Perfect for our short one night stay. Easy to find with google maps using coordinates provided. Super friendly, kind hosts. Age appropriate games/ books and other bits were left out and shown to the children on arrival. Lovely breakfast welcome pack was also there for us. Good sized parking space right outside the door to the property. Thank you A & C!

A lovely cottage in a perfect location for us visiting family. Better suited to adults/older children because of the stairs and the kitchen/living area being one, so cooking a challenge with small children. Otherwise, clean, well appointed and adjacent to a farm shop with a cafe that has a terrific range of delicious bakes.

We had such a wonderful time here. The cottage is great with fantastic views. Our dog loved the garden which was very secure, the cottage was exactly as described with good quality furnishings and appliances etc. Kate was very friendly and happy to help. Lots of information provided on local walks etc., there are walks you can do from the cottage or a short drive will open many more options. We can’t wait to return for another peaceful, relaxing break!

hele lieve mensen, met een lief huisje op hun terrein. Fruit en melk was als welkom aanwezig en ook verse bloemen. Aanrader is Stonehaven en de wandeling naar het kasteel, prachtig.

Great accommodation and lovely hosts. Perfect spot for the endless local mountain biking, walking, coffee and cakes. Wish we had stayed another week!

Everything was perfect. Bruce and Jean were welcoming and helpful. It's a lovely cozy cottage in a stunning place. We certainly hope to book again.

I recently stayed at this charming cottage, and I couldn't have been more pleased. The place was impeccably clean. The farm shop was lovely and we received a great welcome. The hot tub was fabulous—it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The surrounding countryside views added to the serenity and charm of the cottage. Overall, a wonderful getaway that I would highly recommend!

What can I say . A true gem of a place . Lovely hosts , Pamela even left us eggs and bread for breakfast which was such a lovely thing to do even though the post didn’t mention breakfast included on it .definitely will go back. Clear instructions to reach provided .

Joe and sue were amazing hosts throughout my stay. They were available during any questions I had and also very helpful during the storm in January. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants an escape to the country, can’t thank them enough. Will definitely be back !!

Sandra was super helpful and sent us a message before we arrived with clear instructions and even offered to drive in to pick up our take away. The cabin itself is immaculate and such a thoughtful host with the breakfast box and drinks in the fridge. Hot tub was already lit for our arrival. We will definitely be back.

only one complaint was google maps is not accurate the address and it wasn't obvious where the Airbnb was. other than that I'd recommend 100%

Booked a last minute weekend away and Jessica was so great! Had an issue with our car and Jessica was extremely understanding and flexible with our checkout and I can’t thank her enough. The accommodation is beautiful and so peaceful! Thank you again x

Could not fault this AirBnB and could not fault Paul and Fiona. They replied to all messages very quickly and the place was spotless. Paul was there to greet us when we arrived and was very friendly. Beautiful garden and made our night when Paul told us he had heated the hot tub for our arrival. Our dog loved the privacy of the garden as well as he played all weekend. Really appreciated the welcome board of cheese, crackers and fizz! Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying again.

We had such a wonderful time at the cottage, perfectly situated for our weekend getaway. It was ideal for exploring the nearby towns and provided a great space to unwind after a day out. The space felt clean and cozy, just as described, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches that made our stay more special. We can’t wait to return.

We had a lovely few days away here, we especially enjoyed the large open plan kitchen/diner/lounge space. We relaxed in the evenings and made the most of the lovely accomodation and spent our days exploring places we had not been to before. We did Holy Island and other stops along the coastal road and had a day in Newcastle. We drove to the metro centre and got the train in which was very easy to do. Helpful and friendly host, thank you for the treats and eggs on arrival. We would recommend a stay here to anyone interested 😊

We were looking for a quiet peaceful place to explore the walking in the area. Emma's place fitted the bill perfectly being situated in a remote rural location. The Byre is well fitted out with quality finishes and small welcoming touches such as the delicious homemade cake. Emma is a great host and we will happily return to continue exploring the area.

We’ve just returned from a lovely long weekend at Tamano with our family. The lodge was easy to find and looked just as it had in the pictures. The layout suited us perfectly and the lodge had it everything we could possibly need including lots of thoughtful extras. We especially loved the board games, jigsaws and books that were there- oh and of course the selection of funny hats and glasses were a hit with the kids! Andrew was really friendly and keen to have us explore the farm and interact with the animals. Our kids were delighted to pet the sheep, and feed the donkeys and chickens. The farm has a really lovely and peaceful feel, you really feel away from it all. Andrew was a great host and answered my numerous questions promptly. We felt really at home during our lovely Tamano escape and would not hesitate to book again for a family trip.

Driftwood Cottage was in a stunning location and a great place to explore Skye in the day. The cottage itself was extremely comfortable and a great place to come back to and relax after a busy day. It is very well furnished with quality fittings throughout. We were blessed with exceptional weather with clear blue skies in the day and dark skies for star gazing at night. Think my favourite was sitting outside with a morning coffee and only be able to hear the sea or our neighbours the sheep. Two days was just not enough time so we would definitely book again when back on Skye and hopefully stay longer.

Tom was probably one of the best hosts we have had. Really informative and helpful without being over the top. Whenever we needed anything, he was quick to respond. Have great information on the area and even offered us a lift! Honestly, cannot fault him. Annexe was beautiful and clean, well maintained. Gorgeous area, lovely local pubs and the hot tub was filled with fresh water. Fantastic experience. Would definitely stay again.

A gorgeous place to stay, really enjoyed our visit and would definitely return in summer time! Should be made aware of the road to the cottage as it’s made for bigger cars on a dirt road. Our smaller cars scraped along, could damage underneath car and not great for your tyres but apart from that it was excellent. We were able to get a late check out which was appreciated as with late check-in and early check-out you only really get 1 full day if staying for the weekend. Lovely hosts and very spacious cottages😁would happily return!

Cosy and beautiful cottage in a breathtakingly stunning location right in front of Loch Fyne. The perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands – complete with adorable horses, ponies, and chickens right outside the windows. The cottage was bright, warm, spacious (especially for four people), and immaculately clean. Lindsay and Steve have clearly put a lot of thought into the details, including charming Christmas decorations during the festive season. :) The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, and they even provided firewood for the fireplace along with some lovely local produce. Lindsay and Steve were always available to answer any questions and came to our rescue straight away when we had a breakdown with our hire car. Thank you so much for everything – we truly appreciate all you did for us. We had an absolutely wonderful stay!
