absolute Traum. Die Lage von der Anlage ist echt gut. Man kann zu Fuß nach Marina di Modica spazieren (ca. 15min), wo es eine Reihe guter Restaurants und einen großen Sandstrand gibt. Wir waren zumeist mit dem Auto unterwegs und sind rund 7 min zum nächsten Strand im Osten gefahren, Maganuco, wo weniger los war. Der Strand ist anscheinend mal zu einem der schönsten Strände Italiens gewählt worden. (Außerdem gab es für mich ein Rollstuhlservice um ins Meer zu kommen!) Giorgio hatte auch richtig gute Ausflugstipps und Restaurant-Empfehlungen für uns, die wir alle sehr geschätzt haben. Schlussendlich verging die Zeit viel zu Schnell. Wir haben es sehr genossen. Giorgio, vielen Dank für Alles! Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder!

We had amazing stay and felt like home. We stayed in 4 Airbnb's in Sicily and this was definitely the best. Claudia is excellent host - she has thought through every little detail. She came to meet us and invated us to have coffee together - it was wonderful to meet her - she id bright and beautiful person! We strongly recommed this place.

Mi sono trovata benissimo, dall’accoglienza al check-in alla disponibilità al check-out, in tutti gli aspetti: pulizia del bungalow, zona dello stesso, a due passi dal mare, ed era esattamente come nelle foto. Le cose che ho preferito, oltre l’aria condizionata, sono state le due verande davanti e dietro al bungalow che l’hanno resa ai miei occhi come una casa accogliente. Ringrazio Giovanni e Michele per la disponibilità durante tutto il periodo.

We stayed at the villa in August for 9 days. Communication with the Owner was great before and during our stay. Franz was helpful and very generous. He upgraded us to a larger villa free of charge! Facilities were superb. Villa was clean, large and well equipped. The pool is amazing! We had a had a lovely and relaxing time and thinking of coming back with a larger group next time.
