5 stars Absolutely fantastic experience. We went for new year’s eve. The yurt is very cozy and has everything one might need The weather is beautiful and warm in the day, and at night it can get cold, but with the fireplace or the provided hot water bags you’re more than good. The town is quiet but it still has life. And it’s a very walkable 25 mins from the dragonfly valley to the town. Ian and the dogs are lovely and more than welcoming, even proposing some activities for us. Every time we needed anything he was 100% helpful. The shower was perfectly hot and the toilet was clean, no issues at all. We will be looking forward to going back again!

The villa which in the listing is already amazing but in life stunning. Huge space in and outside and a heated pool. There are so many amenities that are provided and attention to detail to ensure that everything you need to have a lovely time is there. A home from home. Lovely hosts and good recommendations

This is a great space in a real out-of-the-way part of Portugal. Tired of big city tourism? Try this property. Tiny villages dot the hills and you get an old world sense of Portugal here. The pool is the real star of the property here (as are Eric's three dogs, one of which lounged with us each morning) as it overlooks he view of the river. We did use the kayaks as well. It is hard to get to them down a very steep hill with ladders and a bit of minor repelling. Not for those with a bad knee or hip. Which gets me to, accessing the apartments, particularly the lower unit, is tricky. Steep, slanting and uneven steps that can be a little slippery. Perhaps not for the elderly. Hint for improvement would be to upgrade the furnishings and kitchenware. The knives couldn't cut an orange.

I could not recommended more this place in warmer seasons! A beautiful house, with a breathtaking view, amazing garden and well equipped kitchen. The surroundings, amazing too, very quiet and beautiful. Ideal for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature. The host was very friendly and responsive. However, the heating, even with a fire place, was not effective and the house was very cold, specially in the bedrooms. If the heating is not improved, I will not go back in winter. But in Spring-Summer, this is a place to go!

Een fantastische plek!! Heel mooi, erg leuk met de ezel, schapen, pauw en de varkens. Voor ons qua afspraken helaas toch te afgelegen dus de laatste nacht hebben we helaas moeten afzeggen. Het is er heerlijk rustig en heel mooi

We stayed at Liedewij's & Joey's place on the last few days of the year, and it was absolutely wonderful! They are incredibly nice, made us feel at home, and even invited us to their new year celebration. The place is embedded in nature, perfect to regenerate for a few days. The cottage was a magical little home for our short stay. Thank you for creating this little safe haven 💖 🌈 Hopefully we'll come to visit again in the future! Queer love, Rita & Mehta

So richtig herrlich wurde es, als es aufhörte zu regnen und wir auf der gemütlichen kleinen Terrasse frühstücken und im Schatten auf den Liegen stundenlang lesen konnten. Toller Blick auf den Stausee! Vielen Dank, Francisco! Auch für das Vitamin in Form von frischen Orangen und die bereitgestellte Saftpresse!
