This is the third time I’ve stayed at Jenny & Andy’s ‘The Wee Housie’. From the first time I went, they’ve always been so friendly and welcoming. Staying here, and in Talmine itself is so peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. The property is clean and spotless, and is just the perfect place to relax. If you haven’t stayed here before, I totally recommend it. You won’t want to leave! Thank you Jenny & Andy for having me & my mum stay, and making us feel so welcome!

An excellent place with amazing views to stay if you're in Skye or want a base to explore! Cabin was warm, clean and comfortable and the instructions to find it were excellent. Donald and Eileen were great hosts, especially with the short notice booking! I would 100% recommend their place and will look to stay here again in the future!

I really enjoyed my week in the hut. It was a lovely space for just myself. Andrew and his family are extremely welcoming and very friendly. This was my fifth stay at their farm and I am very happy there. My first stay in the hut and I would definitely consider booking it again. Thank you all for making me feel so welcome again.

Harvest and her husband were incredibly helpful and friendly and made you feel right at home - the freshly baked bread was delicious and the complimentary cake was equally as good. The accommodation itself was super cute and cosy with fairy lights and small touches around which made it complete. One thing that surprised us was that there is another cabin (larger, raised cabin) very close behind us which was used by families when we were there. This didn’t pose a huge problem for us specifically but the fire pit was quickly taken by them and the decking for stargazing was shared as well. It didn’t feel as private as we thought it would and we were conscious of them being so close to us in terms of noise, music and sitting outside late at night. We did however open the shutters on the hut and for three hours we basked in the sun while lying on the bed drinking wine and finally watching the sunset. It was pretty perfect. We had a great time and would recommend.

Amazing place to stay- it was so relaxing being immersed in nature, and the chalet had everything we needed. Our toddler loved meeting the goats and chickens and exploring the woodland! Lovely, friendly hosts who made us feel at home. Can’t wait to stay again :)

This cottage is a rare find very very peaceful, and immaculate my partner and I have stayed at many cottages, hotels but we did not want to leave we had a 3 night break and it was a break, Mary & Andy are on hand if you need them but they never bother you just let you relax and we did, log burner was on, very comfy bed just beautiful place to stay and looking at returning very soon. The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

The Pod was a great place to stay, perfect for our needs as we were over visiting relatives and then at the end of the day we could come back and relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings

I booked this for my mam and step dad. Julie was lovely from start to finish and she was so responsive. They had a wonderful time and when they shared the photos my sister said she had stayed here a few years ago and had also loved it! Thank you!

A perfect get away if you are looking for a beautiful and quiet stay off the beaten path. The grounds are gorgeous and the inside is immaculate. A nice reprieve from the city energy of Dublin. Absolutely recommend!

Perfect place for a couple to take a peaceful break

Perfection… peaceful and very private, was absolutely spotless and just what we were looking for especially being so close to the wedding venue that we were going to.

We had a fantastic stay at Red Pump Pod on our first trip to Northern Ireland, travelling from Manchester, England. The welcome instructions were clear and helpful, making check-in easy and stress-free. The cottage was extremely comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen, great amenities, and plenty of storage space—including room for clothes, which was very convenient. We slept very well thanks to the cosy bedding and peaceful surroundings. The seating area was spacious and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a hot shower and a proper flushable toilet—everything you need for a comfortable stay. The setting is absolutely beautiful and the hot tub was a real highlight, especially in the evenings. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to explore the Northern Irish countryside in comfort and style!

Had a wonderful time here, not a single negative point at all. Brilliant place to stay, far better than some more expensive holiday lodge type places we’ve tried before. Highly recommend. Was perfect for our dog too

This lodge was a wee mountain gem. The location is excellent with mountains views and we were lucky with clear skies. The decor was very cosy and felt very homely. The hosts left us some delicious brownies and a wee dram for our arrival. Absolutely amazing stay and will hopefully be back any time we are in the Cairngorms.

The cabin had everything that we required for a couple of nights on our tour of Scotland. It was nearby to walks and places to visit and we enjoyed our time here. After a busy day out and about, the hot tub was a welcome place to relax and chill.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und hatte eine ruhige schöne Lage. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Unterkünften hatte man einen Meerblick und eine schöne Übersicht. Allgemein war alles sehr sauber, aufgeräumt und schön eingerichtet. Wir können das Pod nur weiterempfehlen. Victoria war eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin die mit Tipps zur Seite stand, wenn benötigt, aber einem auch Raum und Ruhe gelassen hat.

Cosy place, lots of space for dog to roam, and really attentive host!

The Atlantics pods was a lovely cozy set up and despite the elements was always warm. Plenty of utensils and a convenient space to prepare food / cook meals. The views from the front door were stunning. With it being out of season, there wasn’t a lot open in the area- just the local Spar for groceries but the walks in the area were all really peaceful and the scenery unmatched. This was certainly the ideal place for fresh air, scenic walks with peace and tranquility. I would happily stay again in the future and will hopefully be back up there soon with my dad to show him around the area!

Een geweldige plek midden in de natuur. Erg comfortabel en met zorg ingericht. We waren er met mooi weer, dus ook kunnen zwemmen in het aangrenzende meer. Kortom een top verblijf

Had a fantastic 2 night stay, while doing a bit of hiking in the area, weather was amazing which definitely helped, place was very clean, very peaceful, the use of the paddle boards etc was a lovely touch, would definitely stay again.

Love to stay at wildwoodz. Great for kids a real adventure.

The cabin is perfect . The use of space is incredibly well thought out. Despite being on Caroline’s drive, we didn’t hear a thing from the family home. Having towels, toiletries ( all from a local supplier❤️) all the little extras, biscuits, coffee, tea, milk, breakfast supplies was a step beyond . The cabin has everything. The location was a short drive from all the sights we had planned to see. The information book was great for top tips. The walk up to the memorial through the woods was beautiful. We had incredible weather, accommodation and location. Highly recommend and the quiet pub with a pool table at the bottom of the drive was another added bonus. Well done Caroline, you’ve created a beautiful space ❤️❤️❤️

If you have the chance to stay here, you absolutely need to! You will not beat the location. The pod is down a private country road with stunning views of the mountains. It is so peaceful and quiet. Additionally, it is very close to many of the amazing attractions in Skye. We walked to Lealt Falls and Brothers Point directly from the cabin. From the very start of booking, Alex was incredibly responsive and helpful. She went out of her way to help me with a booking question that she really didn’t have to… and when we arrived, she greeted us and gave incredible advice on what to do and see in our short stay there. They made us feel so special and welcome for our anniversary stay. I really can not say enough good things about them! We were sad to see our stay end and hope to be back!!
