We had a wonderful stay at Bridesmere over New Year and it was just what we needed. Peaceful, beautiful area, lovely comfortable home from home. We appreciated the enclosed garden for our spaniel, the beautiful and spacious bedrooms and the living area which was large enough for all 7 of us, two families. WiFi was strong upstairs so no issue with all of us connected and the tv had all apps we needed to watch films with no buffering. There is a beautiful walk through the forest along the river just minutes from the house which leads to a very nice pub serving good food. As other reviews mention, the kids room smells a little musty/damp but this was not a huge issue and we opened the bathroom window after showering which helped. Kitchen well stocked but knives are a little blunt! Children loved the games barn and not having to bring bikes with us was really helpful and appreciated. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay and we would definitely return. Thank you for having us.

Our stay was brilliant, the surroundings were perfect and the secure walled garden was excellent for the dogs! Would recommend the Talbot Inn in Mells for food and drink too, only 8mins drive. Would love to stay here again, thanks Marie.

The lodge at Low Water is outstanding, we have stayed before with friends last year and wanted to take some other friends, they were equally impressed.. it has everything you need in the lodge, the surroundings and garden are beautiful.. it is walkable along the river into Frome town, where there are eateries, pubs and really great independent shops.. definitely will stay again..highly recommended..

we stayed here to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday with friends and had a fabulous time. Beautiful location, very peaceful and relaxing. Good kitchen and comfy beds.

I booked very last minute after another host cancelled. Deborah’s place was clean, well furnished, comfortable, warm and had all the things we needed. It’s a lovely setting down a private track with wonderful countryside views. The communication was quick and easy and I’m very happy to recommend. There were even some complimentary home made cakes which went down very well. I hope to come back again another time!

We had a lovely couple of days staying at Willen Farm Lodge. It is located next to the owner's home, however, due to having a lockbox for the key we didn't actually meet. This gave us a real sense of privacy which we valued. The accommodation was beautifully furnished to a high spec, and incredibly comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. Tea, coffee and toiletries were provided, alongside a few extra bits such as milk, bread and biscuits. A perfect location for a relaxing few days exploring the local area taking in the Dorset countryside and Jurassic coast.

Lovely home for our large family get together. When asked questions Elisha was very quick to respond and even recommended some lovely restaurants. We loved Penarth it’s such a lovely place to stay. We could stroll for about 20 minutes to the pier and various restaurants from the house. Also easy access into the city by train.

We booked this as a special family trip as my sister and her children were visiting from New Zealand, we wanted somewhere memorable and a bit different, Emillies place was certainly that! the photos really don't don't justice, it's a spectacular space and set in beautiful surroundings. The home was well equipped and we all agreed the beds were really comfortable- like being in a boutique hotel! and 3 bathrooms for 5 guests was amazing luxury! We had a little problem while there and Emillie sent someone round immediately to fix it! We were lucky with the weather and ale to explore the grounds and nearby Lyme, but we would have been equally happy being 'rained in' at the home!! We couldn't recommend it more highly to anyone looking for a 'something special' staycation. thanks Emillie.

Cannot imagine a more beautiful and peaceful setting for this magnificent house and extensive grounds. Everything was perfect, the hosts charming, friendly, approachable, helpful. The apartment spacious, extremely well equipped and comfortable. The views of the coast and Exmoor are stunning, no photo can reproduce them faithfully, and you are 100 metres away from an array of paths. Thanks for the privilege of staying at your place.

We stayed here for our wedding night. Absolutely beautiful accommodation, lovely touch of petals on the bed. Grounds were stunning and I even had a cuddle with the resident ginger cat. Would love to stay again.

Robert and Gali were amazing hosts as they are so warm, thoughtful, and kind and it made my colleague and I feel like we were back home. The communication is also unbelievable as they were always in touch and very responsive if there were any questions. The location is absolutely perfect as there are many places within walking distance and you have a lovely view right outside. The home is also full of all the amenities you could desire and is very clean. I would highly recommend this place for a short or long-term stay. Absolutely amazing place and incredible hosts!

