This was an absolute haven of peace and tranquillity The hut was filled with lots of lovely touches Rachael is sweet, helpful and thoughtful My Daughter, Grandchildren and myself loved every minute. the children did not want to leave, some tears shed. They said it was their favourite holiday, where else could they feed the horses in the morning with their pyjama's and wellies on.

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin whilst on a weekend getaway. Stella kindly left clear instructions of how to get to the cabin, left a heater on for us so we were cosy from the get go on the arrival which was fantastic after a cold windy February day exploring the local sites! The cabin was extremely comfortable and cosy, we loved the privacy and were able to ‘switch off’ from our busy daily lives - a perfect break which allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves. The cabin was also in great proximity to a variety of locations - we managed to explore Carlisle, Hadrian’s Wall and the Gretna Green outlet whilst staying at Stella’s cabin. Thank you Stella and would highly recommend our stay to others!

I really enjoyed my week in the hut. It was a lovely space for just myself. Andrew and his family are extremely welcoming and very friendly. This was my fifth stay at their farm and I am very happy there. My first stay in the hut and I would definitely consider booking it again. Thank you all for making me feel so welcome again.

Booked the Shepherds hut for my partners birthday for a long weekend. It was exactly what we wanted. Great outdoor space for a campfire and to cook and eat. Lovely hut, comfortable bed, nice stove for cooking on and warmed the place up perfectly. Emma met us when we arrived and was very friendly, telling us all we needed to know about the facilities. Hit shower was a bonus, we weren’t expecting that. Very nice views and overall a lovely stay,

The cabin is lovely and we especially enjoyed the log burning fire and seating area with comfy swing chair and hammock. Steve was very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to go to relax and Forres is beautiful too.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ben's Hut! We loved the accommodation; it was cosy, comfortable and completely unique - and the landscape and views were wonderful. A really memorable stay!

Remote and peaceful location but within a drive of many beautiful scenic places. We loved feeding the horses and sitting on the wooden decking eating and drinking. The big double bed is super comfy and the little hut has all the basic necessities. A lovely play to relax and great for doggies. Host was there to greet us and messaged in advance to make sure everything was set up!

Ideal escape for a couple of days over the Easter holidays. The Stag Hut is exactly as pictured and in the most peaceful setting. My son and I had the best time and hosts were fantastic. Highly recommend!

If you are a nature lover looking for a very quiet and private spot with breathtaking views and nature on your doorstep then look no further. With running hot water and gas powered fridge and hob the modern coms are not short too. Kite, swans, geese and other birds regular flying over and sheep with lambs trotting about if you visit in spring. The loch is a short walk away if you are a fan of cold water swimming. There is lots to do in the area 30-45 mins drive too, whatever the weather and for families too. The dark skies at night are special and if you fancy some stargazing the spot is priceless. Debbie is a great host, responsive, helpful and pragmatic. We will be back as soon as we get a chance! Pure dead brilliant!

Lovely, peaceful stay. Close to the centre of Cockermouth and a walkable distance into the town centre. The electric fire was also lovely and kept the place lovely and warm

Perfect shepherds hut stay in the Isle of Skye. I'd definitely return if I'm back in the area. We loved being able to do a sunrise paddle board right off the beach next to the hut

Nicola was the absolute best host! Super friendly and made it clear that we could get in touch for anything at all, this wasn’t needed as everything was easy, including heating up the hot tub and getting the projector going! Not only a super cosy and comfy stay but extremely well priced considering all you get (including a delicious welcome hamper with some Scottish goodies)!

the first night it was unfortunately very windy which you felt in the hut but otherwise it was a fantastic stay, with a very nice view! it is definitely worth your money to stay here.🤩

Listing was exactly as described and a fair price. Cabin was cozy with a comfy bed and a little TV. I would return!

Such a lovely wee cabin, really recommend - had never been to Dalmally before (we used it as a place to stay in between going to and from Oban to see the puffins on Lunga), and it’s a really quaint village. The hosts were lovely, making us feel welcomed when we arrived. Comfy bed and clean accommodation, surrounded by nature and hillwalks nearby. A gorgeous wild swimming spot in the river nearby too for those inclined! We even got to meet and fall in love with Ethel the bearded collie, the cabin’s namesake…!

This cabin was really nice , so clean and tidy . Was in a lovely private place , so peaceful. Would loved to have stayed for longer . Very highly recommended and def will be going back. It was just perfect for me and my partner for a break from the kids and loved the hot tub all to ourselves it was just added bonus to our relaxing night .

We had the best time, I even proposed to my partner at the top of criffell (she said yes!) and was so happy to have booked this place to celebrate such a special occasion. The sauna in particular is brilliant! Thanks Daniel!

We all had a fantastic time at the Shepherds hut. It was a beautiful quite, peaceful and pretty location. We had everything we needed and Christopher was great with communication. Very friendly! It's a perfect spot to explore the area, we took our bikes and cycled to Sanna Beach. The fact that there is charcoal to have a BBQ and fire wood for the fireplace makes such a difference. Love all the little extras like soap, tea and coffee. The shower was amazing with good water pressure and lovely hot water.

Lovely remote position with absolutely stunning views over the hills. Iain made us feel very welcome when we arrived and was there to welcome us even though our arrival was delayed. Great place to view the stars with minimal light pollution. Would love to stay again. The shepherd's hut was lovely and cosy.

This is an amazing place to stay, we loved every minute of it. The location was absolutely beautiful and the cabin was perfect. After exploring and walking all day, it was lovely to come back and sit in the hot tub watching the sun go down over the loch, surrounded by mountains (and sometimes deer). The cabin had everything you need and was cosy and clean. Phil was lovely and helpful and it was a bonus meeting his dogs! We would love to stay again. Thank you for having us and leaving us with lots of happy memories.
