Had a wonderful overnight at Lawers Rest. Beautiful location and house had everything we needed. Very clear directions and instructions which were most helpful.

we loved every minute, very secluded and private, the horses right outside our cabin was definitely the best part!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Arrived with the hot tub already set up and heating up. Great website that pointed out a nice local walk. Good distance from both Dunbar and North Berwick for days out/meals/takeaways. Cosy accommodation, good shower/bathroom facilities. Would strongly recommend, well worth the money.

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay! Helen's place is the perfect location for exploring Skye and was very peaceful. The hot tub was such a treat after a day of hiking around the island. We had everything we needed and we especially enjoyed the fudge Helen was kind enough to leave us. Helen was a great host and gave us plenty of information on how to get there and where to go. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting the island. Thank you again Helen!

Just back from a long weekend here and it was so peaceful! The cabin it’s self is beautiful inside would definitely go back and would recommend

Absolutely lovely place that we didn't want to leave! Very quaint location away from everything. We were surrounded by farm animals, was lovely seeing chickens, rooster and even a peacock running around! The cabin turned out to be more spacious than the photos made it look. It was clean and well stocked with necessities. The highlight was definitely seeing the Aurora on our first night there! Would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway, 6/5 stars!

We had a brilliant stay, the views were spectacular! Our dog was secure in the garden and loved the freedom of being able to run around. The cabin was easy to find as Lindsay gave us brilliant clear instructions. The cabin was beautifully kept and had everything you could possibly need! They were so thoughtful with a handwritten post card and some sweet treats! We will definitely be back! Thanks for having us!

What a wonderful stay, the photos of the cabin didn't do it justice! Gorgeous views of the surroundings and lots of green space around each cabin which was great for the dog. A lovely, secure outdoor area for each cabin was also great. The cabin itself was spacious, spotless and had everything we might have needed for the evening. Log fire was set and everything explained thoroughly at check in by friendly host. Can't fault this place and definitely would return with dog and little one in tow! Thanks again!

A genuinely wonderful stay at Mayen Estate, Ross was responsive, informative, and a great host. On arrival we were given a hamper with local goods, and a card for my partners birthday, as well as a bottle of champagne (which was very much enjoyed!). The house was fantastic, squeaky clean when we arrived and beautifully furnished, with plenty of firewood for the twin fires. The grounds at Mayen are spectacular, and I would highly recommend having a walk around all 700 acres, sadly the walled gardens were closed and under renovation when we stayed. Ross provided a full map of local recommendations, as well as connecting us with a taxi company for a visit to a local distillery. The local recommendations were spot on, and really helped to plan the trip. A lovely stay, and we look forward to returning in the future.

For our family of 4 Harriet’s cabin was a perfect rand cosy etreat and starting base for exploring the environment. The location is scenic and calm and the cabin is well equipped and beautifully maintained. Check in and out went very smoothly and the host are very friendly and supportive. Looking forward to returning as soon as possible.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. It’s cozy, quiet, and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. This is the perfect base camp for exploring the Quiraing and surrounding area. To best enjoy the charming setting, plan ahead and pick up groceries in Portree and utilize the (tiny but highly functional!) kitchenette in the cabin. Highly recommend this place for those seeking a peaceful, slower, bucolic experience on glorious Skye!

We stayed at Jackie's beautiful cabin for 3 nights and honestly had the most wonderful time here. This place is exactly what we were wanting and was incredibly peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Could not recommend this place enough! Thank you very much!

Priceless stunning view! Perfect location in between Fort William and Glencoe (20mins drive to either). Nice and quiet area, perfect for a retreat/ getaway trip!

Set in an amazing location just off the main road, although we couldn't hear the noise of the traffic at all. Very picturesque surroundings and perfect spot for watching the sun rise while relaxing in the hot tub. Spacious cabin and very well furnished. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. We had 2 pizzas delivered which were 10/10.

Claudia’s cabin is lovely! We had a cosy weekend away surrounded by wind and rain but the winter weather only added to the atmosphere. It was a great cabin to spend the time reading in and watching the birds on the loch. Cooking was easy with the facilities in the cabin and Claudia was extremely responsive and helpful.

Een hele fijne plek om met redelijk wat comfort, lekker in de natuur te verblijven (en eekhoorns te zien). Het huisje is verwarmd. Dus zelfs als het buiten rond het vriespunt is, is het binnen warm genoeg. Je zit hoek is buiten, dus zet de haard aan en een pot thee op het vuur.

We stayed only for a night at the family cabin but we enjoyed our stay here. We even cooked our dinner and all the utensils were available that you’d normally use. They even have a restaurant and a steam room facility but we didn’t use them because of limited time. I’d definitely recommend it to others as it’s very cozy and it is close to all attractions in Isle of Skye.