I stayed for a month in Rachel's place as I moved back from abroad and needed a base to get settled back from. Rachel was a great host and always there for support, she even gifted me some homemade flapjacks during my stay The property was exactly as pictured if not slightly bigger, the location was easy to find. You very much feel like you're out in the countryside in Bishop Sutton and the lake is 10 minutes away and it's a lovely walk.

Great Host, great caravan, close to onsite amenities and around a ten minute walk to beach front, great location to explore the surrounding areas. Will definitely be going again 😊.

This was our second visit to this amazing Airbnb: It is very central to walk into the heart of Bath with the theatre and lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk. The private parking space is one of the reasons we selected this home. It is cosy and comfortable. Everything you could possibly want. We want to come back in the warmer weather to enjoy sitting in the private courtyard garden. Hosts were very responsive. Would 100% Recommend staying here. Thank you .

Geoffrey's place was a beautiful apartment with stunning views, especially the sunset. amazing to relax at the end of the day on the balcony. Top tier! Geoffrey was great and super helpful. He left breakfast and everything we could possibly need to cook and make ourselves at home. Would 100% recommend and if the time came would definitely stay again. Thanks heaps!

Just back from a short stay in Hannah’s Cottage. We had a lovely time in this cosy and well appointed cottage. John was so helpful with info re local walks, activities and weather updates (!) The cottage was perfect for us and our two dogs with the meadow opposite for quick walks and then detailed instructions on how to get to a lovely waterfall walk left for us specifically as I’d asked about that type of walk. A bit isolated for my 15 yr old but the WiFi worked in all rooms so he was happy!

We had an amazing break in this wonderful accommodation in a beautiful location. We will definitely revisit another time. Lovely treats for us all too. Thank you so much.

Janey was the perfect host. We arrived a little early and she very flexibly let us check-in, despite having to prepare everything herself as her cleaner was not available. We also arrived a little unprepared and on a Sunday but Janey had left all the essentials we needed to tide us over including a delicious homemade cake, croissants for breakfast the following morning, milk, butter and eggs. The setting is lovely overlooking a very large pond with a lot of visiting geese and ducks. There are little boats and life jackets for children. This is an ideal spot for a family holiday with the fossil beach at Kerridge Bay only an hour away by car and a number of lovely walks on Iron Age hill forts very close by, as well as lovely villages and National Trust properties. We would highly recommend Janey's property for a relaxing, comfortable and homely holiday. I am sure we will be back.

This is a great place to stay . Catherine, the host was superb . Really helpful when I asked questions, and always replied promptly . The accommodation is great , with an AGA cooker , log stove , and a very comfy bed ! The lane to get there is very narrow, but you soon get used to it. We will be back !

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the nature. The kind gesture of fresh bread, milk and jam were happily received .

We had a lovely few days stay at The Hermitage. Everything was spotlessly clean with gorgeous views from the living area, bedroom and patio. Bed was comfy and the cottage is blissfully quiet & peaceful, you could hear a pin drop! Clare was a very helpful & friendly host, very responsive to messages, but she really respected your privacy which is how all hosts should be, and she provided some nice little touches such as a welcome card, delicious cake, milk and a couple of local goodies. The walk from the cottage to Blagdon Lakes was lovely, we also visited Wells Cathedral which is stunning (this now has a £14 entry fee), RSPB Ham Wall and Cheddar Gorge. We can really recommend The Hermitage, it was one of the nicest Airbnb's we've stayed in - & we've stayed in a lot!!

Five wonderful days at Garden Cottage exploring Exmoor with a view to retirement. The cottage is ideally located in Timberscombe fifty metres or so from the A396 on the east side of the moor. Karen really went out of her way for us. It’s nice to stay somewhere that provides the basics you need rather than clearing them out after each visitor. The homemade bread was a nice touch thank you. The cottage was lovely and very quickly felt like home. As it is February we used the wood burning stove but as the heating is so good it wasn’t necessary. There is a good size garden with parking outside. We were fortunate with the weather and managed to visit many of the local attractions. I would recommend Dunkery Beacon on a clear day, Porlock and Porlock weir, Lynton and Lynmouth and Dunster. Living in East Sussex we are spoilt with brilliant towns - Hastings, Eastbourne and Lewes. Minehead was comparable though with a lovely seafront and historic buildings. A definite retirement contender.
