Had a great stay at Amy's place in Gouldsboro! Everything was as described. Felt right at home and everything was clean and organized. There was lots of space outside for our dogs to roam and explore while being safe in a large fenced area. Not a ton of restaurants open in the off season, but the ones we found were fabulous! Lots of trails for all skill levels in the area if hiking is your thing. Amy was very responsive to any questions we had and gave us some great suggestions for places to check out! Nice view of the water from the house. The neighborhood feels very private, but it's still close to everything you could need. We will definitely be staying here again!

Needed a place to stay while finalizing the selling of our house. Hotels don't work for us because we have birds. The house was close to town, clean, and on a quiet road. Perfect fit for our needs.

It's a great house with thoughtful touches like snacks, motion-sensitive lights under a kitchen cabinet for navigating at night, and windows blinds that automatically open slowly. The recliner built into the sofa is quite comfortable (I dozed off in it :-). The place is in a quiet neighborhood and conveniently located near the bike path, so I could walk to the university. I could also walk to the nearby grocery store. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Sabrina's place for 2 nights while visiting Acadia. The property is very private and quiet. it had a view of the cove right behind the house. We enjoyed going out there to see the sunrise. The house is very clean and organized. It had everything we needed for out stay. I would recommend this if your looking for a place away from the crowds of Acadia National Park.

Such a wonderful stay at the farmhouse! It was so cozy and great to be right next to the brewery. It had everything we needed for a get together - and the amazing VHS collection was such a great trip down memory lane! We will definitely stay again

My friends and I loved this Airbnb. We brought our dog and he also loved it! The firepit outside was a huge plus. It was clean and comfortable. There were games available to play and a streaming TV. The kitchen was spacious and it was a good size for 5-6 people.

Great house and good location, it was warm during our stay. Enough space for our company. Not far away from the city. Overall it was nice staying there.

This was our first time in Maine, definitely worth it! The host was amazing and replied as soon as the message was sent. The house was clean, plenty of entertainment and a lot of places from 5-10 minutes away. I would 100% recommend and be back.

This was our second time staying at this stunning property, and somehow, it was even better than the first! We could see the thoughtful updates with new furniture, gorgeous décor, and little touches that made it feel even more special. The pool area was an absolute dream. It was warm, there is a diving board, it’s deep, there are built in lights, speakers, TV, and more made it a luxurious escape, making us forget the cold entirely. We also loved the pool table for some friendly competition and the outdoor fireplace, for the coziest s’mores night. The master bedroom was a showstopper with a sparkling chandelier and dreamy decor! It would be an amazing spot for a special occasion. The entire home is spacious yet cozy. The location is peaceful and picturesque. Big gas station/convenient store, diner, and an ice cream shop near by are convenient. Hidden gem and perfect staycation spot. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is so great. It is exactly like the photos, but I think even despite that the listing doesn't quite capture how huge this house is. It seems pretty well insulated, also, so despite us having a decent sized group, it never felt crowded or loud. There's so many nooks and crannies to tuck away in. Also, this is an old house with old house charm, Cale really preempts a lot of questions with super helpful signage throughout the house. Not sure which of the six knobs you need to turn on the shower? They already thought of that and have put helpful guidance on the wall. We cooked for 8 people in the kitchen and found it well stocked – they even have a crock pot. Overall, this was exactly what our group was looking for.

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

BEAUTIFUL Home!! Tons of space to relax and spread out with our family! The beds were very comfortable! We really appreciated all of the bathrooms for our group! The kitchen was huge and so handy for preparing meals! I absolutely loved the style and atmosphere of this wonderful home! We also loved being able to bring our dogs!! We had a lovely time and we would most definitely come back!!! 🥰

This lovely apartment directly overlooking the park in downtown Bar Harbor was the perfect place for our family. With grandparents, parents, two small children, and a chihuahua, we had room to spread out, sleep comfortably, walk to the beach and the park, shop, and eat wonderful food and ice cream. I would want others to know that the stairs up to the apartment are steep, a tiny bit tricky for the senior with bad knees and the toddlers with short legs. The apartment has a Smart TV, which wasn't really watchable for us. If they had cable it would have been just perfect! Overall, this place was in a dream location and afforded all of us a chance to relax and enjoy the gorgeous fall weekend in Maine.

Fantastic spot. The cabin is so well equipped and squeaky clean. Maggie has thought of everything! Walkable to town in minutes and private. There are even glimpses of the sparkling ocean. 5 stars!

Our family and I had a wonderful stay at Jackies, we are all originally from maine, and her home gives you everything great about maine. We really felt at home, it snowed christmas eve which made it even more beautiful ( The driveway was plowed out early as well). I brought a small christmas tree with us on our trip up, and when we walked in, the place was decorated for christmas, which was just amazing and so thoughtful. We definitly plan on staying again, the next time we are back in maine. Thank you again Jackie!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Samantha's place in Cushing. To say that she is "very responsive" would be an understatement. She typically responded within 10 minutes no matter what my question was. She lives a short distance away which really helped facilitate things. We had a minor issue with the Internet which required communication with the service provider, but she coordinated everything and resolved it right away. The house is totally charming - old, a bit creaky and adorable - and well maintained (no issues there). We imagined how great it would be to visit in wintertime and snuggle up to a roaring fire. They have an expansive yard with gardens great for a short evening stroll. Forest habitat behind the property was great for bird watching. The area is absolutely beautiful - quintissential coastal Maine. The Olson House (local attraction) is a few minutes drive from the house. The grounds have a walking trail along the water with fantastic views of the coast.

What an amazing time I had at this place! I got married to my best friend and we had our families joined together! Everyone cooking every night, beach walks, board games, and fires for when it got a little cold. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding week! Thank you so much to Paul and Shankari for being wonderful helpful host!

The apartment was well appointed (well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower), clean, and very convenient to where I needed to be (Colby College). There were some issues I encountered with difficulty regulating the heating system and hot water never being really hot (but warm enough to shower). Lori was responsive about all of it & I found workarounds while I was there and my stay overall was comfortable. Lori expressed that they would check on these for future guests & I am sure she will as she & her team seem quite on top of things.

Kimberly is a wonderful host! She made sure to check in with us and see that everything was fine, and informed us well about how to get to the home as well as all the amenities available to us and other things to watch out for (such as being off the grid, etc.). I would definitely come back again!

We were on a road trip celebrating our wedding anniversary, when we stayed at the "Blackberry Cottage". Our road trip was a laid back trip, deciding as we went, what our next destination would be. With that being said, we were able to book our 4 night stay with Suzanne, the day before our intended arrival. We had a small hiccup with booking, that was easily rectified in a very prompt manner. Suzanne was very approachable with any questions that we had. She made us feel right at home for our 4 night stay, checking in with us, to see if we were in need of anything. We would recommend the lodging at the cottages to any friends or family planning a trip to Maine I. the future!
