Lovely stay at the cottage. The view is gorgeous. Very peaceful. Comfortable bed and Willie was very helpful during our stay.

Clean, well cared for in a neat spot. We loved exploring the rocky coastline with the kids. Walking path at the end of the street. Shower and bath were luxurious. Lots of attention to the details - clear house guide, labeled maps of the view, ambiant lighting, kids entertainment. The staircase is a bit steep. We had no problems, but be warned if steps are a challenge for you.

Diana’s place was perfect for our family holiday. The location is both tranquil and remote in the way we like but not far from interesting and beautiful places (Applecross, Torrodin, Plockton and Skye all less than an hour away). The house was comfy and looks right into loch Kishorn. It’s well equipped and there are great local amenities nearby in kishorn and loch carron. Milo (Diana’s partner) was a helpful and charming host and we would absolutely recommend this lovely house for a highland holiday.

This was the perfect Xmas getaway to escape all of the madness at home. We spent the week having dog walks on what felt like our own private beaches. The accommodation was well equipped and had extremely comfortable bedding. We also really appreciated the supply of fuel for the multi fuel stove. A warm, cosy and memorable week. Some lovely additional touches that were really appreciated. Hope to visit again.

A perfect 'croft' in an idyllic location. The accommodation was cosy, comfortable & spotless. Tony & Susan were great hosts; very helpful but not intrusive. We will never forget our stay. We doubt many other Airbnb hosts can offer seals swimming past the front window and the birth of a Highland calf - free of charge!

Wonderful location, right on a beautiful sandy beach. The cottage was really nice with everything we needed. It was a great base to explore Lewis and Harris. As someone who likes to watch birds, there was lots of activity in the area. There are sea eagles in the area, I saw them flying above the cottage 6 out of the 7 days we were there.

This cottage is in an amazing location. The views from the living room were outstanding at every time of day. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped with plenty of space to relax. Despite its remote location (which makes it so peaceful) there is plenty to do, with walks to wild places, boat trips and even a little bistro restaurant (Elgol Bistro) offering lovely food. We loved staying here.

Loved staying here! It’s steps away from Talisker distillery and an amazing restaurant (Old Inn). Highly recommend. Would just note that half of the king bed was a bit uncomfortable.

Jamie’s house is in an incredible location with stunning scenery all around. We loved sitting out by the water and seeing seals fishing nearby. The house is beautifully designed and clearly a lot of thought has gone into curating each space of the house from the furniture to the art in each room - it’s really a pleasant home to stay in and I highly recommend staying here.

What an absolute star of a host Angie is, she totally saved our NC500 trip with a stay at her beautiful harbour side cottage. Would 100% highly recommend a stay here if you are doing the NC500 - perfect stopping point before heading over to Skye.

In such a beautiful and peaceful location and the spectacular views can be enjoyed from all the windows. There was a log burner all set up ready to go which made the space feel very cosy. Felt very comfortable and relaxed the whole stay. Sarah was very friendly and incredibly helpful. She made our experience there even more perfect. We enjoyed using the well stocked kitchen to cook in as well as taking advantage of the local cafe and restaurants where we enjoyed locally caught scallops and langoustines. Totally recommend and hope to return one day.

Keith and Tess welcomed us by waving from the driveway of the venue. The house was clean and comfortable with so many, lovely personal touches! There is everything that you need on arrival plus some home made tablet, shortbread and jam! Delish! The house is well situated very close to the Skye Bridge and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Dies war unsere zweite Ferien Location auf Skye und die Aussicht und Ruhe ist atemberaubend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im Haus, die Küche ist super ausgestattet und wlan hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten traumhafte Wanderungen machen, dank einem Wanderführer Buch von Gill und Alan. Wir haben es sehr genossen und empfehlen die Location sehr! Wenn wir wieder nach Skye kommen dann wieder hierhin.

We had a fabulous Christmas at An Dòbhran. The croft was modern, warm, comfortable, spacious, immaculately clean, the kitchen very well equipped and perfect for 4 adults. Duncan and Shona had left a welcome package of bread, milk and eggs, also a box of chocolates under the tree as a present, very thoughtful. Great communication before hand, Duncan answering all my questions and providing information. I cannot recommend a stay here highly enough, beautiful location, hotel and pub a short walk away, easy access for The Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan. We have stayed around this location many times before, and were very sad to leave.

Magnifique logement, extrêmement bien équipé et fonctionnel ! On n'a pas l'impression d'être dans une maison de vacances tant l'attention portée aux détails est grande. La route pour atteindre le logement est assez périlleuse mais quel résultat. Calme et vue à couper le souffle au bout du chemin. La proximité du pub est un plus non négligeable. Ne manque plus qu'une machine à café et tout est parfait 😉.

Mark and Charlotte were perfect hosts. They were polite, responsive, and their welcome pack was exceptional with clear instructions on getting to the property (following google maps didn't work), working all facilities, and the local area. The property was beautiful inside and out. The living room was a great social hotspot, as was the games room. We will definitely be coming back!

We had an incredible stay at Aline Lodge. The lodge is really beautiful - top marks for all the fires having firewood, firefighters, and matches all ready to go. The electric Aga means the kitchen is always warm, and the view is world class. We went fishing twice (caught 11 trout!), clay pigeon shooting, used the sauna, and played table tennis and billiards. The kids went out on the boat around the loch and saw sea eagles, golden eagles, seals and a porpoise. Robert the gamekeeper was great - really responsive and happy to help. Could not recommend this highly enough - we will be back!

Strathspey was amazing! The home was beautiful! Loved all the decor and the views were stunning, even in the foggy, rainy weather conditions!! Very welcoming and comfortable! The hosts gave great recommendations for things to see and places to eat! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely beautiful home. Unbelievable location looking out at the pretty harbour. Peaceful but with everything we needed close at hand. Skye is extraordinary. Magical. We loved the Three Chimneys (a special thing) including the one at Talisker (more casual). And Birch was great for coffee. Neist Point, Waternish and Raasay are beautiful in addition to all the well known places. We just had a fantastic time.

The Tin Sheds were in a fantastic location, super clean, and the setup was perfect for our family of five. We loved sipping coffee in the morning while watching the sunrise over the lake, and drinking a glass of wine near the comfortable wood burning stove in the evenings. This stay significantly impacted our stay on the Isle of Skye in a positive way!
