The cottage was simply superb. Located within easy walking distance of the beach , pubs, restaurant and wine bar with a convenience store just next door . Walks / runs to seaton and Branscome from Beer are lovely . Beer fisheries down on the beach is a must also . A peaceful break away enjoyed by all the family

Great hosts. The accomodation was better than expected. Very clean and bedding smelt clean and fresh. The location was perfect. A walk across the road onto the beach with a great cafe. A quick drive from beaches and perfect for kids and fossil hunting. The bungalow was very private and the dog loved the garden. We made the most of the board games in the evening and would definitely come back. The hosts were friendly and helpful. There were fresh scones on arrival which was such a lovely surprise. The dog also had his own treat, along with bowl and blanket The instructions were clear and we felt that all the small touches made us feel very comfortable. We would definitely consider coming back again! 😊

The Owner/ Management were brilliant from start to finish, from questions pre the few nights away, to a question when we arrived. Fantastic rugged and inspiring location on the Coast, and a very well equipped home. We hope to return.

Fantastic little cottage for our family break away. I even asked for our stay to be extended on short notice (a week or 2 before we were due to arrive) and Eva & Richard were able to accommodate this. I'm glad I did as the cottage was so lovely, perfect location with the beach, the lake and lots of beautiful walks at the doorstep. The little fire stove was so nice when coming back from a cold, refreshing walk.

What a lovely stay we've just had here! Tracy was friendly and helpful from start to finish, the flat was spotlessly clean and cosy, with everything we needed - just perfect for the 2 of us and our small dog. All amenities and the beach are just a 5 minute walk away. Thank you Tracy!

Lovely large modern apartment exactly as described. The apartment was very comfortable and we felt right at home Based right in town, shops, restaurants, play area, green space and beach all just a few mins walk. We had a great weekend away. Would definitely visit again.

The Courtyard is just wonderful, we liked it so much we extended our stay by two days. Furniture and linen was a high standard and Jill had thought of everything. Heating and hot water was efficient and the beds so comfortable. Nespresso making machine, jet bath. Excellent and we plan to be back!

A wonderfully located penthouse apartment, that surprisingly goes on and on. Also they’ve put in lovely new bathroom - not the one in the pics - it’s much nicer with bath and separate shower. Stayed at this location with 2 kids, aged 3 and 7, there are two flights of stairs to contend with and a parking spot which is around the bs k of the property that requires a 2 mins walk, but once your in this space meets your needs in an affordable way. Lounge and kitchen are both self contained at one end, and the kids bedroom and master along with bathroom away so you can get downtime and relax once the kids are in bed. Also town and seafront are soo close.

Helen’s places was one of the most comfortable and well equipped places I have stayed in. A short distance from the costal path and within walking distance of Brixham harbour. I would highly recommend it.

A lovely stay in a beautiful location. The apartment had top quality furnishings and fittings, was comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped with plenty of tea and coffee. We loved the balcony and window seat from which we read our books and watched the world go by. There’s an on-site Leisure Club which looked great though we didn’t use it on this occasion other than for a good meal in the Deck where staff were very friendly. We enjoyed a trip to Burgh Island on the sea tractor for lunch and Afternoon Tea and what a treat! Staff were delightful, the food and drinks delicious and the decor superb! With good walks on the doorstep and easy access to the beach this is an ideal place to visit at any time of year. Christopher and Tanya were excellent hosts, gave clear access instructions and responded quickly to our queries. Thank you once again and hope to return one day:) Roger & Jennette

Absolutely fabulous place! Listing was accurate, instructions were clear, and the location and apartment were superb. Would stay again and hope to be back! Love this area and the privacy that the apartment afforded on the balcony was peaceful. Nicki was a fantastic host and so responsive!

Berry cottage; our Christmas miracle. It is very comfortable and cosy with everything you need. We didn't want to leave, we even booked an extra 2 nights.

We absolutely loved Michelle’s family caravan. It’s in a great spot with stunning views. The beach is less than 5 min walk and it truly an area of outstanding natural beauty. We will definitely visit again x

Stayed for around 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful winter holidays together with my young family. The house is stunning the interior design is lovely and and the views are heavenly. Log fire with plenty of fuel was a big hit! pool and hotub a once a day at least activity for the kids especially during bank holidays. The fully stocked playroom was perfect for our young children. Really captured some great memories together with our family in this peaceful location and setting and came away wanting more!

Felt like home away from home and we had a wonderful stay. Natalie was super responsive and accommodated and early check in too. There were tea bags etc in the house which is always great. Everything was clean and tidy and we wished we could have stayed longer. Used the hot tub a few times (though you do have to walk out the front door into the street to get to the back garden which was a laugh in our swimwear). A great location right on the lake and beach. There is a cafe and a local pub, but we wished there were a few more options within walking distance. Would highly recommend and will perhaps visit again one day.

Fantastic stay for a big group. Each bedroom was set up for double beds with en-suites which was ideal. The kitchen and dining room was perfect for a social dinning experience. The lounge was big but was very cosy (also a great tv). The parking was tough but some of us parked right up the road in a quiet neighbourhood for free. Plenty to do in the local area, 3 pubs, monkey zoo, secluded beach, Teignmouth with much more across the river. Would highly recommend for a big family or group of friends. 👌🏼

Beryl’s house is full of light and has stunning sea views from both rooms. It was cosy in the evenings and we loved sitting on the terrace enjoying the sunsets. The location is fabulous for the coastal paths and it is an easy walk to Hope Cove. We also enjoyed our trip into Salcombe and a delicious lunch at the Crab Shack. Thank you for a wonderful break.

Last minute booking due to issues with other accommodation in the area - cottage was beautifully presented. Instructions were clear for self check in and Grant was very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying at Paddle Cottage.

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating an important birthday. The house was amazing. Beautifully decorated and lots of space for 10 people. The Combe house arms was such a unique feature. We will definitely be staying again. Hosts were very responsive to any queries and very attentive. Great stay. Thanks

The panoramic views were absolutely incredible, probably the best from any property in the area! It was a joy to sit with binos and watch the waves, boats, wildlife (excellent bird spotting) and surfers. We saw stunning sunrises and enjoyed both the good and bad weather... stormy seas and high winds were exciting to watch from the cosy lounge. We really appreciated the log supply for the stove, games, puzzles and books and even some welcome goodies in the kitchen on arrival. The house was well equipped and warm, and the Smart TV and WiFi worked fine (even in a storm). Loads of hot water too. The beach was only a short walk away and the Venus Cafe did excellent food, including breakfasts and a good gluten free range. We felt the property was excellent value for money and will definately come and stay again.
