Maria made us feel right at home. The place is incredible, and the furniture is equally impressive. We mostly followed the recommendations they gave us. The house is situated in a very safe area, just a 5-minute walk from a restaurant and a coffee shop. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away. It’s the perfect place to stay with a baby. We used the barbecue and beach chairs. Knysna is an ideal break on the Garden Route. We would have stayed longer if we could have!

We loved our stay! Baron’s view is a beautiful estate and Henk’s place is perfect. The house is extremely well equipped and very peaceful with fantastic views. Sky Villa hotel is also on the estate which was great for drinks by the pool and we had some fantastic lunches & dinners there too (excellent service!). Henk also gave us some really good recommendations around Plett and was a great host. Highly recommend!

This was a safe area where we could walk through the neighborhood. It is close to everything in Knysna. It was very clean and having a washer was really helpful. Wifi seemed slow. The property has a lot of steps, but that was fine for our family. It was nice to have multiple seating areas so we could sit together or spread out when we wanted to. Host offered information on local attractions and had coffee, milk, and sugar for when we arrived.

The venue is beautiful designed so much space with different areas yet not huge. Host was always helpful and responded quickly. We loved the house it was a home

We had a really lovely time at Birgit place. Birgit and Heide were great ;any problem and it was sorted straight away. We loved the terrace and views. We both hope to go back again next year. Thank you Birgit for sharing your lovely home with us. Jen and Phil.

Our principle contact was Jonathan who couldn’t have done more for us, a superb host who lives nearby. The property is well equipped throughout and located in a safe residential area just 200m from the estuary. We spent 24 wonderful days there. One point is that internal access to the upstairs is by a rather narrow spiral staircase which might not suit all ie elderly but for others ie children a point of excitement. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending both the property and hosts as a wonderful home to relax and unwind in. We’ve only found one other to match!

What a fantastic stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed—it truly felt like home. The location is ideal, just a short distance from the beach and shopping centers. The little thoughtful touches, like the soft towels with chocolates, shower gel, and shampoo, made our stay extra special. And the coffee, sugar, and cookies were such a lovely surprise! We were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness, which made us feel right at home from the start. There’s honestly nothing we can fault. My kids were so sad to leave, but one thing is for sure—we’ll definitely be back!

A quick find when plans changed at the last minute and we needed to stay over for one night. Immediate response from Etienne set our minds at ease. We arrived later than expected but were still met with enthusiasm and friendliness. The apartment was exactly as described and had everything needed, including fresh milk in the fridge and coffee. Clean with an awesome shower and definitely recommended.

Great Value for Money, very helpful hosts, and just smooth and easy experience overall, would be easy to do a long stay here. Definitely unbeatable when it comes to value for money.

The appartment was cozy & neat with an incredible view! The location is also perfect. Walking distance to the beach and lagoon. +-3 min drive to town & shopping, restaurants etc Safe parking and easy to get your luggage upstairs with the lift. Kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are comfortable and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon.

We really enjoyed our stay in this modern Apartment. Everything was just as described. Close to Robberg Nature Reserve. We would stay there again. Loved the beds and the pillows.

The highlight for me was the stunning view from the balcony — both in the morning and at sunset, it was absolutely breathtaking. The place is spotless, fully equipped, and thoughtfully maintained. Nothing was missing in the kitchen or bathroom. I truly enjoyed every moment, and if I come back, I’d love to stay here again without a doubt!

I had a great stay at this Elize and Jannie’s beautiful place. It had all I needed and more and a wonderful view out towards the lagoon and sea. Elize was super responsive, personable and provided lots of recommendations. Would highly recommend staying here!

We had a lovely weekend getaway in Knysna! Our stay at Cherise’s place was amazing! The place is wonderful, neat, very well-equipped and those views from the balcony- what a blessing! Wifi and Netflix are additional benefits. Our fur babies enjoyed the garden area which is fully fenced and offers peace of mind. I loved the bird chirping and beautiful trees :) Just a short drive to town, restaurants and shops which adds to the overall experience. We wish we could stay longer. Thank you both!

We loved our week stay at this beautiful place!! It was so nicely decorated, clean and comfortable, providing just what we needed. The location was the best, walkable to everything and a gorgeous view from the bedroom.
