A lovely annexe with a superb hot tub. Lots of nice walks and pubs too. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Jane’s lodge, the hot tub was amazing and helped us totally relax. We had a car so was able to go out and explore. However there was also plenty to do within walking distance. Highly recommend Jane’s place

Really relaxing, comfortable and peaceful. Superb decking area and private garden area. Lots of places to visit and the setting is lovely. In fact, met all our expectations and more! Really pleasant stay in sumptuous surroundings. Outstanding host!

We had a fab stay here. Scenery was peaceful and pleasant. Nice walks nearby and friendly welcome on arrival. Quick responses to all questions we had before and during our stay. All we wanted in a mini break for New Year. 😊

Our family with 3 children had a wonderful couple of days here. The swimming pool with the inflatables was everything we hoped it would be. The bed linen and towels were very clean and it was very convenient having so many bathrooms. Kitchen had all we needed and plenty of room to eat at the dining table or lounge on the comfortable sofas Near to Chichester when we managed to prise the children from the pool. Justin quick to reply to any questions we had. Children are asking when we are coming back so that is our plan!! Thankyou Justin

We had a great time at John and Philippa’s house. The pictures were very accurate and both the house and the location were great. Everything was clean, the house was super well equipped. The hosts were very friendly and available for any doubts. We definitively recommend the island cottage and would love to go back someday.

We had a wonderful couple of days stay at the Salty Groyne. The cottage is gorgeous and immaculately presented. Treats were left for humans and dogs and we felt very welcome! The host was great - very proactive and friendly. We hope to return again soon.

From the moment I first communicated with Nikki she was friendly and so helpful. When we arrived it definitely gave us the wow factor - tastefully decorated in keeping with the history of the property and the surrounding buildings. The extra touches of bubbly and flowers - for my daughter on her wedding day was so thoughtful . It's such a peaceful place with fantastic views over the harbour / lots of places within easy walking distance. We loved our stay and will be sharing with others! Thank you!

Louise's Hideaway is a slice of Sussex heaven. The property is stunning, and the treetop view offers the most wonderful opportunity to watch a range of birds. I arrived pretty confident in my ability to identify robins and starlings - ;) - but can now recognise chiffchaffs and firecrests! Even the most reluctant ornithologists will be entertained. The Hideaway is also stylish and spacious, with various woodland walks on the doorstep. Louise's reflexology treatment is healing and relaxing too. I can't imagine a better place to unwind, or more welcoming hosts. Thank you, Louise. I hope to return.

Had to move myself and two small dogs out of my home at quite short notice for some works to be done. Found this beautiful little cottage in the grounds of a family home on the Goodwood estate that looked perfect. Small, private and secure enabling me to set up to work within a few minutes of arriving. Carol was super flexible, enabling me to move in over my lunch break and provided easy to read instructions for a seamless move. The place was just as described and spotless. A welcome basket was provided with local bread, butter and conserves, chocolate and biscuits, as well as, should you need them, lots of ideas for local places of interest to view. The dogs and I had a thoroughly rested stay, was able to work without interruption and were able to enjoy the secluded and private garden with some friends who came to visit. It was lovely to be met at the gate most days by two friendly hens. The cottage represented exceptional value for money and I would highly recommend.

Fantastic location in historic setting with beautiful gardens and South Downs nearby. The Bowery is full of charm, yet well appointed with all mod-cons, and feels larger than in the photos. Caroline was very welcoming and quick to answer any questions or give useful advice on the area. Cat lovers like me will be happy to pet the 4 cats in the garden, but anyone allergic need not worry as they can be kept out of the cottage and are shy unless you make the first move. It was a joy to stay and we will certainly return again soon.

A lovely couple of days in a very tranquil place with lovely views and a very short walk to the coastal path and beach. Loved watching the dog walkers early morning and evening. House was perfect for our stay, beds very comfortable and with lovely views.

Thank you Jo, we had a wonderful stay. We had a family get together to celebrate birthdays and the house suited us perfectly, two dogs, two young children and 6 adults had plenty of room with lots to do. The garden was a bonus in the excellent weather we were lucky to enjoy. Jo’s recommendations for food were just right with a meal at the nearby Buck’s Head and food brought in from Gill Holland. We’d thoroughly recommend the property and would return without hesitation.

Great little find! Loved the outdoor space where we were able to sit and have food with family. Log burner was lovely in the evening and made it even more cosy. Shower was hot and powerful and the kitchen had everything we needed. Will recommend and will definitely book again

This was one of the best stays we've had in an Airbnb- Richard and Gaye were brilliant hosts- very friendly and helpful, and they go above and beyond to provide you with all that you need, including a welcome pack of food and drink. The property has such character and is very clean and comfortable, with good sized rooms, located in a lovely peaceful village which has access to beautiful walks, including the South Downs Way. Richard and Gaye were so welcoming, and on hand if we needed them, whilst giving us lots of space, including use of their fantastic garden. We would happily go back to use as a base for more walking. Highly recommend!

Peaceful location, annexe equipped with all necessary amenities, great place to stay and lovely location . Slept well , owners very friendly and responsive.

What we loved: - Amazing location. Rowlands has great facilities, nice pubs, cafe, a shop and lovely walks. - The property has stacks of character, it’s really beautiful. We really enjoyed the fire. It was just a gorgeous place to rest and be. - Good amenities - coffee machine, smart TV, well equipped kitchen. - The cottage was very clean and warm (we stayed when it was very cold outside). - Good shower. - Very comfortable beds, good quality linen. - Good communication from hosts. - As someone who is terrible at parking I would dispute other reviews that say you can’t park - you just need to turn right into the road and reverse back. Small suggestions - The window in the bathroom really needs privacy film. - For the price point the welcome basket is a bit light, would expect milk & small bottle of shower gel & shampoo. But overall a wonderful stay and we would stay again.

Great quirky 2 bed right in the heart of Arundel. As a young family of three we very much wanted a place with the bedrooms on the same floor and this hit the mark. We’ve stayed in several airbnbs over the years in Arundel and they pretty much all have steep stairs, as this one did, which is no exception. Mark actually lives here part time so this place feels the way airbnbs used to: full of homey items, a fully stocked spice rack, cooking utensils etc (so many places don’t even leave you with salt these days). Added bonus were all the children’s toys and books accessible if desired- very much our case. The apartment is in a cute cottage on a public parking lot and at the back of a pub I think, so although there is definitely some daytime commotion, it is surprisingly quiet at night. Thank you mark- the welcome chocolates were promptly enjoyed and we will certainly be back!

We had lovely time this July in Bembridge. Fintray Cottage was close to the beach and also close to Bembridge village centre. We thoroughly enjoyed the big garden it came with. The house has a large kitchen, ideal for a big family or for the occasion of entertaining guests. Will definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay - lovely house, very comfortable and easy to live in - home away from home! It would have been nice if we could have checked in earlier (4pm felt very late) and checked out later (10am is very early) but apart from that we had a great time and I would recommend the cottage for those wanting a relaxing stay in a beautiful area. It was a bit further away from the beach than the photos suggest but walk is pleasant and the beach beautiful.

Fantastic two bedroom property. I really recommend this for exploring the west end of the South Downs. We walked and cycled several sections during our stay. The property is finished to a high standard and is well equipped. It was great to have the use of a washing machine when we returned to the property with muddy clothes after exploring. We'd like to go back in the future.
