We don’t really know where to start to be honest..the magical location, the breathtaking views, the beautiful and luxurious cabin equipped with everything you need and more, all the little details that Robyn and her husband put effort and creativity in. The cocoon is truly special, we only wish we could have stayed longer, 6 stars out of 5 for everything! Thanks you so much Robyn!

We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Michèle en hebben ook de kans gekregen kennis te maken met haar liefdevol gezin. De plek zit zo’n 4km rijden van de N2 hoofdweg op een grintweg. Met een kleine wagen rij je dat stukje best op het gemak maar dat is met wat geduld perfect te doen :-). Eens toegekomen, kom je terecht in een oase van rust midden in het woud. Het is een perfect plekje om tot rust te komen én het dient tegelijk met als uitvalsbasis voor uitstappen naar regio Plettenberg (25min rijden naar het begin van de baai). Passeer wel best langs de supermarkt als je er de eerst dag toekomt. Je kan de eerste avond dan gezellig koken in het huisje en hoef je de weg niet meer op :-).

We had a magical stay at Goose Cottage. The attention to detail was wonderful and made our stay better than we thought possible. The Cottage is comfortable and spacious and all our wants and needs were exceeded. The view was absolutely spectacular with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We will definitely return for a longer stay Thank you very much Linda!

Ein wunderschönes Haus mit fantastischem Blick. Dean ist ein Super Host und steht einem gern beratend zur Verfügung. Das Haus ist toll gelegen und man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Es war ein super Ausgangspunkt für uns um unseren Urlaub in Südafrika zu starten. Die Umgebung ist sicher und Plettenberg Bay bietet viele Möglichkeiten um etwas zu unternehmen oder auch nur zu chillen. Es gibt einige Restaurants die man auch zu Fuß erreichen kann.

Pour mon second séjour tout était encore formidable. La petite route qui serpente le long de la réserve d’oiseaux est ravissante. La maison en bois d’une très belle architecture. Le studio est très spacieux et décoré avec goût. L’équipement est parfait avec en plus la possibilité de laver et faire sécher son linge. Sarah, en charge de gérer la location est très disponible et répond à tous vos besoins ou questions. Service impeccable. Un lieu à recommander, élégant et paisible.

Jonathan kümmert sich sehr gut um seine Gäste. Unsere eigentlich gebuchte Unterkunft musste leider kurzfristig storniert werden, der der Eigentümer die Wohnung benötige. . Jonathan hat sich sehr gut um eine Alternative gekümmert. Die Wohnung war auch super. Die Lage leider nicht in Strandnah, dafür aber mit anderen Vorteilen. Ich kann Jonathan empfehlen.

We had a wonderful time at Lara’s home. We were a family of 8 and fit comfortably in the magnificent space…no one felt like they were on top of each other. Separate wings of the home and en-suite bathrooms made it feel very luxurious, while the common areas were comfortably furnished and had stunning views over the lagoon and beach. Our favorite was the deep l-shaped couch for family time that was super comfortable and had a double sliding window that brought in all the sea air and sunshine. Mandy was an incredibly warm and kind co-host which made our stay even better. Don’t hesitate and book this house! We will be back for sure.
