Beautiful Home close to town! Hosts were very accommodating! Only regret was not staying longer❤️

We came to Rugby not really knowing what to expect in terms of the town or the place we were staying. When we arrived at the house, we were immediately blown away by how beautiful it was and the lovely yard and porch. Both bedrooms were large and have private bathrooms (the upstairs bathroom is gorgeous). There is an additional bath downstairs so anyone who needs to access it doesn’t have to go into someone’s bedroom. I loved that! The beds were comfortable and there was additional bedding if you need it for warmth or additional sleeping space. The entire house was very clean and tidy but so well appointed. We even had someone nick their finger and we were able to find a bandaid! By far the most well thought out Airbnb we’ve ever stayed. You could tell that the people who own this home enjoy welcoming and hosting loved ones. We brought additional camp chairs just in case but with the fire pit area and the wrap around porch, this home was made for spending time loved ones.

The Carter’s were top notch. They went above and beyond. The house was available early on check in day, they checked in with us throughout the stay. We left an item, they are going to mail it to us. I would 100 % recommend them and stay with them again

This house is beautiful, very well kept, and located in a very private area. Yet just a short drive from Jamestown and the highway where you can access much of anything you’d like. The host was amazing to deal with and the communication couldn’t have been any better!!! We will definitely be back.

I can't say enough positive things about this property! First, the house is extremely cozy. It's almost 100 years old with its charming quirks, but smells great and is very clean. The porch area is so charming with lots of seating options. My kids loved all of the swings around the house. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the essentials and then some. Words can't describe the land surrounding this house! We spent hours exploring every day. If you walk the trails just in the back of the property, the creek becomes absolutely stunning, and it's where we spent most of our time. We walked to the church a mile down the road, and the river area behind it was also stunning. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay for us. We absolutely plan to come back. I can tell it will be beautiful in the summer with the hydrangea and rose bushes around the house and in the fall when the leaves change color. We were able to enjoy all of the daffodils. The host was also very helpful. Five stars!

Very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the private country setting.

Great stay, very responsive. Very clean. Parking can be challenging with gooseneck trailers but doable. If more then two trucks/trailers there is alternative options. Would be a little tight for our size group if longer then long weekend but was great short our quick trip. A hose for outside would have been a plus. Brings chairs for outside if you like porch sitting or outdoor time. No WiFi but service wasn’t an issue.

We really enjoyed the bunk house to attend a local truck show! It wasn’t anything fancy but exactly what we needed. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay! Easy access to Brimstone trails!

Debra was very responsive to any questions I had. The cabin was in a perfect location to access Brimstone for riding our side by sides and very comfortable!! I would highly recommend any of there accommodations!! We loved the entire stay and will definitely book again!!

Very close to the trails. Parking is very accessible for trailers. The room stayed warm even with it getting under 20 outside. Great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This place is super cute and perfect for a family of four. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be staying again in the future.

I traveled all the way from Maine to the cabin. I was in town for a local truck event and thankfully the cabin was SUPER close by. It was very easy to find with the directions they provided. Unfortunately I was at the show most of my stay but I thankfully did get to enjoy the hot tub!! When I arrived after my 18+ hour drive it was all up and running ready to enjoy that was a HUGE bonus! The house was extremely clean and had everything I needed. I reached out to see if I was able to use the hose to wash my truck and they were very accommodating with that which saved me a huge headache of finding a car wash LOL there is talk of another event in the fall, I know where I’ll be staying again!!

Exactly what we were looking for. Clean and quiet with privacy. Spent most of the time in the hot tub with the cool nights. Definitely would recommend. Hosts were great with an early check in since my phone was bouncing between central and Eastern time so we arrived an hour early

Really unique house in a nice secluded area, close to great hiking trails. The common area is great - very open and nicely decorated. Loved the wrap around porch. I would not choose to stay here again with my relatives in their 70’s due to the steep, narrow, winding staircases and lack of easy access to bathrooms. It was clear in the description that all guests must be able to climb stairs, but the stairs were trickier than expected and I worried a lot about them the whole trip. The bedroom with the best access to a bathroom had a very, very small bed so not the most comfortable. Also could have been stocked slightly better - the soap dispensers both ran out and compared to other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at, there were fewer cleaning supplies, toiletries, toilet paper, and pantry staples like oil available. Overall we had a nice time. If you’re looking for a place for younger or more active folks to have easy access to outdoor activities, it’s perfect.

This was one of our favorite Airbnbs we have ever stayed at. If you are looking for the place location to unplug and take a deep breath, this is a perfect spot. The inside of the cabin is so fun and beautiful. Hanging out in the kitchen/living area alone is a treat. We were there for a big thunderstorm and sitting on the swing on the catwalk in front of those huge windows was a dream. Very easy access in and out of Big South Fork. We were only here for a short stay, so we didn’t venture far into the park, but the map showed every key location was within 50 mins. 10/10 recommend this for your next nature trip!

The Cabin was very nice. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub while taking in the view! There isn’t too much to do in Jamestown, but if you like hiking and getting away from the city, this place is perfect for you!

Absolutely wonderful trip. Karin’s cabin was immaculate, and cozy. It was perfect for our trip, and we can’t wait to come back. We are already planning our next trip back. The cabin had everything we needed, plus more. My husband and I visited for a hiking trip. We stopped at the Cumberland Falls State Park on our way, and didn’t get to check-in until 10PM. Karin and Bruce were more than accommodating to our late arrival time. They had the cabin ready to go, and turned the heat on for us. (We were a little wet, and cold from our hike.) The hot tub was a huge bonus to add! It was so nice to relax in after long days of hiking. We also visited Pickett State Park which we highly recommend. It was beautiful, and not too far from the cabin. There is something for everyone here regardless of your trip. If you want to just relax, or visit state parks this is a must stay destination for your trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, and getting to meet Karin and Bruce. Wonderful hosts!
