Jon was a perfect host. Great communication. Flat was really nice & , great location for us to head to Murrayfield for the Rugby. Couple of nice local pubs close by. Would definitely go back again.

Nice big place. Clean and tidy. Nice little starter pack of bread milk etc left for us. Plenty of towels. Rooftop terrace with heating and use of pool. A lot of fobs and keys to use but plenty of copies provided for us. Feather pillows, would’ve preferred firmer, but that’s a personal preference. Lovely host.

Elaine, our host, was very flexible with assistance when we arrived and departed the flat, which was helpful. The flat was in a great area, which helped as we walked mostly everywhere in Edinburgh, without much difficulty. We ate out at Palmerstons on one evening, which is a five minute walk and was very enjoyable and then on the Lothian Road, again not too distant. The flat was very clean and spacious for four people and everything was advertised. If and when we come back to Edinburgh we will be sure to check availability with Elaine for our trip.

Family trip from NY, scouting for universities for our daughter. Our other daughter studies at Uni of Edinburgh, and lives on Simpson Loan - so we knew location was very quiet, safe but walkable to the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh within minutes. The apartment was superb. Clean and well appointed. Comfortable beds. Everything we needed. Sharon was easy to deal with - flexible on arrival time to meet our changing travel needs. Can’t recommend this apartment enough. Wanted to come back for 2 nights in early July for our daughter’s graduation, but it’s a 3 night minimum :- (( Simply loved this place, staying at the hotel across the street won’t be the same!!! Thank you for the wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cute and cozy apartment. A little farther from the centre of Edinburgh which was nice but still close enough to walk to plenty of shops and restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed and we would stay again on a future trip!

What a perfect apartment, ideal for our family, we found it to be even better than the listing suggested! Spotlessly clean with great quality furniture including beds, bedding, pillows and lovely thick towels. The kitchen was particularly well stocked, our 5 year old was delighted with the little boxes of cereals and such a treat to find a Selkirk Bannock too! Would definitely stay again, we had a lovely relaxing stay

Lovely homely well equipped apartment. We really appreciated the little bits there like chocolates on the side, water in the fridge and variety of teas too. Beautiful location over looking the Tweed. 2 minute walk into Peebles where there are lots of shops and good places to eat. If you like cheese and wine, I would highly recommend Milne & Pickles, it’s amazing! The only comment I would make is the bed was a little uncomfortable, the springs were digging in, nothing a memory foam topper couldn’t fix though.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay during our stay in Edinburgh. Di was friendly and helpful, and we felt very comfortable. The neighbourhood was amazing, and we had fun shopping and trying different restaurants. Easy access to the Royal Mile, and it was lovely to have a quiet spot to return to at the end of the day. Everything was perfect, and we are grateful we had the opportunity to stay at such a lovely location.

We loved our stay at the wee trail house. Great porch area for the dogs, excellent bike storage facility and Hayley was kind enough to provide a high chair and cot for our baby. wonderful location just outside Peebles and walking distance to the trail centre.

A wonderful great stay. Would highly recommend. Coming from the states I didn’t miss any of the modern luxuries of housing. Fully functional kitchen, and warm spaces with lots of natural light. A truly home away from home feeling. Thank you and hope to meet again in the future.

Responsive and friendly host. We slept comfortably and appreciated the flexibility with check in time traveling with small children.

We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!

Loved staying here and Marie was the best host. The house was just outside of the main part of the city which made for peaceful evenings and the bus stop was less than a minute walk away and so easy to buy tickets. We did the whole week trip using public transportation and walked to the grocery store around the corner. Marie gave us all the information we needed on how to navigate the city what was nearby and even offered to call us our taxis on departure day. Marie was such a sweet and thoughtful host and the house was so cozy and comfortable for our party of 7 (2 adults 2 seniors and 3 kids 10 and under) if we ever have the chance to make it back to Edinburgh we won’t stay anywhere else!

A beautiful house in a gorgeous setting - less than a 5 minute walk down to the bay. Had everything we needed, including lots of toys to entertain our 2 year old niece!

The cottage was exactly as described. The owners were very communicative and we had no issues during our stay at all. It is a great location, nice and quiet very close to Kielder Water and Forest Park.

Lovely flat in a wonderful location. I live locally (was staying during house repairs) but would definitely recommend for a holiday stay. Bruntsfield is a wonderful area of town, with lots of cafes, restaurants, and shops, very near the Meadows, and very accessible by bus or on foot to the city centre. The flat is on a quiet residential street and is well laid out with lots of windows, high ceilings, etc. Comfortably furnished with plenty of storage for guests's belongings. Also, we had a to postpone our check in date and Eddie was able to accommodate us which was a big help. All communication was straightforward and clear. Thanks!

Lovely apartment . It is true ….it is immaculate .Decorated really nicely with a very relaxing vibe. Such a sweet town with unique shops and excellent coffee houses and eateries. Will definitely book again.

Spacious, comfortable and quiet apartment with walks right from the door, and good road access to local towns. Plenty of space for drying wet outdoor gear (it was February…), and always felt very warm and cosy to come back to after a long day outdoors. If you like the hills to yourself, this is definitely a great area! Lucy was always very friendly and helpful. Had a very good meal at the Kailzie Courtyard Cafe, and had a fun day trip into Edinburgh on the bus (goes directly into the city centre from the Old Station about 4mins walk from the front door).

Wir hatten 5 tolle Tage. die Wohnung ist groß, cool eingerichtet, hat alles, was man braucht und liegt nahe bei den Meadows. Wir kommen gern wieder. Sehr zu empfehlen.

The flat was exactly as shown in the photographs. Tastefully decorated with everything we needed for our short stay easily to hand. James and Alex had left fresh milk, bread and eggs for our use and provided helpful recommendations regarding the best places to eat nearby.
