Beautifully well equipped house. Fantastic library and amusements including a piano if you didn't feel like going out. Everything else you could possibly need provided. Pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The house is situated at the entrance to a lovely park and riverside walk. Would happily return and hope to do so soon.

The cottage was beautiful and set in an absolutely stunning area of the country. We felt so happy and comfortable there. The host was so friendly and gave us advice on amazing walks in the area. My kids would go back just to see the dogs and the pony.

Mounthooly bunkhouse is in a stunning location. The property itself has everything you need, including a particularly well equipped kitchen. The nine bed rooms are not huge and there is limited space for bags but the whole place was clean and comfortable with cosy sofas and a log fire. Would definitely return.

We loved the property. Very spacious and well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was a nice touch having the Christmas tree! We also loved the location and enjoyed the tranquility of where the property is located. Hayley was responsive responding to questions and would love to stay again sometime!

Warm welcome, beautiful surroundings, peaceful short break. Host went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable by putting the log burner on before we arrived as it was a cold day. Amazing breakfast.

Amazing location with a homely feel. Will definitely return. The lemon cake was a lovely touch and delicious.

Perfect for the family get together. There was a welcome pack which provided everything to start us off. Rooms were an exceptional size which for a family of10 meant we were not squashed in and the whole family enjoyed the weekend

We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!

We had a fabulous stay in Rebecca’s very cosy but spacious lodge. We felt immediately at home and everything you could possibly need was provided. Lovely homely touches, cosy lighting and great views. Situated in a very peaceful part of the park. We are already booked to come back! Eyemouth has lots to offer and Rebecca’s place allows you to access all of this with great ease.

Nice big place. Clean and tidy. Nice little starter pack of bread milk etc left for us. Plenty of towels. Rooftop terrace with heating and use of pool. A lot of fobs and keys to use but plenty of copies provided for us. Feather pillows, would’ve preferred firmer, but that’s a personal preference. Lovely host.

Lovely location to explore nearby Bellingham and the walking trails there. Accomodation was adequate for our needs especially breathing in the fresh rural air.

Booked to stay here last minute with my young son and we loved every second of our time here. The caravan had everything we needed and more. The location was ideal and we also managed to fit in a quick trip up to Edinburgh. We would definitely book again for a longer stay. Thanks

This is a great place to stay if you want to explore explore Edinburgh or go down to the borders. The accommodation was lovely and welcoming. You're only 5mins drive to Eskbank station which has free parking, you can then get on a train that takes you into the heart of Edinburgh in 20mins.

We had an amazing stay at Amelia’s tiny home! It felt super cosy and surprisingly spacious for a small space. Everything was spotless and beautifully decorated, and we loved the welcome basket with cereal, biscuits, coffee and milk—such a nice touch! We didn’t cook, but the place had everything you’d need if you wanted to—plenty of appliances, plates, mugs, glasses, and cutlery. It really felt like a home away from home. Amelia was a fantastic host—really friendly and quick to respond, with clear instructions for check-in. The location was great too—just a short drive to Kelso and not far from other cute towns like Melrose. We had an awesome day exploring Kelso and a lovely evening back at the accommodation. Would definitely recommend staying here, and we’d love to come back!

Me, my husband and our 3 kids stayed here for 3 nights and didn't want to leave. The house itself was beautiful, welcoming and we felt right at home. We were all together but still had plenty of space for the kids to chill on their own. The hot tub was amazing, we used it loads the whole weekend and the added bonus of having horses in the field right outside was a hit for the kids. Will definitely be back!!

Just spent a restful few days at the caravan at the keep. Virginia was a wonderful host and the caravan was a cosy, peaceful and charming place to stay. The views are breathtaking and there’s everything you could need for your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the peace and tranquility. I would highly recommend a stay to anyone wanting to visit the area

we found a little gem in this cottage, great location to tour around, found some lovely walks with great views in the surrounding area, the roads are a bit dodgy lots of potholes so drive carefully, the accommodation was well equipped nice little touches like complementary chessboard,procecco, fresh eggs, tea coffee & condiments, we missed a freezer compartment in the fridge but managed for a few days break, the bed was comphy the shower was lovely and the hot tub was great with amazing views in a private garden for our dogs to run freely, there was little treats left for them aswell, ide definitely recommend the stables

6 adults and 1 dog had a wonderful stay at Ronnie's. I highly recommend visiting. The home is beautiful, the location is perfect for exploring Edinburgh. We walked in, and got the bus too, both were super easy. So many lovely shops on the walk in. The house was just perfect, had everything we needed for cooking big family meals, the tv was great, the showers were amazing! Ronnie was flexible with check in and out and was there to greet us which was lovely. Super clean, and the kids were delighted with the mini boxes of cereals and biscuits - I think they probably ate every single packet it was such a novelty (they are adults too so clearly easily pleased!!). Definitely recommend, you won't be disappointed.
