Had a good stay at this beech house, nice location, quiet and it was nice being able to bring our elderly dogs

We had an amazing weekend at City by the Sea House hosted by Sarah! The home was perfect for our family stay—spacious, clean, and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. One of the biggest perks was the ample parking, easily accommodating both our vehicles and our 25ft boat. The dedicated water spot made it incredibly convenient for launching and docking. The swimming pool and hot tub were a huge bonus, making it even more enjoyable for both kids and adults to unwind after a day on the water. Sarah was a fantastic host—super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a great place to stay with easy boat access, plenty of space, and awesome amenities, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!

Upon arrival we were in awww of the view. This location is prime & super safe. Theres plenty of outdoor seating in & all around the gorgeous pool with waterfall/lights. Picnic tables for guys to prepare the poles for the fishing. The deck even had a green glow light which made night fishing much more enjoyable. This place has 2 kitchens. One is located upstairs and the other is downstairs. The one downstairs has that big open bar door so you can be cooking & preparing food while not missing out on all the fun going on outside. That’s great because who wants to be upstairs and feel left out. 5 clean bedrooms…one is very private downstairs. It has doors to keep closed so if you want to keep that kitchen open, the air stays In tv room & bed room. Both kitchens have Utensils, plates, coffeepot, stovetop ovens & refrigerators. Bedrooms are nice and stairs going to 2nd floor are easy to climb. Nothing like the ones I’m use to climbing that leave me breathless. Had a blast!

This was an Absolutely awesome place to stay and I am ever back in Rockport I'll look for it again. The houses were very interesting, unique, quirky, comfortable. I stayed here with 3 other team members and everyone had their own private space and good community amenities to enjoy. short walk to fishing spots.

House was just what we needed for our fishing trip. Having the canal was awesome. Wish you were available for our next trip in August but someone beat us to it. We will look this one up first in the future.

Accommodated me at the last minute was able to check in very fast, beautiful home and location. And communication was great Cannot wait to go back.

We had a great stay. They have everything and more that you need for cooking and plenty of towels. Our son enjoyed fishing off the pier. We’d definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed the weekend family get together . Place was very private but a few minutes from stores and restaurants. Relaxing and cozy

The house was perfect for our work crew, there were 6 of us and we all fit comfortably. The garage was big enough to fit our trailer and all 5 trucks inside. I could see how this would be a great location for fishing as well, it was 30 minutes from Port A as well as Chorpus.

One of the better experiences I've had with a host! They were prepared and professional with all aspects of the check-in process, and were accommodating to some special requests, which met the AirBnb experience that we all came to love from the old days of Short term rentals. The accommodations were great, and fit our larger group nicely. Enough space to handle everyone, and cozy enough to feel like you were sharing your own home with close friends. There is a lot of extra fun to the house that we didn't quite get to use...but appreciated that it was there! Important to note...our guests all commented that the beds were very comfortable! So kudos there too... Thanks for the stay!

Stayed here because I was working at invista and it was less than a 10 minute drive and that’s a big plus! The place is spacious, everything was nice and neat, would definitely book again in the future

Great place for our family to gather for a fishing weekend! Comfy couches in the living room with a huge TV. Lots of counter space in the kitchen. Delicious selection of coffee pods provided for us! AC was wonderfully refreshing during the hottest weekend of the year. Bathrooms were big. We had a fun time driving down the road to flounder and crab. Would definitely stay again!

This was my second time staying in Whistler cottage and both have been wonderful experiences. It is clean and cozy and if you are a birder an absolute dream during Whooping Crane season!

Angie’s place was amazing, the house was very clean and comfortable, and the fishing dock was incredible! We stayed out fishing all day and night! Would definitely stay again!

We LOVED this Airbnb! First, Summer was super friendly and responsive which was impressive since it was a last minute booking during the Christmas holidays. The house was charming, well furnished, supplied, clean and nicely decorated. It felt homey! They had little “extras” around the place that made it feel like they were thinking of the renters. The mattresses were firm, but so comfortable that we slept great. The house had so many extras like an awesome jungle gym tree house that we didn’t use, but would be fun for a family with kids. I would definitely recommend the host AND this AirBnb. Who would have thought my hometown could offer such a neat place to stay for those wanting a beach town get-away! Two thumbs up! Thank you Summer for helping us make our trip home a good one!

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving Week stay at the property. Lighted pier was a real attraction. Three bedrooms, and a day bed in the living room. Lots of stuff one can use to entertain yourself or use to go fishing. Recommend this property if you want a quiet, safe place to get away.

Loved this place - very clean, plenty of space for boats, and an awesome game room for fun!

The house was fantastic, the yard was fantastic, our stay was fantastic. Darla was super responsive to our questions and had really good suggestions.
