We could not have been more happy with our stay at the castle, hosts were great and the location gave us lots to see and do. If you love history, beautiful surroundings, great little towns and castles to explore you will not be disappointed. The accommodation was lovely, clean and had everything we needed for the stay. Walks along the little brook, hosts allowed a little walk around the castle walled garden. It's like stepping back in time - just wonderful and couldn't be happy, wished we stayed longer.

We had an incredible experience staying at Billy's property! From the moment we arrived, Billy was an outstanding host, making sure everything was perfectly in place and ready for our arrival. The house was spacious and easily accommodated all 6 of us with plenty of room to spare. One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted with freshly baked blueberry muffins – a thoughtful and delicious touch that made us feel right at home. The house had all the amenities we needed, making it feel just like our own home. We particularly enjoyed the private access to the property and the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. The lodge was unbelievably beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice. Felt like a dream and the host was great. Made sure we had what we needed for a peaceful and pleasant stay. Probably one of the best views we’ve had while enjoying our breakfast. Would absolutely recommend East Lodge and will have to come back

Stunning place , we had an amazing time , and did a couple of activities. The grandchildren and children loved the maze the lock , the boat ! Magical memories! Thank you to all the lovely staff too ! Xx

Had an incredible time! Not only was this stay better than the photos, but it was a steal for the cost! Soo enjoyed the privacy and natural beauty at Bamff, extensive wildness and species, and access to the Cairngorms and Highlands. Definitely recommend for a perfect cozy Scottish getaway!

Geweldig mooi en ruim appartement. Het was heerlijk warm toen we binnenkwamen. Een prachtige omgeving, en een appartement waarbij aan alles gedacht is. Compleet uitgeruste keuken en er was zelfs een airfryer aanwezig. Dvd's en spelletjes volop aanwezig. Makkelijk parkeren. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf en komen graag nog een keer terug.

Lovely flat in one of the wing of a beautiful castle. The flat is very spacious , with beautiful views in a very quiet place. lovley to start some nice walks. The Isle of Mull has a lot on offer: standing stones, cafes, distillery, a munro to climb and beautiful beaches. so no time to get bored! I'd thoroughly recommend this accommodation. Thank you!

We could not be more pleased with our stay. The home was beautiful, and Takki was the perfect host. The location was central enough for plenty of fun days out within a short drive while still feeling private and peaceful when at the house. We spent each night playing board games with the kids surrounded by the beautiful autumn leaves and views of the water. We would definitely stay again if we adventure back to the area.

11 friends stayed at Kinclune House for 3 nights as a wee festive get together. The house was amazing and is in the most beautiful peaceful surroundings. The house as well equipped and there was everything we needed for our stay! The house is huge and there was more than enough space for all of us with lots of different rooms to chill in and lots of board games to choose from! Aylwin was always very responsive to any questions we had and we are hoping to return again next year ☺️

Overall, our stay in Belfast with Dora and Brendan was wonderful. Very cosy facilities, comfortable bed and modern appliances with the added bonus of a swimspa, hot tub and smoke house. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive and went over an above to assist us when we had some personal issues arise. The space is small but comfortable - but important to note would only really suit a couple as there is no kitchen sink, small bathroom and small mini-fridge. Would highly recommend.

Wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Am Anfang war es etwas mulmig in einem Castle zu Wohnen Aber alles sehr schön.Sehr sauber und alles mit Liebe gemacht.Morgens wird man vom Hahn 🐓 geweckt 😉 Waren mit 7 Personen dort. Kein Telefon Empfang dafür aber WLAN zum Planen der Touren. Ein Ort mitten in der Natur sehr schön Ruhe Entspannung . Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt 😀

The apartment was perfect: luxurious yet cosy, very well appointed and in the best location, overlooking Loch Ness. The surroundings are breathtaking, we walked part of the South Loch Ness Trail and the Great Glenn Way, both well signposted and well maintained. It was a great short holiday, many thanks.

Doing a family tour of Scotland with 10 (& 1/2) members, we were looking for an authentic Scottish experience when we found Craigston Castle. Craigston was immensely impressionable for all of us, from the warm greeting at the door to the sharing of the Urquhart family history, we felt at home immediately after opening the car door to enter through the grand foyer. Our host was far more attentive than what we are used to on our stays & should merit a separate very lengthy review ,5 stars of course. So much to do on the grounds, & i wish we had more time to completely canvas the whole estate. I feel we all got a good idea of the daily life of the earlier Scotsmen (aside from the updated plumbing). We were all amazed at simply having dinner in the same rooms as the early Urquharts & associates . I can't really explain in this short review what we all received from this short stay, but i guarantee none of us will ever forget it. Experience of a lifetime. Thank you for having us.

Our second time staying here. On arrival we were greeted by Mike who showed us around. Lovely apartment with views onto the Cloisters. We made use of the amenities onsite, and enjoyed the stunning views and historic location. We had a wonderful stay once again.

Our family (of 15) really enjoyed our week at the Kinnettles Mansion. The house far outshines the pictures on the website! Everyone couple loved having their own en suite, and each bedroom was really special with a “castle” feel. We spent some great evenings together in the fireplace room, played games in the dining room, and family video games in the cinema room every night. We even had an evening of learning the Texas two-step in the ballroom:). Conveniently close to St. Andrews and all the amenities there—and to the train stop at Leuchars to pick up people from the airport. Recommended rental cars though. Also, don’t expect the castle to get cozy warm everywhere in the winter. They provide space heaters which keep the bedrooms warm, but in the daytime we needed to move the space heaters to the areas we would gather in. Not a problem—still worth it—and an extra benefit was that it kept the family together:). Great hosts! Very responsive and helpful! We loved our stay!!

Graeme and Grace’s cottage is a gorgeous cozy place to enjoy some of the most stunning scenery in the UK. They are wonderful friendly, helpful and proactive hosts and helped us make the most of our stay. We enjoyed Bamburgh in November with bracing winds and bright chilly days and it was tremendous. The local restaurants, bars and shops covered all our needs for the time we were there and everywhere was friendly and of good quality. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage and location.

This place is beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the place is clean. The bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor with a very thin, small staircase. Parking is convenient in front of the building. The location is very remote, with nothing in walking distance and difficult to get to/from the town, which I wish I had known prior to booking. However, we made the most of it and the house itself is beautiful and matches the photos.

Graham was a lovely host, he was very welcoming and helpful. His home is clean and beautiful and the views are spectacular, we hope to visit again soon. We highly recommend Graham’s place. We also loved the cute bunnies in the yard!
