Vanessa and Ricardo were the perfect host. Ricardo was helpful from beginning to end, he speaks and understands English which helped me find his place and get around the city. Always responsive when I needed anything even late at night. His place is right by the road so it wasn’t difficult to find. The location is central to many things including the beach so that was a plus too. The apartment was very spacious, clean and fit the description on his listing. Only downside was when I realized I’ll have to pay my own power bills but then it’s a general thing in Benin AirBnB’s so it’s not exclusive to this listing… I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely come back whenever I am in Benin Republic. I’ll definitely recommend Ricardo and Vanessa’s place 100%.

Très bon séjour dans un logement parfait pour un couple. J'y ai passé mon week-end (en solo) et j'ai pu faire tout ce que j'avais prévu à Cotonou dans le calme et la tranquillité. Il y a un gardien sympa à disposition si besoin, logement propre correspondant aux photos, beaucoup de commerces dans un rayon de 800m. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Hôte réactif malgré une réservation de dernière minute. Le logement est propre et les chambres spacieuses ! Le gardien est très sympathique, à l'écoute et disponible. Très bonne expérience. Je recommande ce logement

J’ai eu l’occasion de séjourner dans un grand nombre d’Airbnb, et je peux affirmer sans hésitation que Sayade est le meilleur hôte que j’ai rencontré. Extrêmement réactif, chaleureux et toujours prêt à rendre le séjour aussi agréable que possible, il incarne véritablement l’hospitalité. La maison en elle-même est spacieuse, bien agencée et agréable à vivre. Sur trois niveaux, elle offre de belles pièces, un rooftop très plaisant pour profiter de l’extérieur, et une petite piscine qui constitue un vrai plus pour se détendre. La qualité de l’intérieur est également appréciable, offrant confort et sérénité. Il est bon de noter que l’accès à la maison se fait par une route en terre en état moyen, et qu’il faut parfois patienter un peu pour trouver un Gozem disponible pour partir. En revanche, aucun souci pour revenir depuis Cotonou. Enfin, le petit hameau où se situe la maison est typique avec quelques petits commerces.

It is a great place to be if you are exploring Benin and love a good scenery, in a neighborhood that gives the home away from home vibe. The environment is peaceful, the house is beautiful and hospitality was top notch. We loved the proximity to supermarkets, restaurants, beaches and the airport, other interesting places. Overall, we received a warm welcome and enjoyed our stay.

This Airbnb fundamentally delivers, I felt safe and may return. For Americans considering, I would have a few notes. First though we say we want to discover places, I think often what we really want are places where at least one or two "Gringos" (to use Mexican parlance) have opened cute coffee shops and places more to our custom. This is not that neighborhood. That's fine, just disclosing. Second, I am not accustomed to thinking of how many MW of electricity I use. Benin is hot, it seems there's no insulation and I used around 3x the electricity granted to be comfortable (about $10 a day surcharge), plan accordingly. Third, though the host said power outages were rare, there were 3 short outages in my 10 day period and when there's no electricity, there's no water. Also fine (it's Africa), but disclosing in case you're working remotely and choosing between this and one of the big hotels. Quiet street, I slept well. Great host with long and prosperous career ahead.

wow what a lovely studio apartment brilliant equipment best stove, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine we have experienced in Africa and a pick up from the airport so kind and generous.

房子状况非常不错，二楼有阳台可以远眺大海。地理位置离市中心很近。房东推荐的司机人非常好，性格好，热情有分寸。有一天晚上充电费半夜一点多给他打电话他还耐心地帮我们。给我们推荐了一些好玩的地方。厨房设备很齐全，餐具厨具都完备，装修风格很喜欢。

Superbe sejour grâce à Florence et sa famille , une colocation qu’on remarque à peine , et on ne la remarque que grâce à l’aide apportée par la famille de Florence Le logement était suréquipé et vous vous sentez vraiment chez vous . Logement d’une propreté impeccable sûrement le plus clean de tout Cotonou Je n’hésiterais pas lors de mon prochain voyage

J ai passé un excellent séjour chez Adébaré. Il a su apporter des réponses à toute mes questions. C est avec un réel plaisir que je reviendrai chez lui, je recommande ce logement sans problème .

I’m very happy about this place , the guy was very respectful and responsive. I’ll be staying there again Next time with my Kids and wife who will be coming in Africa for the first time.

Great place overall! The team was very understanding to our needs. Special mention to the manager, Mrs Koty, who was available, communicative and on top of everything. The only flaw is that the car parking is a bit small and can fit only one car at a time which is difficult if there are many residents with cars.
