The place is nice and roomy. Quiet and safe surrounding that you can walk around and jog. Literally 20 second walk from the beach. Great kitchen, large fridge. My only (minor) complaint is that the parking lot has very narrow doors and it stressed me out everytime I backed the car 😢

This was the second time we have stayed here. We will forever stay here if available. Matina was quick to respond, very attentive to our needs. Honestly the best host we have had in this area. We have been coming to this area (from 18th-28th street) the last 6yrs and usually come twice a year. She has fans, beach items, things for toddlers and your infants. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

This is hands down the best home I’ve rented! It has everything you could need - definitely feels like a home and not a rental! The house was so cute and loved the touches from the original home. The furniture was very comfortable and everything felt clean! We absolutely loved our time. The dutch door looking out to the back was wonderful. We loved watching the kids play in the sand or swing on the hammock. The only downside was that the beach directly behind the home (over the sand berm) is not clean. There is loads of trash including needles. But you can easily walk to the nicer part of the beach or the bay area directly across the street. Would definitely rent again! The hosts were so communicative and friendly. Would recommend!

We had a wonderful peaceful time at Will’s place. Beautiful view LOVED the location. Will, recommend local spots to eat. We went to Nicks and it was delicious. It was cloudy for 3 days during our stay, but the beach is beautiful still on cloudy days. It's so much fun walking the area. Beautiful houses and a complete beach experience. Will, was great and very attentive.

The house is very spacious. We enjoyed the outdoor seating options and spacious kitchen.

We loved this house right on the beach! We would definitely stay here again. 2 out of the 3 beds were so plush and comfy. Just don't leave scooters or bikes on the patio as we had a scooter stolen and a neighbor nearby had a bike taken the same night.

Chris and Michelle were very responsive hosts. We loved the location and were thrilled with the little toys, books, and beach items provided for our use.

Danny was the best host! We were unable to find a remote for the tv in the family room and Danny came right out after work and brought what he thought was a fix but didn’t work and he immediately went out and bought a new TV for the family room to rectify the situation. Danny was very kind and his home was amazing! So close to everything and very clean and pristine, we will definitely return.

I was really grateful Lee was able to accommodate us on such short notice. Her communication was great. The home was better than the photos and stocked with things to make our stay easier. I wouldn’t normally book a place without A/C but it was cool and breezy and actually needed the heater at night. The pool was too chilly for us this time of year but the lights out back were so pretty we spent a lot of time in the back yard. We accidentally locked ourselves out (make sure to read your instructions and don’t lock the bottom lock on the door handle) but Lee helped us get back in pretty quickly. We only had a small bit of time to visit the beach but it’s so close and there are great bikes and some ocean toys. I would stay here again on our next visit to Huntington Beach.

This was the perfect spot for our family. The pool was exactly what the kids needed to relax. We felt very comfortable in the space and enjoyed our time there.

Had a great stay, Vicky is very responsive. Location is amazing! A small grocery store is a block away, public beach access very close. Everything is walkable from the house if you are able. Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay at DJ and Brandee’s home last weekend while my mom and I were in town for the Surf City Half Marathon! The house is gorgeous and comfortable with fantastic amenities - everything was as described. It’s a short walk to downtown and was perfect location for us to get to the starting line. The pool and their big comfy couch were perfect for our post-race recovery. The kitchen is awesome; I loved cooking in it. DJ and Brandee were fantastic hosts — always responsive and kind. Really appreciated their hospitality and highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you!!!

Long Beach is my hometown but it's been some time since I've been back.. Jack's place was a lovely way to get reacquainted with my old stomping grounds. It's a quick easy walk to the beach, there are scooters and bikes to rent and tons of things to do, or put your toes in the sand and do nothing at all. The neighborhood is quiet with a great vibe, the entire city is lovely.. plenty of activities for kids and adults, lots of local restaurants and bars. Jack's place made me feel so at home, with a garage for guaranteed parking, altho street parking was also easily accessible. Already planning my next trip back, one thing I won't have to research is lodging... can't wait to book with you again. Thank you!

This place was lovely and Sue was very accommodating. It was clean, spacious and a great location. We didn't realize this was two separate units with two rooms in each unit. Great for one wanting privacy. The kitchen is pretty stocked with all that you need. Comfy beds, relaxing common space and large dining room table for gathering. The bed frame was a little squeaky (which I only noticed because I had a little one sleeping with me, so I had to try to be super quiet lol) but other than that, this place was perfect. <3 Thank you Sue! We appreciate your hospitality.

Traveled for business. We were comfortable and able to have zoom meetings and felt like home away from home. A lovely property!

This is a fabulous house for a family. Has everything one would need. Comfortable, spacious, private, great amenities. The vinyl collection and the karaoke machine were a welcome addition. Our family truly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely come back.

Lauren and Dario are super hosts, both were very responsive and communicative! The 1-bedroom home was perfect-clean, well maintained; no issues with WiFi (for work); bedroom was nice and cozy. Art work from local artists was displayed in each room with brief descriptions, this was cool! Overall, it was a great experience. I will stay here again and recommend the home to friends and family. We stayed here with a group. The house was even more beautiful than the photos. Very clean, spacious and well stocked with clean towels/ bedding. Only a 10 min Uber to Catalina island express so it made for such an easy trip. Great host, very accommodating!

We loved our stay at Cape Catalina! This is a great property! So close to the beach and the beach is beautiful! The neighborhood around the house is great for walking and running. The house was very clean! We would definitely stay here again on a return visit. We also really appreciated the gift waiting for us when we arrived. There were a variety of snacks and lemonade, which was so nice to walk in and see after a long day of travel!

We had an amazing week at Brian's place...the vibe was what we expected, spacious and airy! The hosts are wonderful and super responsive, made sure we settled in comfortably and had everything we need. The home provided bikes and beach gear...we really enjoyed biking around Newport and even made it down to Balboa Pier and took the ferry to Balboa Island. We look forward to coming back again soon!
