What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

I can’t recommend Lisa’s place enough. We had a different air bnb booked which cancelled on us 2 days before our trip. We were so pleased to find Lisa’s lovely home and we are pleased our original one cancelled! The house is really large and spacious, lots of room for our group of 10. Rooms were comfortable and all facilities were more than adequate for our group. Lots of seating inside and out, lovely hot tub and a lovely sunny garden. The house is on a quiet estate with ample parking. Lisa communicated really well and check in was easy. Would highly recommend

We had an absolutely lovely time at Kate's place! The children loved the outdoor space and the location being so close to the beach was perfect for them to run off steam! The house was lovely and so well equipped for everything that we needed. We had a great week away and will certainly look at coming back again at some point! Simon and family

On arrival we immediately felt at home. The surrounding area was beautiful and the grounds were large and very child friendly. My grandson chose this area to do his 4.5Km charity walk during his time here. The jacuzzi was a big hit. The house was also large and accommodated 6 adults and five children between 5 yrs to 10 yrs. with ease. A modern kitchen was very well equipped with good quality items, it was very large and easy to work in, even the larder was well stocked with essentials. You could tell that Tim, our host, takes pride in the house, furnishing it with many William Morris fabrics, amongst others, tasteful art, plus original wooden features etc. Crisp linen and decent size bathroom towels. Tim, an all round lovely chap, popped in to welcome us with a gift of local produce from a local farm shop.....the raspberry jam was to die for. games and books were aplenty also. We are hoping to return again. I will, without a doubt recommend Tim's property.

We had such a fantastic stay here, the hot tub was a particular highlight! Lots of space and feels really secluded, but also really easy to get around and enjoy the local area. Charmian was a great host, really quick to respond and answer any questions but totally left us to it during the weekend. Would definitely recommend and would love to return!

Outstanding! Jo's place is a real home away from home - spacious, well equipped - notably the kitchen - and within easy walking distance to Hythe town centre (and Waitrose). We stayed over Christmas so made full use of the kitchen to host a big group (we have family in the area). A fabulous time was had by all, and the hot tub proved to be a winner!

Incredible stay. The hot tub was incredible, the accommodation was clean and beautiful. I promise, if you stay here you will have the best time. nothing to complain about it was perfect. They gave us a welcome pack with homemade jam , eggs bread and crisps which was lovely. It didn't feel like things were added in for dogs, but more that cabin was built with dogs in mind. It made our stay so much more enjoyable. My terrier loved the closed garden and being able to rummage around in the grass whilst we relaxed in the hot tub. Had all the amenities you need and lovely and quite location. We did not actually see Andrew and Heather as we came away to the bolt hole to relax and didn't venture out much as out cabin had everything we needed. So for anyway one who what's to choose how much they see there hosts this place is perfect. However, if you need/want proactive host they can be that for you to and are very accomidating. They made sure we was ok throughout our stay.

The house was spacious, stylish and practical with everything you need. The location is central, near to the beach and quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a brilliant stay at Nicola’s house. It is beautifully done and very clean. Easy to find and get in with the lockbox. Amazing location for Whitstable high street and the beach. Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay out of the hustle & bustle of Whitstable but a gorgeous walk in along the beach / coast walk - flat and easy for all. Really enjoyed staying in this area - lovely houses and beach feels very private. Plus the house is 3 houses down from the sea and upstairs bedrooms have great seaview. Very sociable space - 4 couples stayed and we had so much room to cook, eat & sit and the garden is a bonus.

Lovely property right in the heart of Whitstable really convenient for the beach, harbour, shops & restaurants. Very well equipped with lovely outdoor space. Fantastic choice for a weekend break. Thank you Maya

Nice little house. Pleasant decor. Excellent modern kitchen. 4 minutes walk to Whitstable high street and the seafront, with lots of Cafes, Bars and restaurants. It is probably more suited to adults than kids.

I stayed at this property with 4 friends and it was perfect for what we needed- gorgeous property which looked exactly like the pictures and it was fully equipped for anything we needed and more. The property is a 5 min walk from the main town and also has a multi-storey car park a few mins walk away. There is plenty to see and do in Margate so we were torn between being out and staying in playing games at the big table with a fire on. I have already recommended this to others and hope I get to stay there again in the future.

We had a wonderful two night stay. Katy and Bryan were lovely hosts, and we very much enjoyed the freshly-baked bread and home-made jam. The location was beautiful and peaceful, and the cabin was charming and comfortable. We will be returning!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Stable. The photos when we booked looked amazing but in reality it was superb. The bed and settee were super comfy and all the TV set up was great. We had amazing weather for April so really enjoyed the little sun trap of a garden. The lights at night were so pretty. Going to get some for home. The kitchen had everything we needed. Little goodies left by Greg were very nice. Our little dog was very well behaved and enjoyed his holiday too. The stable is in good walking distance to everywhere in Southend. We walked miles both ways on the beach. Luckily we came before 1st May because after that till September dogs are not allowed on the beaches. And that would have been a game changer for us. All in all it is a lovely little cottage. Designed beautifully well done.

Lovely place very clean and cozy. Hot tub was great also very clean. Love the little touches with the eggs and orange juice. Will book again in the summer when the pool is open thanks for our stay.

Nice stay! Comfortable beds, clean rooms, thoughtfully laid out, well equipped, and so close to great walks and heritage sites. The kids loved the indoor pool. The chalet is probably meant to be enjoyed best in warmer weather but Neil provided enough space heaters to keep warm. The electricity is run on coin meter- took about 6-7£ for 2 days in February, could probably get away with half of that in warmer months.

Had the loveliest stay at Larissa’s place on her gorgeous land. The place was perfect, had everything we needed and was presented amazingly, the garden was beautiful and we made good use of the hot tub. The animals were the cherry on top for us, the little lambs came to see us and we loved Prince Onion the cat whi came and introduced himself ☺️Perfect location as well for our shopping day at Ashford Designer Outlet. Thank you Larissa!☺️x

The accommodation is exactly as described in a great location with sea views. Perfect for families as well as couples or individuals. Having a sea view is lovely and it is within walking distance to the beach.

Fantastic location, beautiful and comfy house. Perfect for a large family get-away. Games room was good fun and the garden was perfect in the sunshine. The pebble beach is just a few minutes walk away and access to the Cliff walk is easy as well.

I booked to stay at the cottage for my husband's birthday and it didn't disappoint. The communication between myself and Tim & Maite was great. They were always responsive and super helpful. The photos of the house don't do it justice. It’s such a lovely area and although you may see the occasional walker in the distance, you feel like your'e in the middle of nowehere. The hot tub was a great addition to the property, especially since the pool at the house was not available due to it being out of season and super cold, as explained prior to our arrival. We ( and the kids) loved the house, loved the fire, loved the hot tub, loved the games, We played the family edition of Cards Against Humanity and it was just a lovely relaxing family weekend away without computer games - it was bliss. The perfect setting and in my husbands words - it was the perfect find! Thank you so much to Tim and Maite for such a wonderful stay.

Simple, easy and cosy caravan with all the conveniences. Normally I’m Not fussed about WiFi but I had to work whilst I was there and having WiFi in the van was a useful touch. The place was clean and tidy and got warm quickly, perfect for a little autumn getaway.

Great house to spend time with friends for a 50th. Very close to Canterbury which has lots of great shops, bars and restaurants. Also close to Chapel down and a couple of stellar pub do lunch out dinner. The house was everything we needed it to be and the pool was perfect!
