I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kjartan’s listing! He has been extremely responsive and helpful. He gave great advice for me during my stay and great things to do around the area. Parking was always available, home was easy to find and as described. Book here, it’s worth every penny.

Fantastic home! It was cozy and quiet with great natural light and a beautiful balcony while being a 10 minute walk from downtown. The home and host made you feel immediately at home! I would highly recommend.

My family and I (5 adults) had a great stay there. Hjalmar and his wife greeted us when we arrived at the house. He was very responsive and flexible with our check-in. The place was clean and comfortable. It had everything. We would stay there again. Highly recommend!

A perfect space for a couple, in a location that’s great for both going into Reykjavík and driving around the golden circle/south coast. The apartment looks even better in real life, and was left clean and with everything we could have needed, we absolutely loved our stay! Thank you so much- would recommend to anyone :)

I can’t say enough about how great this place and host is. Excellent central location -close to bus stops, tour pick up points, restaurants, attractions and supermarket. Very tastefully decorated and stocked - modern yet warm and cosy. Heated bathroom floors are nice. (Side note - If you are sensitive to noise it’s not for you - this is a central area and has foot traffic as such.) Most importantly - Thora was an amazing and responsive host. I hurt myself and she had sourced and delivered crutches for me with 25 minutes on a Saturday night! She was very helpful with other information needed. Highly recommended for your stay.

Amazing apartment within easy walking distance of the main areas in Reykjavik. Lovely view from the balcony & the main bus stop #12 was right opposite. The apartment is huge - we’d definitely recommend this & would come back ourselves too.

Siggi was very friendly and helpful for our trip. The car he provided was very useful and reliable. The place was quite, clean, and warm just like home.

We loved staying at Haukur's place - it was walkable to a ton of restaurants and attractions in downtown Reykjavík, but still quiet in the evenings. Check-in was very easy. Parking was also pretty easy. We used the Parka app and parked one block away from Haukur's apartment (parking in front of the apt is zone 1, but if you park one block up it's zone 2 and half the price). Overall, great location and experience. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at this place. Andri keeps the apartment super clean and it has everything you need. Andri is also an exceptional host, always quick to respond to any questions and offering great local tips and recommendations.

Pour notre première nuit en Islande, nous avons apprécié le calme de l'appartement d'Helena. Il est agréablement spacieux et très très propre. Vraiment proche de l'aéroport, c'est un plaisir de s'y poser après une journée à voyager. Keflavik est une mignonne petite ville pour se balader. De la chambre, la vue sur la mer est apaisante. Notre petit garçon a vraiment apprécié les jouets à disposition et le petit lit installé pour lui. Merci beaucoup ✨

Oh we absolutely loved this darling little place. Very cozy especially in winter. Felt like our own little cozy cave. Very walkable to groceries, restaurants, so close to airport and Blue Lagoon. Highly recommend for a visit to SW peninsula of Iceland.

Svava was a great host and was flexible with the check in time we requested.The beds were really comfy .Def recommend the place when visiting Iceland!

el piso era tal cual en las fotos. el acceso, sin llave pero con todas las instrucciones para el garaje, la basura etc. el apartamento estaba ordenado y limpiamos, con todo lo necesario para 2 personas. La zona a muy tranquila, en el puerto antiguo pero cambiando a menos de 5 minutos del centro turístico. Ubicación perfecta para conocer la ciudad sin mover el coche. la comunicación con los anfitriones era rápida y ágil. Nos informaron de restaurantes, de museos, de cosas que hacer incluso un día que había alerta roja se preocuparon por avisarnos. Se ve que se preocupan por los vistantes.

We loved staying in Anna's apartment! She is an amazing and kind hostess. The apartment looks even better than the pictures, very clean and comfortable. Includes all the amenities you could need and the location, although not in the center, it's really accessible (if you rent a car) and the neighborhood is nice. The building has an elevator which was a plus. Would stay there again.

I could not imagine a better place to stay in Reykjavik! We were there for 9 nights and loved it. The place was comfortable for our family of four, with a full kitchen and dining table. The location is so central, literally a 2-minute walk to Hallgrimskirkja where we joined multiple tours during our stay. There were literally a dozen attractions, stores, and restaurants within a 5-minute walk, including the Sun Voyager, Braud, Cafe Loki, and others. We recommend this place wholeheartedly and will try to book it on our next visit.

It is a cozy, warm, comfortable, and convenient apartment—perfect for our family of four. It was really nice to be able to relax and cook some easy dinners in this apartment after our long days exploring the areas around Reykjavik. Thanks for providing us with three good nights in your nice apartment.

Our family of 5 (3 pre-teens / teenagers) did an IcelandAir stopover for just a couple of days. This BnB was in a great location close to the airport and the city. The home itself was wonderful and easily accommodated us. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Elisa provided amazing recommendations for things to do and local places to eat. I wish we had more time to spend in this wonderful country. When we come back, we hope Elisa and her family will host us again!

Lovely place if you are looking for some peace and quiet. It’s also a good location to see the Northern Lights - they were right above us!

I'll have to say that at first I was not happy - the Airbnb that we reserved had not been cleaned from the previous stay. HOWEVER, the situation was rectified when I reached out to Hildurg. Hildurg responded immediately and accommodated us into a new apartment for our stay within the same building. The rest of the stay was pleasant and I would say that having a responsive and helpful host is extremely valuable on Airbnb. I would reserve again with Hildurg given how helpful everything was and how close the apartment is to the center of Reykjavik! There is free parking available around the area too.

Amazing place, next to everything.

We had an amazing time at Geir’s family home! This was an incredible place to spend the new year and we would absolutely return! The location is perfect. We were able to walk outside the city lights a short distance to get an amazing view of the northern lights. A designated lookout is also a short car ride away. Plus, downtown Reykjavík is a short car or bus ride away! It could also be a good walk for those who like to hike.

Larus was a fantastic host, very responsive. This place was stunning, great views of the ocean, super clean, and had all of the amenities you could need. i definitely recommend this place and would come back!

Dom Mattiego to świetna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania Reykjanesu (od geotermalnych okolic Gunnuhver, przez park krajobrazowy z jeziorem Kleifarvatn, Reykjavik, aż po gejzery czy wodospad Gullfoss). Blisko z lotniska (20 minut autem). Sam dom w spokojnej okolicy, bardzo duża przestrzeń, w tym 4 sypialnie, duża kuchnia i łazienka czyniły to, że jako 4-osobowa rodzina czuliśmy się bardzo komfortowo. Łatwy dostęp do kluczy mimo późnego przyjazdu, możliwość zostania nieco dłużej w dniu wyjazdu oraz szybkie odpowiedzi gospodarza - to także czynniki decydujące o naszej bardzo wysokiej ocenie. Jeśli miałbym polecić bazę noclegową w tej części Islandii, to Vogar i dom Mattiego polecam z czystym sumieniem. A przy okazji - powroty o ciemku (zima 2025) do domu Mattiego z naszych codziennych wypraw i zorze polarne widziane nie tylko w ciemnych miejscach w okolicach miasta Vogar, ale także spod domu - niezapomniane chwile dla nas wszystkich!

The place was lovely!Kitchen and bathroom were the highlights of the apartment!Fully equipped,felt like home.The neighbourhood has free parking so it's only a matter of finding a place to park.Very close to the center with lots to do around. Only downside (which is of course listed) is the lack of an elevator, so depending on the age and luggage it could be an issue. We would definitely visit again!
